The Seafood was okay! In my opinion the sauce didn't have as much taste as I would have liked. The mussels was cooked a little too long and the corn was mediocre. Now, the saving grace was the crab legs, potatoes and shrimp. Surprisingly these were my favorite and it was cooked to perfection. What a great way to spend a Friday night. The seafood is fresh, the flavored sauce was tasty but not overpowering, and the dining room was clean and fun with karaoke style videos playing. We had the #4 and a 1 lb of dungeoness crab for 3 people and it was more than enough. There is a liquor store in the same plaza so the adults had a crisp beer while the newly minted 18yr old had soda. This was all of our first times to a "boil" place and we really had a blast. The only complaint I had was that the squid used were "grown-ups" rather than "baby squid". Therefore, they were thicker and chewier than I prefer. I ordered #1 Choice Combo. Crawfish, shrimp, snowcrabs and clams. I got the garlic sauce, mild. The crawfish were yummy. Shrimp and snow crabs were delish as well. Clams were larger than I prefer. I didn't expect "Little Neck" clams, but these were big guys and quite tough due to their size. The corn and potatoes were delicious "sauce soakers"!!! The restaurant was spotless. Sunday lunchtime, but it was empty and no one was there to greet us... waited 5 minutes... oh, there's a bell. Rang it and got seated near the back. Huge place, very orange, looks Chinese owned. Menu makes it easy. Choose your own by the pound (market prices listed up front) or pick a combo and add to it. It took a long while before the waitress came to take our order, but we got a fried calamari to start, all of the #4, another half pound of king crab legs, and more veggies for our party of 4. Oh and of course we opt for the BOOMX3 sauce (but only mild because yeah... me pansy). They give you the whole kit. Bibs, gloves, two types of utencils each, and trash bin. Some places you have to pay extra for them. We took some "before" pictures but the "after" ones are much more satisfying. Sauce and food seafood and everything was top notch. Loved the calamari. Loved the shrimp and the legs and the crawfish (been awhile since I left the south). Loved the potatos and the corn even! Fresh and delicious and we managed to eat everything edible in that bag. Seafood boil is always a vibe. First and foremost: it's is BYOB (but there's a liquor store next door!) so make sure you have your drinks before you order. They do have soft drinks if that's more up your alley. The food is always good. I usually get snow crab and add garlic sauce. It is really great! They also have a good playlists playing. The inside looks kinda like an old beat up Arthur treatures or something similar...however, battle through the generic restaurant look and order something, you will not be unhappy. We started with a half dozen oysters: and while I'm not sure what KIND of oysters they were, they were VERY clean, meaty, and delicious. We followed that up with combo #2 - 1/2 lb king crab, 1/2 lb crawfish, 1 lb shrimp, a handful of mussels and clams, 2 half ears of corn and 2 small potatoes. Order the boom sauce - you will be happy (options are a garlic butter, a cajun, or a butter sauce...boom is a combination of all three - we also ordered medium spicy level and the spice was barely detectable). The food was delicious. Be aware: crawfish and shrimp both come in all their shelled glory so you will be doing some work (shrimp have heads: if you have kids with you, prepare them - their food WILL be looking at them). The mussels were really exceptional: HUGE and tasty. We're two big people and we left full for about 74 bucks including tip. We will absolutely be returning. Wonderful place, came to celebrate my mom's birthday 9/24. They accompanied 21 of us in the back room. They had tables set up and ready for us. We all ordered appetizers to start and then our seafood boils. I was very disappointed that they did not have any fresh crawfish at all but took the frozen one instead and you can tell the difference in the quality and taste of it. The place was pretty much empty. Aside from my friend and I, there was no one else seated. We received prompt attention, placed our order (1/2 pound of shrimp each). Note that corn on the cob and a potato cost extra unless you order at least 2 pounds of sea food. At other places, it's automatically included - even with a half a pound of shrimp. Overall, the food was okay. No raving, but good. Prices are a bit lower than two other seafood boil places I've been. It's clean and convenient. This was my first time at Seafood Boil. It's a little hyped. The flavor was okay, and you couldn't taste the flavor in every bite, only from the outer portions of the food if that makes sense. Still good though. This place is BYOB so that made up for some short comings. I'll add that I believe my meal was a tad overcooked. First time trying this place and I have to say it's actually pretty good and fairly well priced .service is very quick and we really enjoyed our food. My daughters dug in eating their snow crab legs crawfish and shrimp. Combo 1 and combo 3 with BOOM sauce/ mold was just right as far as the heat was concerned and the garlic solo is very good .
