What can you improve? For one thing, your hours of operation! I haven't eaten at Golden corral in a long time. I went recently on the weekend and they opened at 7:30. When I showed up at 8:15 this morning, they were not open. I was told they did not open until 9:30 AM on weekdays. 7:30 AM is for weekends! It makes no sense to me at all why a place that serves breakfast would not open until 9:30 AM in the morning on weekdays! By this time, most people are at work! 04.12.25 stopped by this location for breakfast this morning, met up with a friend who lives in the area. i dont know why all golden corrals arent made the same, this is one of the lcoations that doesnt cook the bacon all the way. to me, bacon should be fully cooked and crispy, not soggy and greasy. the pork chops were burned, and something went thru me, for before i could finish my meal, i had to run to the bathroom. also, a lot of staff/waitresses, were sitting and eating, and also getting up once new customers came in and sat, and they would serve them, with drinks, and asking if they needed anything else, then they would go back to their table and continue eating and chit chatting. i never saw them wash their hands before getting customer drinks. the cashier does deserve some extra credit, for she seemed to be the only one working overtime. this lady was ringing up customers, answering phones, and getting drinks for customers, and making sure the drink station area up front was spic and span clean. i didnt get her name, however, she had short hair and glasses, very nice lady, for she also greeted everyone good morning, and said goodbye to everyone exiting, and wishing them a great day. read more

"Manager" Zack, worst customer service ever encountered... waited for my entire family to pay to approach my cousin visiting from out of the country to kick him out because he didn't showed proof of his service dog being a service dog... by DOJ (Department of Justice) staff members are not allowed to ask for any proof about my service dog being a service dog... ADA backs up this statement... when he requested our receipt to "refund" my cousin (he doesn't speak English) told him that he will get the receipt and the "Manager" Zack told him "I guess you don't want a refund then" I approached the Manager to explain the situation, his response was "I don't take advices from a customer, I'm the manager".... Yes, it is true what I read here in yelp. This Golden Corral is better than the others that we have dined in. There are items that we have not seen before as well as many of the favorites. The area for dining is quite ample and the service is better than expected. Additionally, soft drinks were included in the price between 1 PM and 3 PM. I purchased two chicken sandwiches, on 9/18/2025 I paid, and left Subway, I returned 30 minutes later to inform them that my husband had gotten sick from the sandwich. The cashier stated that she would have to call her manager to approve any refunds. After the phone call, she informed me that the owner/manager had refused to give a refund or make another sandwich. This is the WORST GC in the 7 states I travel. The food quality was horrible. Half the food was terribly overcooked, the rest was cold. Service was equally bad. We were halfway done with our meal when the server came to see if we needed anything to drink. I've never been to Wendy's but I saw a commercial on TV about their butter chicken biscuits and I thought if they were served all day or only at breakfast so I tried to look it up. I went to the app and looked it u and I actually saw about 30 horrible reviews for the store on Dowlen Road and I didn't even complete my search because there was not even one that was anywhere near passing the point of no return with a fair review. So I suppose I will never go to Wendy's. There are other locations here in my city but I'm almost positive that they are no better because if management has seen the reviews for the one closest to me the others are too far to drive for some awful food and service that management should be tending to replace the really bad workers and cleaning up the joint. Speaking of which I've also been told that the one near me smells of dirt and smoke that doesn't come from cooking or smoking legal cigarettes. This is by far the best Golden corral I've ever been to. 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon there's always potential for old food on the bar. Not at this location fresh food and lots of it. Everything from noodles and spicy chicken to Mexican food to pasta to the traditional faves. I am not normally a fan of a Golden corral, but we were here in Beaumont and wanted something that we wouldn't have to wait for preparation. I love a buffet because my husband and I have such varied taste and this is perfect for us however usually Golden corral is not our go-to buffet destination. Living in Vegas for 20 years we have pretty high standards on a buffet. This one hit all the marks. Ok, I never finished my review from first visit, so I'll just tag onto this one. Second visit in a week and still amazing. A manager went to Several tables to ask how everything was going, completely blown away . I've been to sit down dine in full service restaurants where managers never leave their offices to check on customer satisfaction. Super impressed with this golden corral. Walter was our server on Saturday night, 7pm. Great team effort all around. I even saw a second manager sweeping. This golden corral will be our go to place in Beaumont. read more

It's good for what it is, a chain buffet restaurant..I'd stay away from the Chinese food, chickens hard as rocks and the fries rice is soaked in soy sauce. After having a bad experience at a different GC location I was a little unsure of how things would be when I stopped in for the buffet here. But I must say I am glad that I did. This place was VERY clean and well kept. The buffet had excellent selections and everything was as fresh as you can expect from a buffet. They even had 6 different selections of Blue Bell Ice Cream to go along with the dessert bar. I don't know how things changed so drastically when Golden Corral moved to this new location. In their old location, they were pretty horrible and not exactly sanitary. OK people, despite that I"m Vietnamese, I don't do buffets, let alone asian buffets. But, this particular Golden Corral isn't too shabby. They have a wide selection of dishes ranging from a full salad bar to mexican food to american. They also have different types of bread, and even corn bread. They switch out old trays with new ones, so the food is always fresh! I have to admit, most buffets that I've been to in the past, their deserts kind of bomb, but they have a variety of Blue Bell icecreams and fresh cakes and cookies. The chocolate chip cookie was actually my favorite (GO FIGURE) because it was fresh, moist and soft. *MmMm* Anywho, if you have to cheat, do it right and eat at Golden Corral. read more

Very nasty!!! Had to sort through several plates to get clean ones, there were lots of plates stacked on the side where others had done the same thing, and this happened several times during the meal and dessert plates/bowls as well.
