    Delicious salad
    Leigh D.

Representing 2022 in alphabet series, N is for Nalley Fresh at BWI Airport. In January 2022, I traveled to Phoenix to meetup with my dad who was visiting. For lunch at BWI Airport, there's a big food court area with a lot of options, but mostly options I wasn't too enthusiastic about. I opted to go healthier and was familiar with Nalley Fresh as I had been to 3 locations in MD at that point. It's an assembly line of getting various ingredients to build your own salad, or you can select a specific type of salad. Salad was very good as always.

I stopped by here earlier today by myself for a late lunch. This Nalley Fresh is located in the A/B concourse area of BWI and as such, there's not too much to say about it. It has a counter area where you can order and see all of the ingredients, like at most fast casual restaurants, and then there is shared seating all around. For lunch on this day I decided to go with the harvest salad and chose Buffalo chicken as my protein. Total price pre-tax was $13.60, which for an airport I didn't think was bad at all. Nalley Fresh describes the harvest salad as Mixed Greens, Carrots, Celery, Almonds, Croutons, Mandarin Oranges, Apples, Cranberries, Wheat Berries, Bleu Cheese Crumbles, and a Nalley Fresh Raspberry Vinaigrette. It ended up being quite good and I loved the different sweetness and tart flavors of the fruits combined with the pungent blue cheese and super tart vinaigrette. Then the chicken was good too. It was tender, a little bit spicy, and not overwhelming. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my salad here and loved how healthy it felt while also not breaking the bank.

Like their name says, FRESH!! Lots of bases to start and salad topping items with soooo many choices!!! And so many dressings as well. Friendly staff. Can eat in or take out.

I think it's more challenging to eat healthy at the airport, not impossible, though healthy options aren't usually the first thing you see. After walking from security B down the line of fast food chains, I was pleased to find a healthier option in Nalley Fresh. I got the harvest salad and then made everything orange by selecting Buffalo chicken as my protein. Fair option, though I should have stuck with the grilled chicken. The salad was a good portion with good toppings like craisins, almonds, and bleu cheese. The server was looking at her phone while I scanned the menu-which has very small font- but as soon as I made my way up to the counter she put it down and asked me what I'd like. Within a few minutes I had my food and was looking for a table.

I like Nalley Fresh and I've been to other locations but the one at the airport has the rudest employees. I simply asked what kind of protein do they have since it's not listed anywhere on the menu and server made a face when I asked a simple question. I can see you so not sure if she hates her job but if they don't have any protein listed on the menu, people will ask. This visit to Nalley Fresh was so-so. I asked for a sweet potato bowl and I got a sweet potato that was the size of a shallot. I expected a larger sweet potato. In addition, they were skimpy on the arugula. And my total was $13.25. Not really sure what I paid for and definitely came with a side of attitude. The service definitely needs to be worked on. And the cashier spent his time talking to his buddy rather than engaging with the customers. If I would have known I was getting bad service, I would have gone elsewhere.

Who would've thought an airport salad could be so good, but it was exactly what o needed. It's my "go-to" when passing through BWI.

You can tell people really like this place. Lots of options on the menu. I went with the classic Eggs Benedict, which here comes with an interesting twist -- they add cheddar cheese. That was new to me. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle with sausage. They didn't ask patty or link, so we rolled the dice -- it came as links, and she wasted no time eating them. The waffle filled her up quickly. Fresh blueberries on top, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, and sweet in all the right ways. When my Eggs Benedict arrived, it looked a little small at first and the potatoes barely filled the plate. But don't let that fool you. What a flavor. What a presentation. The hollandaise was perfect -- thick enough that it barely dripped off the muffins. Once the creamy yolk broke and mixed into that sauce, it was game over. The cheddar addition actually works, giving the whole dish another layer of richness. This is top-tier classic Benedict. Coffee was solid, the atmosphere cozy, and the pricing surprised me in a good way. My daughter's meal was $5.99, with only a $0.75 upcharge for juice, which is hard to beat these days. Good service, good food, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat. We'll definitely be back!!!

I recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend morning. They had beignets as a special and those were tasty. A little crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside with powdered sugar on top. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was ok. Service was lackluster. We did not see our waitress after the food arrived and had to flag someone down to ask for the check. There was no butter in the table for toast- we asked a food runner in lieu of the waitress but did not get it.

Yelp Review 2026 #185:…read more I normally wouldn't trust airport sushi unless I'm in Japan. But I really wanted sushi after eating all sorts of Jamaican food during my vacation. BWI has two Gachi locations: one near B5, and one near A8. This one is near A8. After a terrible experience at another airport restaurant, I decided to grab food from here. At first, I wasn't sure if I went to the sit down restaurant or the grab and go. Both locations have tables and chairs and near other eateries. They both have grab and go food. So, at first, I grabbed two trays of sushi. As I was about to pay, I noticed a menu in front of the cashier so, I had to ask if they had actual fresh made-to-order sushi. And they did and I was told to grab a table and somebody will take my order. I put the sushi trays back. There's only one server and she was hiding behind the sushi counter. She seemed really shy. I waited patiently for her to take my order, give me water, etc. I only had 40 minutes left on my 2-hour layover and I still had to make it to the B gates to board. Sake Oshi Sushi: Pressed sushi with torched salmon, miso sauce, sushi rice, pickled ginger, jalapeno, and tempura crunch. The layer of rice is too thick. I had to eat the fish on top and skip the rice on a few pieces because it was just too much. This was on the sweet side and I'm not a fan of sweet sushi. The jalapeño slices still had seeds. 2.5/5 Salmon Nigiri: The quality of the fish was surprisingly good. The rice was compact and stayed intact. It was time to pay and the server was nowhere to be found and I had to leave. So, I just paid at the counter.
