Nǐ hǎo! Been ordering from here for many months now. The food is delicious. It's always fresh and the portions are huge. The price is locally comparable. I get home delivery and the time from order to my door is consistent. Being from New York living near Queens NY and knowing incredible Chinese food there was the King Palace is as close as I have gotten here in Florida. Some of my all time favorite items is Roast Pork Egg Foo Young, General Tso's Chicken, Beef & Chicken sticks and Hot n' Sour soup. read more

I placed an order from Door Dash. Delivery was GREAT! Food was the worse Chinese food I've ever had. The teriyaki chicken skewers were heavily breaded, fried and no teriyaki sauce ever came near these! The most tasteless skewers ever! General Tso chicken dry, overly breaded, couldn't find if there was chicken under all that breading and the rice was under cooked like hard bullets. read more

Today, we got adventurous and ordered outside our regular favorite dishes from King Palace. The dish we ordered was the Five "O", which consisted of chicken, beef, roast pork, shrimp & scallops with mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. Once again, since this dish was marked spicy, so that my husband could eat it, I got it medium spicy (hardly spicy, at all). The garlic sauce is delectable! Slightly different than the sauce on the spicy shredded beef (which I pointed out in a previous review, isn't "shredded," it's sliced), with a savory, sweet-ish, slightly tangy, altogether, flavorful, tastebud treat. This wonderful dish will not disappoint! Along with the new dish we off-roaded with, were the chicken fried rice, (because with the leftover, we're going to try making omurice; the shrimp egg rolls, which are more like spring rolls; the chicken meatball appetizer, and the pu pu platter appetizer, (because I felt like everything)! The chicken fried rice is fine, but I prefer the flavor of roast pork FR. My husband loves the chicken meatballs, and the shrimp egg rolls and they are always delicious & crispy. The pu pu platter doesn't seem worth the $17.00 price tag. I should have just chosen another couple of apps, which is what I would do next time. They give you enough food in each order, so that 2 dishes can feed 2 big eaters, like us, for two (or more), meals. I can't say it enough...we LOVE this place! read more

After a disappointing situation with my food from another local Chinese restaurant, I decided to give King Palace a try. On my second time ordering, I ordered shrimp with cashew nuts, since I do not eat beef, chicken, or pork. I picked up the pricey order, and when I got home to eat, I realized that my dish had been cooked as chicken with cashew nuts. I looked at my receipt, and I had been charged for the right dish. I did not have time to return to King Palace to request an exchange. I called the restaurant and spoke to Manager Jewel. Ms. Jewel asked me to take back the wrong dish, so King Palace could prepare me the right dish. I explained that I had another commitment in an hour and had no time to return a dish. She seemed puzzled at my response. Logic tells you to simply offer to make the dish free of charge the next time I order from King Palace. Nope, that did not happen. Instead, Ms. Jewel asked if I could take back the wrong dish later in the day. Wow ... talk about poor customer service. Who in the heck is going to return from an engagement back home to pick up a wrong dish to return to a restaurant for an exchange. I call that very poor customer service. I simply responded to add extra shrimps to my order next time. I will not return to King Palace. I will return to my preferred local Chinese restaurant. I just will not order its fried rice that scared me away for a brief moment in time. read more

We love the food here! The building is in questionable state of repair, but the food is the best we've had anywhere outside of San Francisco's China Town. Our favorites: Sweet and sour chicken; cashew chicken; beef and broccoli; chicken with mixed veggies; shrimp with lobster sauce. It was great food & the next time NOT so good. We have been ordering from here for almost 5 years. The end product that they put out is different almost every time. Try their H & S soup loaded with mushrooms next time only a few. Chicken chow mien it was the best ever, next order was good, last order had no flavor at all. The Lemon Chicken dish I had today was absolute perfection. The ratio of coating to chicken was spot on, the accompanying vegetables (broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms, snow peas) were steamed perfectly, and the lemon sauce (served on the side) was the clear, light, bright, sunshine flavor that brings everything together beautifully. The steamed dumplings were delightful as well. Again, the ratio of filling to wrapper was right, and they were perfectly formed so they didn't not burst open and the savory flavor satisfied. We have been ordering King Palace for a few years now and it has always been one of our favorites. We ordered the other day for the first time in a while and my household agrees that they have gotten even better. The food isn't as saucy which was our only dislike before but still not bad by any means. The Krab Rangoon seems different too somehow, better, but different. Love this place . We always order from here , but tonight it was exceptional. My fussy 2yr old grandson ate more than I thought a 2yr old could. After every bite he said " oh so good." A disappointment that ended up being a favorite mistake. I went to this place expecting a buffet style restaurant. It turned out to be more of a takeout place instead with some chairs and tables. I was so unhappy at first. The huge parking lot looked deserted. We were both hungry. But what they hell, let's eat here anyway. Saw some teens eating outside - perhaps playing hooky. It was about 1 PM. On second guess, they are probably homeschooled, or they went to alternative school. The people inside were quiet, but they took our order and were very nice. The food was fresh and served fast. I loved my spicy pork dish. Very clean place inside of a beautiful and grand yellow shopping center that looks more like a two story mansion with a car port underneath the building. There were only two places opened in the shopping area. I heard the rent is $3000 a month - very high for such a small space. I spent some time in the shopping center's atrium's water fountain - very surreal - beautiful foliage. I'll be coming to this place again in the future. read more

Totally unprofessional. We ordered delivery. It took an hour and it came cold. My Pad Thai and it had a black hair on the lemon on top. I called to complain, she said that they will send me a new Pad Thai and refund my money and bring me my Won Ton soup I ordered, that I didn't get either. The driver showed up with just the soup. I called to ask where my Pad Thai is and she said no can do. She told me that "its not fair to have my money back and a new Pad Thai" After a yelling match, I have no dinner and horrible food and service. This is my favorite takeout Chinese place in Palm Coast! I found this place after being disappointed with several other takeout I've tried. Someone recommended this place and I gave it a shot and loved it. It's in a very unassuming location and its clean. I usually get chicken with broccoli and the sauce has great flavor. Stunk!! Bad Mother's Day meal!!! I only had the hot n sour soup last week it was so good..my son had boneless ribs and eggrolls delicious he said!! So he got me this for dinner today..Shrimp toast (burnt) crab ragoon almost no ragoon!! 6 eggroll burnt and were spring rolls!! My spicy sour soup i got small last week was soooo good i got the large today ..stupid move..had a half inch pure oil on top!!! A ton of mushrooms nothing else!!! Just mushrooms!! It's good, but nothing to write home about. Literally, after eating here I did not write home to tell anyone about it. However, having said that, I live in L.A. and we have awesome Chinese food out here. This is probably one of the better places in Palm Coast that you could get Chinese food. My momster and I decided takee outee was on the menu for din-din last night and took a chance on King Palace and tried a few new dishes, too. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, eggrolls, chicken meatballs, Singapore noodles (Mei Fun), Shrimp in Lobster sauce, Roast pork egg foo young and to our nice suprise, an order of spring rolls were thrown in for FREE! Deliver was made within the promised timeframe of 45 minutes (not bad for dinner hours) and the delivery girl was very nice. Ordering using Beyond Menu was convenient, but we ordered over the phone. It was easy and the person taking the order was polite and pleasant. Hot & Sour Soup is one of the best I've had. There is a savory flavor that's wonderful - probably because there were large slices of pork and even chicken in the soup that made it very good. Didn't know what to make of the chicken meatballs when we ordered them so I'll break it down for you - imagine fried wonton purses filled with perfectly spiced minced chicken. No sauce even needed ... these are craveable and should be on everyone's "try" list from here. The mei fun noodles were bountiful and delish. The shrimp in the shrimp in lobster sauce had a good bite to it and the flavor of this dish was mild overall (my first try) and once white rice and soy was added was tasty. Egg rolls and spring rolls were good. Egg foo young was good. Overall, fresh, generous, savory and the best I've found in town so far ... plus, they deliver!!!! What's not to love? HORRIBLE establishment, buyer beware, We live 10 minutes away from them and after over two hours and three phone calls we still did not have our food and when we called for the fourth time the woman insulted us by saying she would give us a 10% discount (mind you we had to tell her we were not paying full price, she did not offer the discount) then they showed up at our home at 10:10pm and tried to barter with us to still pay for the order, unbelievably HORRIBLE service. read more

This place is amazing. I got the sesame chicken and fried dumplings and was 100% satisfied. The dumplings on their own weren't that great, but with the provided sauce, I couldn't stop eating them!
