    Vanilla tres leches cake
    Misty C.

I came in late on Sunday evening needing to buy a tres leches cake for the next day and after having no luck checking 2 other bakeries, thankfully, Su Pan had one of each of their three variations in stock. Between tiramisu, mocha, and vanilla tres leches I wanted to buy them all, but ended up getting vanilla. I refrigerated the cake overnight and brought it to work the next day. My coworkers are picky with their tres leches and I was worried that it wouldn't be milky enough, but when we cut into it, the cake maintained its structure and didn't fall apart, but when you bite into the cake, it was so wonderfully milky and delicious still. My coworkers said the vanilla tasted more like caramel or dulce de leche and it was so tasty. Thank you, Su Pan, for saving me from buying a tres leches from Costco!! So happy with how it tasted and everyone at work loved it. I dream about this cake still after a whole week since eating it. I will definitely be back!

    Cuban torta yum

Kind of a hidden spot, as these spaces don't have a ton of advertising but they should because the food is bussin. Been on a Cuban torta search and this one took the cake. So good!!!! Definitely recommend, the sauce they use is absolutely delish. The sweet bread is great too, tastes very good and there's a nice variety here even cake pastries as well. I'll try them on another visit. Pricing was decent considering other spots, can't complain too much. Service was fast and the cashier lady was really nice! Loved this visit and will come again!

    Pork Pozole
    Jack M.

I stopped in for an early lunch at Su Pan Bakery, which is a bakery, but also offer savory food items. For example, the tasty and spicy bowl of pork pozole I enjoyed. The soup was definitely rich and came with a good amount of tender pork in the form of chunks. The hominy was plentiful, and the soup offered a good spice. No additional hot sauce was needed for this one. The soup came with a side of shredded cabbage, sliced radishes, and several crispy tostadas, not to mention the wedge of lime. All of them were great eating in combination with the soup. In addition to all the Mexican baked goods, they make tacos, burrito, soups, and tortas. Service was friendly..

The taro bingsoo was super light and fluffy. Not overly sweet, which I actually appreciated. It's definitely a good shareable dessert, especially if you want something refreshing instead of heavy. The taro with creme brulee was the standout for me though. The layers were really pretty, and once mixed, it had that creamy taro flavor with a slight caramelized richness from the brûlée topping. It felt a little more elevated than your typical taro milk tea.

I asked why what was being offered didn't match what was advertised on the menu. The employee looked at me like I was the one speaking nonsense, then hit me with a shrug and, "I don't make the rules." Cool. You may not make the rules, but someone sure made this menu--and apparently nobody bothers to make sure it matches reality. If your customers need a decoder ring to figure out what's actually available versus what's printed, that's not a customer problem. That's a business problem. Do better. Or at the very least, update the menu so it stops catfishing people. Seriously... WTF."

Because when I want the really good stuff, I make it myself in my Lello 4080 Musso Lussino Ice Cream Maker. Yeah, the ice cream that maxhine produces is positively divine. But when I want the good stuff without all the prep & cleanup, Wynston's is where I'm going. The quality is top notch & the creatve flavors they come up with are amazing. Service is always friendly. My favorite way to enjoy Wynston's is the ice cream flight with 4 small scoops of different flavors. While parking right in front of the place is often taken, there's a free garage nearby they validate for. So, if you love you some ice cream, head on over to Wynston's. You can take it from someone who makes their own frozen sweet creamy confections, Wynston's is the really good stuff.

When I walked in, the kiosks weren't working, so ! waited at the front for someone to take my order. Instead, all I could hear was an older lady loudly screaming at one of the employees. It was loud enough that I could hear everything from the front counter, and it honestly gave me secondhand embarrassment. The employee was being embarrassed in front of everyone in the store, which made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of the confusion, I ended up ordering through their website instead. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing. They added a huge scoop of strawberry syrup that completely overpowered the drink. I went there to try Matcha Maiko's matcha, not a cup full of strawberry syrup. On top of that, the syrup wasn't even mixed in properly, so l kept getting mouthfuls of syrup at the bottom I was really looking forward to trying this place, but between the uncomfortable experience in the store and the poorly made drink, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for.
