I had my doubts forever ended up going in on a whim best decision ever the regular menu is good but the "other menu" OMG yes I had chilli here one of f the best I ever had having the roasted tomato soup more than delish. This is probably one of the worst eateries I have gone to in my life . It was filthy, there was one waitress in the whole place , and the service took an hour and a half for a table of four mind u we got just one entree each . The food was absolutely inedible we all didn't touch it because we were sure we would get food poisoning . That whole area of Nashua is sketchy. Wow. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Kung Gua Chicken with absolutely no chicken in sight. Should have been called Kung Gua Veggie and even at that, not very good. I would give this place -6 stars if I could but one star is the best I can do. I should've use the fact that this place has shoe size as a hint into what to expect. We ordered food at 6 o'clock being towed. There was going to be about 45 minutes to an hour. When we were looking into the progress they had ended had been delivered eight minutes, previous and left outside in 35° weather expecting to snow. We brought the food inside and realize they gave us no sauces to go with any of the food we ordered. The pictures are posted speak volumes over the trash. They're serving at this restaurant. Every time I try a new Chinese restaurant I get some General tso's chicken. To me that's the gold standard besides crab rangoons. If you fuck those up I'm not going to trust you with anything else. This place doesn't believe in vegetables lol You know when you order a general tso's chicken dish at a Chinese restaurant they usually throw in a piece of broccoli or two with some chopped peppers in the sauce just to make you feel not as bad for making unhealthy decisions? Holy moly dude, this place was terrible, ordered the shrimp chow mein and various other items for delivery, we live 7 minutes down the street, and had it delivered just for convenience, but it took at least an hour and a half to get to us ,when it was delivered the receipt had a hand written note on it that said "no tip" as to say "yeah these guys didn't tip we should not make their food good" or whatever but mind you we had also tipped the driver $10 cash in hand, the chow mein was literally just bean sprouts that looked like they had been boiled, with like 2 little shrimp that looked like they had been boiled as well, we didn't want to eat this, so we went to to the restaurant, and tried to get our money back because we had just spent $45 on this "meal". When we get there the lady at the register, was not giving us eye contact being very rude, she wasn't even trying to help, when we showed her the chow mein, she was like " yeah looks right to me" "chow mein has no noodles, you got it confused with lo mein". Boy ain't no way, Ive had chow mein before I am an asian individual, me and my girlfriend looked at each other with confusion and shrugged it off, okay whatever, we just want our money, and the lady said she couldn't do anything, because we ordered it through the website instead of calling, we were talking for like 5 mins and then the bartender; a white lady comes from behind the bar and ask us whats the matter, the lady from before then decides to stop communicating with us even though we are 2 feet apart, and somehow she is making less eye contact than before and has her back turned, the bartender then tells us the same thing and says we have to dispute the charge on our side, okay cool, so we leave and the bartender says have a good one all while the lady behind the register has not said a thing and still has her back turned, oh well. We'll never see her again so I guess it was nice remembering what her back looked like. This place could for sure improve. read more

This was a delivery order. First the woman on the phone was abrupt and kind of rude. Gets irritated that we are paying cash. She says it will be 30 to 35 minutes. No problem there. An hour later someone else calls from there and said they dont have a driver to bring it. They are literally 10 min down the road. We are staying at a hotel for the weekend and dont have a car with us. Maybe they didn't want to deliver to hotel, I don't know. But if that is the reason they should have said from the start and not an hour later. read more

We ordered at around 4 pm tonight (New Years Eve) and were quoted 1.5-2 hrs. 2 hours later we picked it up. The woman working at the front was apologetic to anyone for the wait (not her fault). I've literally never had 'bad Chinese food EVER in over 45 years (some very mediocre), but the food quality was awful. Mu Hot & Sour soup was literally inedible & my main course not much better. The Fried Rice is truly NOT fried rice but they surely charged a lot for it. I wanted to find another place to eat Chinese Food well this place is not it. The Boneless spareribs were lacking sauce and the sauce given on the side was watery and lacked flavor. The only good part of the meal were the Spring Roles. To sum up the food from this place in three three words, Salty, Soggy, & Sad. So this past Saturday night (Sunday AM if you want to be technical) after calling it quits late night doing Uber Eats, I felt like having Chinese food. It was late and by the time I would've made it to my take out go to New Nan King in Hudson, it would have been closed. Enter Golden Dragon, open 'till 1:30 AM, Woohoo. I looked at their menu online and order 2 of their dinner specials, shrimp with lobster sauce with chicken wings and boneless spareribs along with General Gau's Chicken with chicken teriyaki and crab Rangoon. Both with pork fried rice. The guy who answered the phone was pleasant. The shrimp with lobster sauce was salty beyond anything I've tasted, the boneless spareribs were limp and felt like rubber, the wings were soggy and had no crunch to them as well. The General Gau looked like a mix of chicken chunks and tenders drenched in a bland brown sauce sprinkled with some red pepper flakes, a soggy mess. The crab Rangoon had very little of the (imitation) crab meat and onion. The sour cream was season with some sort of yellow curry powder giving it and off putting yellow color and strange flavor. The chicken teriyaki was actually okay, and oh, the pork friend rice was also salty. If you ever order from this place, ask for extra duck sauce, you will need it to combat the overwhelming saltiness. However, I would not recommend this place. read more

I knew I made a fatal mistake after my credit card was swiped and the oder of bleach and stale cigarettes hit me. It became apparent that this was less of a restaurant and more of a local watering hole for the less than fortunate downtown residents. Oh Boy. The food here is godawful! Throwing out Chinese take-out food usually consists of me scavenging my fridge for weeks old fried rice, not a heave-haw 10 minutes after arriving home! I have a strong inkling that the waitress is also the cook. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. They didn't even bother using jasmine rice in their recipe! What a waste of money and food. read more

Yesterday I had to call regarding uncooked chicken that I got in my order. The lady I spoke with on the phone was actually incredibly nice, and helpful. I called in to let them know about the uncooked chicken I received. On the phone she even told me she was sick of the fact that this keeps happening to people! So clearly it's an issue... She then asked me if I wanted to proceed with a refund or a replacement. I said I wasn't interested in a replacement since I got food poisoning from eating uncooked chicken. She said she totally understood and that given the situation they could give me a full refund. She talked to the manager and came back to the line and let me know I would need to contact BeyondMenu since I ordered online but that they would call the restaurant to confirm. So I did this. BeyondMenu issued me a full refund for the order. Cool! The photo attached is the chicken in question. After I noticed I looked up their information to give them a call. They weren't open but I was able to see the reviews and not many good ones at that. Wish I read the reviews before ordering. I ended up throwing ALL of the food away because why would I eat that? Numerous reviews and conplaints about uncooked food or bugs in food. GROSS. Come to find out... the business is going around to the customers and friends talking badly and accusing me of lying from a photo I shared in a facebook community post. Guess they really didn't want people to know they f'd up. I got HUNDREDS of comments AGREEING with me, and warning me to steer clear from this restaurant. Until one nasty man commented on it repeating the restaurant owners lies about what had actually happened. This is completely unacceptable. I was going to leave everything as it was since I got my refund and it was resolved. However since the restaurant wants to be nasty and spread rumors about their customers and make up lies to better their situation, I will just go ahead and leave reviews and comments EVERYWHERE I see fit. This local staple has been around for as long as I can remember and the quality has declined steadily. Lucky for them. They are open late and are sometimes the only edible option. Over the weekend, I stopped for lunch at Golden Dragon, which is located at the south end of Globe Plaza near KFC. As I walk in, I could see all of the action was happenin' in the dark cocktail lounge and the main dining room to the right was deserted. The cocktail lounge was full of middle aged folks. The dine-in menu has 2 full pages with an extensive selection of cocktails, wine, hard liquor, and beer. Most drinks are under $5 and their scorpion bowl (with rum, brandy & gin) is around $6. I can't attest to the mixed drinks, but the drinks must be really strong here because the bar patrons sounded really sh-faced. They were crooning along to old classic rock & roll tunes from the digital jukebox really off-key and off-pitch, slurrred speech. It was so painful and depressing to hear. I was definitely getting my food to go. A host did come out to take my order. Anyways, I got my food brought out in under 10 minutes. I had Lunch Combo 5 ($6.95 plus tax): Pork Lo Mein, Pork Fried Rice, 2 Beef Teriyakis, and Crab Rangoons, served with dinner roll. The portion of food was pretty generous and on the greasy side. The lo mein was good, which had some water chestnuts for crunch. The fried rice (tan colored) and crab rangoons were decent. The beef teriyakis were tender and juicy. When I moved to Nashua 2 years ago, I was thrilled to find a Chinese Restaurant within a mile from my house. I have gotten food there occasionally and thought it was not very good. On Saturday I was in the mood for soup and eggrolls. I thought they couldn't mess this up. I ordered a small wonton soup and hot and sour soup ($5 for a pint - way over priced ) and 2 egg rolls. I was told it would take 10 minutes. OK. So 25 minutes later She brought them out. When I got home I found the eggrolls were cold and the wonton soup looked odd. Some of the friendliest bartenders I have ever come across. The drinks are good and it's the best Chinese food I have found in Nashua so far. The shrimp and lobster sauce was legendary and the crab Rangoon was something to write home about. The bar is basically a hole in the wall sort of establishment, but it's just my style. Stopped in about a month ago to pick up some "spicy chicken fingers" and have a drink in the lounge. The lounge itself is pretty grim, lacking any sort of attractive decor or personality, just a long rectangular room with a TV at the end and not much lighting. It has its regulars, though, and the bartender -- a young, tall Asian man -- was attentive and poured a good-tasting mai tai that had a little kick to it. Seems like the kind of place one would be calling a cab from. Re: the "spicy chicken fingers": I had expected something like traditional (that is, typical Polynesian-style) deep-fried chicken fingers with some spicy batter. Instead, I got a quart of something resembling Hon Sue Gai, deep-fried chicken tenders in sauce with peppers and onions and maybe a few other vegetables. While it wasn't exactly the guilty-pleasure finger food I had expected, it was quite delicious and filling. A nice surprise, on the whole (though difficult to eat in the car on the way home). This place ain't fancy, but my experience is that the food is good (if a slight bit out of the norm for cheap Chinese cuisine) and the lounge, while spartan, could be fun in the right frame of mind. read more
