First coffee shop we hit on our weeklong trip. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with dill cream cheese and my hubby got a breakfast burrito called the sunset, it had a million things in it and was THICK. Chorizo, tater tots, jalapeños and more. It stayed together perfect and we liked the hot sauce options they had there. We also got two drinks, iced matcha latte sweetened with simple syrup and a cold brew with the maple spice flavor. We liked our drinks but I didn't love the spice in the maple. I also would like to see them do some homemade coffee syrups to make them more original, since I have lots of monin syrups at home. The cold brew was smooth tho! We plan on coming back. It was really busy but I thought everyone working there was friendly. There's a rewards system too. And parking! What more can ya ask for. We will prob be back, tomorrow! This coffee shop is simply wonderful. The staff is hard working and friendly, the coffee is AMAZING, and the food is fresh and delicious. I love their iced coconut latte. It's yummy to mix mocha in as well for an almond Joy flavor. The smashed banana bowl is a must for yogurt parfait lovers. The homemade granola and vanilla yogurt with fresh fruit is to die for. Really great coffee and solid breakfast options with the collaboration with the kitchen. Breakfast burrito was solid. I was watching them cook it and they were grilling fresh cut veggies and potatoes and hoping the mixture was freshly beaten eggs vs some carton but believe it is considering how fresh it all tasted and hot sauces from yellow bird hit the spot. Rise Up Coffee is on the other side of the bridge in Ocean City, the best coffee/breakfast spot in the city. They have a wide range of drink and food options, all reasonably priced. We each got some food and a beverage. I got my usual Matcha which was creamy and very well done, my wife loved her coffee as well. She also got an everything bagel with cream cheese while I opted for the rise up breakfast burrito which was stellar, one of the best things we ate on our vacation. It was loaded with chorizo sausage, eggs, potato and cheese. You could also get it with avocado which I passed on, was even more delicious with each and every bite. I always appreciated that they had a bunch of hot sauces for those dining in to use, always a nice addition. Plenty of parking in the lot and a spacious amount of seating inside. Rise Up is the perfect breakfast spot for those looking to get a bite and some caffeine. read more

One day Ocean City trip and of course i had to stop by one of my favorite coffee spots! I enjoy drinking and eating out here, not going to lie. I live in the DMV area where everything is double the price. I love that i can get amazing coffee, smoothie, other blended options for such a bargain. What i would normally pay for your typically name brand like Starbucks for a large is what I can get for two large local and organic drinks at rise up. I love how this place looks so rustic like a farm. They have a lot of local baked items and very large and yummy soft cookies. Whoever they are sourcing the pastries from, they are doing it right! The cashier was very patient and friendly, i ordered drinks for the family so it was annoying me on my part already that we kept changing and adding things to the order. I am sure she was just as annoyed, but she didn't show it at all! So thank you nice redhead gal! Didn't catch her name, thank goodness they were not busy, but yeah it was 530pm on a Wednesday so i was very happy. My only issue is a did order a banana in my coffee banana smoothie that i did not taste in it. Other than that we all enjoyed our drinks and pastries! read more

I love this place! The coffee is so good & they have a lot of options! I usually get an iced coconut mocha but lately for a lighter option I've been getting a coconut latte. They have frozen coffee drinks as well which are nice treats when it is hot outside. Both are amazing!! I have been to several locations but they are mostly on the eastern shore & rehobeth beach in Delaware. You can also get food which is also very good! I love the fact that you can get turkey bacon as I don't eat pork. The location in Rehobeth beach even has a bar. If you go on the weekends prepare to wait because it's always crowded. The drinks came out quick but the food was a 45 minute wait but they let you know that up front. The person that took our order today was so organized & on point. Just had to nick a star as I got charged extra for cheese on the bagel which I didn't order or get and extra for bacon when I wanted it with none. If I could give this place 1000 stars, I would. It's THAT good. Our family member recommended this place and told us to try the coffee smoothie. Staff was friendly, place was spacious in seating and decorated for the holidays, and they offered suggestions for drinks. They have alternative milk options for those needing it! We got an iced gingerbread latte (half caf) with oatmilk and a white chocolate mocha smoothie with oatmilk. They told us there was traces of milk in the powder they use to make the smoothies, but it was fine by my hubby who was drinking it. They also make their own whipped cream in house. They use paper straws with pretty cups and offer mobile ordering. Very Instagrammable place and I loved every moment. My iced coffee was perfection. Smoothie was the right consistency. We frequent Ocean City almost monthly from the DC area, but whenever we're here we're sure to stop at Rise Up. We've been to a handful of locations between Salisbury and OC--all with the same fantastic service and coffee! Coffee: Their coffee is always 100%, and I love that the sizes are huge! As a coffee lover, I can never get enough. There are tons of options for drinks and added flavors, and there are also a lot of great non-dairy options. My go-to is the vanilla latte with almond milk, while my boyfriends is the cold brew with caramel. Mad Eggs/Food: The last few times we've also gotten Mad Eggs breakfast, too! I wish there was a Rise Up/Mad Eggs in DC! I always order the Rise Up Burrito and it's always fantastic. Perfect filling size, flavorful and balanced ingredients. I added onions and sour cream, which I recommend. They also have a great selection of hot sauces (habanero is my favorite)! My boyfriend ordered the same, but without the avocado or sour cream and he loved it, too. We previously have ordered the biscuit sandwich, which was good but nothing crazy special. Service/environment: Usually about 30 minutes for food, I recommend ordering ahead on your phone. Coffee is always quick to order there, though. The merch is so cool, I'm always tempted to buy but haven't yet! And this location has very cute high top and bar tables, with one of those little garage doors that can be open for an indoor/outdoor feel. But the biscuit - yum, chef's kiss to that! Seasonal coffee was good. Nothing to really write home about, but in fairness it was 11am and maybe wasn't the best batch of the morning by then. I'd be willing to try it again for science testing purposes. I think the main highlight for me was the atmosphere. Very open, kind of industrial-feeling, gorgeous wood furniture. The service was also quite friendly - always appreciated. I liked that there were separate tip jars for the barista side vs the kitchen side. I'm sure that could be off-putting to some, but as a bartender, I appreciate the opportunity to split the tips right away as opposed to wondering who gets what at closing time. read more

My friend raved about Rise Up Coffee so we made the trek from OC to West OC on 4th of July weekend... it's only about 5 miles away but took us 45 minutes with traffic. We placed an order online at 10:30 and it said that the order wouldn't be ready until 11:40... it kind of messed with our morning plans but we figured they were busy. When we finally got there it really wasn't busy so I didn't understand the 1 hr + wait time. It kind of rubbed me the wrong way that we had to change our morning plans when we probably could have showed up as a walk-in and gotten our stuff much quicker. Horrible customer service. I waited in line for 15 mins. When I got to the register I tried to order an açaí bowl and a breakfast sandwich, but I was told it would be "a 45 minute wait for food". I suggested they should at least put a handwritten sign on the entrance door informing customers the wait for food would be an hour, just so people do not waste their time waiting in line to even get to the register. They told me "no if there is a line I should assume there's a wait for food." Yes I realized I would have to wait, but why would anyone think it would take almost an hour for simple breakfast food, even when it's busy? It doesn't take much effort to hand write a sign and tape it to the door. Once I walked to the other side of the restaurant I saw how dirty and messy this place is. Haven't done a review in a while so let's get to it. Very clean and decorative as soon as you walk through the door. You are greeted with a shelf full of merch and store brand coffee which gives the place a pleasant good morning vibe to it. My order of "the local" breakfast burrito came out to exactly $10 dollars. How nice of someone to finally get rid of change, like just make everything come out to even dollars already, its 2023 for f*ck sakes. They're progressive here, just like their bathroom signs. Their toilets are dark grey, not sure why I found that so appealing vs the traditional white. Okay i got my $10 burrito.. its pretty small. No bigger then the size of dollar bill but wow its so good. And the salsa verde is just on another level. Trust me, I'm from southern california, I know my Mexican food and salsa very well. If you've ever had Sancho's Taco's salsa verde in southern california, that's what the salsa verde here is like. They add a sweet savory kick to it and it's addicting. Except here at rise up cafe, the sweetness is toned down a bit, which i prefer because the salsa verde at Sancho's tacos is a bit on the sweeter side, but still very good. The only complaint is the burrito is super small. I would need 2 and or possibly even 3 to get full, which would make it more like a $20 dollar meal, but hey.. this is just one of those places where you are coming for quality and sacrificing quantity. 5 out of 5 stars. read more
