Just so you don't think I'm an old crotchety person that's never satisfied(re:my KFC review) I moved here from Southern New Jersey and I'm a buffetaholic! I moved to Palm Coast, and when I saw that the golden chopstick buffet was going to open up soon after, I was really excited . I have not been disappointed . For the price that I pay, I am completely satisfied .Theres an extensive menu, and I like seafood, so I definitely get my fill when I'm there. My daughter is vegetarian, and she still finds plenty of things to eat there . I personally prefer to go during the week , it's not crowded at all, but it's fine on the weekend too. They have really upped their game on the quality and quantity here! Under new ownership, there's offerings of specialty items like Takoyaki (delicate chopped octopus in fluffy lightly fried balls) to fried oysters, and other delicious offerings. Some items are only on the weekend, but even their weekday sashimi, nigiri, and rolls are larger portions and of high quality. The entire sushi section is much improved. The cooked side has just about everything you'd expect on a Chinese buffet and is cooked very well. There's also soups, noodles, and rice. The habachi section looks to have a lot of fresh options which I have never tried, but must be pretty good judging by the people who are happy to wait for their selection to be cooked right in front of them. First experience was when they first opened and at that point I was not going to return. Very bad.. I have them another chance recently and they've did a complete turn around. Food wasn't fresh and the selection was abnormal but in a good way!!! Will return. read more

Great variety of foods and they also have a build your own stirfry station. Service is great. I was making sure our drinks are full. The food is always fresh and hot and always filled up. The sushi bar is great. They're always making fresh sushi the place is cutely decorated in a Chinese day and it's very laid-back. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven't. read more

Quite a lot for basic buffet..especially when ice cream is only little packaged cups Eamen there many times but just left on Saturday prime time with the venue fairly empty. The staff was all great! Very nice people. Friendly hostess, nice waitstaff. Lots of MSG. By the time the three of us left, we all had headaches. None of us felt good after eating dinner there. There's a wide variety. Several offerings of fresh fruit. Plentiful toppings for your salad. Every employee seem to be practicing food safe, so that was a plus. I don't normally go places that require a sneeze guard over the food but it was my husband's birthday and he loves these places so we came here. Of course the food is very Americanized, but some of it isn't too bad. The sushi was all right. The desserts were cute. The beef spareribs were very good, so were the green beans. 2 items were very good. The spicy shrimp was pretty good. Most of the food was so so but we didn't try the hibachi. We did try small amounts of at least 1/3 of the offerings. My husband was disappointed and I kinda thought we got what we paid for. if you are very hungry or are feeding teenage boys, this might be a good place to go for you. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really great either. They had plantains which was a nice surprise but they were dry. Huge variety for the kids as well, including pizza, and hotdogs. We probably will not return, however, if you want large quantities of food, this might be the place for you, especially if you're trying to feed big eaters on a budget. read more

Saw the ratings on Google and decided to swing by on a Saturday. First impression was the place is really nice. On the weekend, it's all day dinner for $19.99 (latest pricing as of 4/11/2026). They definitely upgraded the space and remodeled everything. The hostess was very sweet. It was her second day and she promptly sat us down. There were plenty of options at the buffet: fried lobsters, fried crabs, fried chicken, steamed clams, green beans, stuffed cream mixed on an oyster shell, zong zi (the sticky rice with sweet red beans wrapped with a banana leaf), hibachi, etc. There was a salad bar, fruits, and dessert. The food is pretty good for the price/location. The service was excellent. The only turn off is most of the food were cooked with old/reused oil. It was evident from the fried seafood and the color of the oil spewing out when you press against it. If your tummy can't tolerate that, I suggest avoiding. Other than that, the buffet experience was nice. It was a good place to test out! read more

The food selection was actually pretty good, and the Pho station was a big plus. The whole place looked clean, and the service was pretty on point. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because while we were seated near the kitchen side (to the right when you walk in), there was a smell that just wasn't right--almost like sewage. Wow. Amazing varieties of food. We were there for dinner and they have sashimi , clams , mussels and of course hibachi , soups , and other Chinese dishes. Steak little tough, and don't order white wine as they are not chilled Peak times might have a line but so worth it. Will be returning soon. read more

Service is so bad. Especially the elder asian lady. They will ask you to pay first as soon as you sit down, not after eating. Once you paid including the tip before you even start eating there will be no service at all including changing plates, serving drinks. Food is good though. I have been to a lot of buffet restaurants. This one has the worst customer service period. read more

We arrived for lunch on Saturday 8/31 and it was very busy. There had been previously waits out the door since the grand opening. We decided to hold off on dining in and just give them a try for lunch. We had heard mixed reviews on social media and we wanted to wait a couple weeks to let them work out the kinks. We were seated on the other side of the restaurant near the servers station. It was loud and very high traffic. Upon visual inspection the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The artificial cherry blossom tree is very nice at the entry. I give them 5 stars for decor and the servers attentiveness. They have this part down. Where there are issues is food quality. They had Florida Blue Crab that were very large and looked amazing, but had a chlorine/bleach taste. Everyone at our table was so disappointed, as this was a main reason we decided to dine in! The drinks didn't taste like bleach, nor did the sushi. Just the crabs. We felt sad to see all that wasted crab on our plates, so we informed our server. They must have been rinsed in bleach. It had permeated through the shells. I explained, but I don't think she understood me. She was polite, but no recook was offered. That was the main reason we went and our table only got 7 plates of food total for 4 people. We tried a few other items here and there, but nothing stood out. I normally don't do hibachi, but I needed some protein. So I got some steak and shrimp. Shrimp was good and properly deveined. Regretfully, the beef was tough. Possibly a chuck cut? Vs Steak? Really tough, rubbery with gristle running through the slices. The cream puff was also frozen. The hot sugar covered doughnut was loved by my son. They had a nice fruit and dessert station! Definitely a plus in this department. That rubbery steak was bitter the end for me. Then the check came and they charged dinner prices during lunch. We arrived at 1:30 and 3:30 is lunch cutoff, so to pay nearly $20 for bleach flavored crabs and rubbery beef is a travesty. We definitely didn't feel like it was a good value. Even if crab wasn't offered? I hope things get better. I have heard some good things, but I'm definitely in no hurry to return. As we walked to our vehicle, we got a whiff of a bad smell in the parking lot. They need to close off the dumpster area, because it was overwhelming. I really hope this place gets better. The saving grace was the sushi & that's not saying much. *this rating is generous, but I feel they can improve. read more

I have to say that we were very hopeful for this to be a delicious addition to the current offerings we have in town. We also love the idea of a buffet so our kids can try new things. Unfortunately, while there is a good selection of food, nothing was hot (or cold). The food you would expect to be warm was barely so and most was already room temp when it hit your plate. The things you would expect to be cold (like pudding) was also room temp. I love the individual servings of ice cream (not pictured) and they were cold but partially soupy (not really frozen, like you expect). The decor inside is lovely with the cherry tree, the lighting they added, etc. The staff were hospitable. Unfortunately, this is a 'one-and-done' for us. There is the same type of food about 45 minutes south of us that is made to order, buffet (it is all you can eat - order from a menu - they bring to your table), hot, delicious, and also priced about the same. Very pricey so make sure you get your fill even though the Food lacks taste. They need to separate the shell crustacean from the other meals so to make it safe for people allergic to seafood/ shell crustacean. I was very surprised when I poured dressing on my salad and it was watered down and weak in taste "again." The service was exceptional with the waitress removing each empty plate and filling everyone's glass with what ever the person was drinking. I will also say the ambiance was not relaxing with people hogging the food area which made it difficult to get your food. The only thing I was pleased with was the waitress, very professional. I am on a vacation in Florida, and we found this hidden gem in Palm Coast that has some of the best food in this town. From BBQ Ribs, to Chicken Dumplings, they have it all. The workers were kind, and the restaurant was beautiful. Very nice buffet. read more

I live in St Augustine Florida so we do not have a lot of buffets. It's definitely better than what we have and cleaner. We arrived about an hour before closing - like most buffets, when quantities get low, fresh batches are not made/refilled. If you want fresh food, arrive earlier or use the grill. Lots of options. We went for lunch time. It was busy. I think instead of making ppl wait in line for table to open up. They should take down name and give a pager. So guest can stroll around or go have a seat. And don't have to worry about losing their spot in line. Okay now the food options. Kids I see pizza and nuggets and fries. maybe if they can add Mac and cheese that's an always a plus. Great variety of food but the flavor!!! It need something. It's okay but need something for that extra boost other then that service was great bathrooms was super clean. It could be cause it's new, however they had sushi, kinda hibachi (nothing like a true hibachi place) and random Chinese buffet foods. Very little of what we ate there or what was actually edible was Chinese food. The rest was the typical fare that most Chinese buffets put on their buffets. Joy Luck buffet in Port Orange costs more but it is so much better. read more

Food is good but the temperature is not that hot just cool. Service is nice as help cleanup my plates while I get more food. Ambiance is ok as chairs looks puffy but when I sat on it it's flat and not comfortable. The place is enough bright light for blind who need more light. Whenever i was eating I would look up and see my Severe staring at me I thought nothing of it and kept eating but then when my check came I added 5.00 tip and asked for cup to go the lady looked at the check and her tip and yelled 5.00! This place is very busy, as it is still new. The wait was about 20 minutes. Once seated, I went for the hibachi. You pick what you want and set it on a plate and hand it to the cook. They do place on a clean plate. This process took 40 minutes. The chicken was good and the streak was chewy and dry. The eggs were overcooked with burnt edges. The mushrooms from the buffet were good. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and the staff seemed friendly. However, the food is mediocre. Adult meal cost 17.99. For me, it wasn't with the experience. read more
