It seemed like they were out of a lot items even though it was prime lunch hours. Also some of the ingredients didn't look too fresh. For example, the blueberries and shredded carrots looked old and dried up. Anyways, I decided to get jerk chicken with mixed greens and had the option to choose 4 more items (cherry tomatoes, candied pecan, hard boiled egg and bell peppers). I decided to try the honey ginger dressing. The lady making my salad was very polite but did take some time to make the salad. Also, the place is called "Tossed Together" so I thought they would toss my salad in a bowl but they just gave me salad dressing on the side in small plastic container with foil on top. Had to be careful transporting it to my office so the dressing didn't spill over and get all over the place. The salad was good, but I wouldn't say it was $12.75 good. Portion was small for the price and as I've mentioned earlier, some of the ingredients didn't look fresh. I understand this place just opened up not too long ago, so they might be still working out their kinks so I'm willing to try this place out again maybe in a month or so.

But I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this gem. The owner is funny and witty and "tossed" together a yummy chicken chipotle salad wrap. It sounds boring but it's fantastic and the ingredients are so fresh. They have a nice assortment of wraps, salads, soups and fresh pressed drinks. Definitely about to be my go to for healthy delicious food.

My first experience at CE was a couple months, and while it was a good experience I was on a specific diet and could not partake in the entire menu (try the ramen!). On this second trip, I was eager to try something with protein. From entry to exit, my experience was a terrific one! There were ample parking spaces, the restaurant and the bathrooms were clean and shiny, and there were plenty of seating options. (Always check bathrooms as it's a reflection of how serious the restaurant is about sanitation and cleanliness). Angel, one of the team members was great - she welcomed me, assisted me with my menu-related questions, and was overall pleasant. She was knowledgeable with the menu which added to the service experience. I ordered a bowl with brown rice & roasted potatoes, sides of asparagus and glazed carrots, and the wild-caught salmon. Wild-caught salmon!? Wow! Not something typically offered in a quick-service style eatery. It was delicious! The roasted potatoes were deliciously seasoned with a good texture, the veggies were well-seasoned and cooked al dente, the rice did not have much flavor or seasoning, but I did not mind as the bowl was already packed with flavor and the rice was more for the carbs. I appreciate that the food is served restaurant sit-down style - served in a non-disposable bowl with actual silverware, and the food is brought to the table. When I finished my meal, another kind team member took my bowl. The service on my second trip was a far better experience. A nice finish would be a small assortment of freshly baked desserts. While I love chocolate chip cookies, I passed on trying CE's as it did not look appetizing. Overall, great experience! I will be back.

Good chicken sandos and more, tender and moist, from plain to super fiery!…read more In Sep 2025, Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken is about a year-old on Baltimore National Pike just west of St. Johns Lane. It's between a Chinese take-out and a used-sporting-good store, just a little east of the middle of the St. Johns Plaza strip mall. This location has seating for 40 or so in a brightly decorated space. There's plenty of parking right out front. It's my first time here, I was a little afraid of the "hangry" spice, but learned that the range of heat is by-request, so i got two "Jr." sandwiches: one no-heat to get a taste of just the chicken, and one medium. The chicken comes piping hot, two half-inch thick strips nearly twice as long as the 4-inch junior bun, which is a lot of food for their smaller size sandwich! It's tender and moist, with just a light chew. The coating is thin and lightly seasoned, drizzled with a mildly-sweet red-sauce. Good flavors. Theres a layer of fresh not-too-wet slaw and a couple of hearty pickle circles, both of which add some sweetness. The bread is lightly flavorful, just dense enough to hold everything together. The medium is the same generous tender moist sandwich. The red-sauce also seems the same. The coating on the chicken is where the spice is! It builds up quickly to a nice mouth-filling heat, and it adds zingy flavor without overwhelming with heat. The veggie layers of the sandwich help manage the heat. The chicken is very good and fresh-tasting, definitely tastier than the chicken at nearby fast-food burger joints. The range of heat is by-request, so us low- spice and no-spice folks can come here with I-wanna-burn folks, and everyone will hit their target. I think that anyone who likes even a little spice will want medium-heat or above. The junior-serving was huge and filling! This place is a win in flavor, quality, and quantity. It took about 5min to prepare, so order ahead on their app.

The slaw is more more sour/tangy slaw rather than the more sweet / mayo slaws (I like both styles, but it is good to have a different option). The fries are seasoned really well and crispy. The waffles are really good too, but more of a dense chewy batter rather than a light and airy battery. Service was fast too. No complaints here. Would definitely want to try more things on the menu next time.

They focus on fresh, healthy eats like wraps and salads, that are centered around mostly greens and healthy grains, with the protein options (mostly chicken) being secondary. We wanted something healthish to take with us to-go for our long 5+hr plane ride from BWI to SJC, because those Southworst snacks weren't gonna cut it. Nalley Fresh seemed like a great choice with their veg-heavy menu and low-fat proteins. The Good: *Service is friendly but curt--which I don't mind if you're handling your business like a boss, which they were. *Lots of premade healthy options for you to select from, or one can do a Chipotle-style á la carte pick your own adventure option for their salads, wraps, and bowls. *Prices are reasonable at around ±$12 (remember this is an airport) The Meh: *We both liked our options (I got the "Healthy" & the lil' lady got the "Greek") and overall they were decent but we both felt like they just needed a little more flavor, salt, or something. I did appreciate how they added some nuts and/or seeds for texture, which is something a lot of these places overlook. The Ugly: *The wraps were a bit messy to eat on the plane, but not terrible. Next time I'm going with a bowl or salad. Conclusion: Probably 3.5* overall, but since we'd most likely be back I'll bump it up to 4*.

Too bad the credit card option didn't have a tip option. He deserved it. Promote the dude.

When I went to pay, he was slouched down in his chair, still on his phone. They told us they could seat our party of 8, then split us across two separate tables. When our server, Hattie, asked if we were "together" with the other table, we said no -- by that point we were sitting completely separately with no way to even coordinate with each other. Despite that, she charged us the large party 20% automatic gratuity. Food came out at completely different times for each table (our table finished eating while the other was still waiting on their order), and drinks were brought separately too. When we brought up the large party gratuity given how mismatched the service was, Hattie brushed off everything we said and didn't address any of it. On top of all that, I found white hair in my food... to their credit, they did take it back and replace it without argument. They also only had paper cups, and the water tasted like it came straight from a hose, while the apple juice was watered down. I asked for a water refill twice and never got one. And to top it off, the food had no seasoning at all. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.
