What a great find! 5 star food and service! I ordered the 4 Piece Fresh Soft Rolls and Chicken Satay appetizers for an early dinner. The soft rolls of fresh vegetables arrived beautifully plated complete with a flair of real banana leaf. It was fresh and delicious. The chicken satay arrived beautifully plated as well in a reasonable time thereafter. I was pleasantly surprised by the four generous chicken breast filets. The lightly marinated meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. The peanut sauce and pickled cucumber were perfect accompaniments. As other meals were delivered to nearby tables I couldn't help but notice the delicious smells and equally impressive presentations. I must also mention my wonderful sever. Food was delicious! I always order pad Thai so I have some standards and expectations. The peanuts were cooked while it was cooking rather than raw scattered on top of the mix afterwards. The flavor was slightly different than other pad Thai but it was very pleasant and something a little different. I didn't have room for dessert but the menu options looked delicious. Thoroughly lovely time. Upon entering you're treated to an explosion of plants and flowers, all healthy and well cared for. Beautiful way to start off. Inside, it's large and nicely designed. Definitely a step up from the standard one most usually finds. Everyone is smiling and friendly and the booth are spacious and clean. You're given a complimentary bowl of prawn crackers with a mild sauce on the side. Very crisp and tasty. After a taste of the Pinot Grigio we ordered a glass, the lobster roll special, pad kee mao with tofu and Thai crab rice. First to arrive was ... lobster rangoon. I immediately said we'd ordered a different appetizer and it was whisked away with no fuss. Then our waitress (Pia) came by to apologize and refilled the cracker bowl. A few minutes later our lobster rolls arrived. Quite huge - bigger for sure than expected. Light and delicious. A very nice fusion of Thailand and Maine lobster. We were told the owner lived in Maine and the lobster comes down fresh. You can taste the reality of that. The Thai crab was mild (as stated on the menu) and savory. My pad kee mao was listed as 2 chilis (heat indication) and I chatted with Pia about heat scales. After that we upped it to a 3 out of 5 and it was great that way. DEFINITELY if you're from the Midwest you should go for a 1 but if you're accustomed to spice from Thai or Indian or Mexican cuisine and like it, 3 is just fine. The flavor was excellent and the portions of both entrees were quite generous. So much so that after the big lobster appetizer we managed a bit less than half of each and doggy bagged the rest. But our doggy, sadly, won't be enjoying them tomorrow. It's reserved for the grownups! Went here with a small group of friends for a delicious dinner! They are a relatively large restaurant with ample seating, and we were towards the back where it was nice and quiet so we could have great conversations! Conversations! The service was relatively fast and friendly, and they left a pitcher of water on the table so we could stay hydrated. We all got the chicken satay appetizer which was so much larger than I expected! Their peanut sauce was absolutely delicious and the chicken was flavorful and juicy! I also had the chicken lettuce wraps which were delicious and nice and light! I got a taste of the pad Thai which was very nice as well and a large portion! Their prices seemed a little bit high but the portion sizes were enormous so it's definitely worth it! First time there, on 12/31 early dinner. Because it is in the corner of the plaza, you don't realize how large it is until you walk in. Busy enough to feel like people liked going there. Ate in, at a booth. All servers were on the ball and pleasant. Ordered noodles with beef, chicken satay and crispy vegetable rolls. Everything was hot and delicious. For the satay, they give you 4 large pieces of chicken breast for only $11. The house tea was okay, more like orange pekoe and not very hot. We love Thai food and have been cooking Thai food for many years. This was our first visit but it won't be our last! We tried the summer special app-fried pork belly with seaweed and cucumber salad along with the papaya salad (medium spice, he said it was a 3 on a scale of 1-5). The pork belly is not really my jam but my husband sliced some thinner for me and it was good with the salads. The papaya salad was just the right , didn't kill us but was a tad challenging. Tomato chunks (pale) and a couple of thick cucumber slices were helpful to tone down the spice and of course peanuts on top . The salad consists of shredded green papaya on a bed of lettuce for the base. We will definitely order it again. For an entree, we split the fried haddock ginger dish which was good. They had a spicy version too which I would order next time because we love spicy and we ended up using some of the papaya salad dressing to spice it up. Their dishes are a little bit on the pricier side, but you get high quality and well executed classic thai dishes, especially if you dine in. They're also very professional and hospitable when serving you, from the moment you walk in and the time you leave. Even for takeout, I've had great service. Some of the dishes I love here are Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles). Super delicious and perfect in terms of texture and flavor though I usually end up wanting a larger portion! Inside is spacious and modernized with comfortable booths, not your typical setting at a thai eatery. In conclusion, I definitely recommend K'Sone's when dining in for thai food. We love Thai food so we jumped at the opportunity to try this new Thai restaurant in Nashua. Our first impression was that this restaurant is huge compared to most Thai restaurants, nearly 4x to 5x the size. Due to its size, there is quite a bit of distance between your table and the next. It occupies the space of an old Chinese restaurant that had been there for 30+ years. The inside has been tastefully remodeled to modern standards but they decided to keep the interesting old ceiling and paint it brown. We ordered from the dinner menu since the lunch specials are not available on Saturday. The owner told us that all dishes are cooked to order. I ordered ground pork with basil and my wife ordered tofu with green vegetables. Both dishes came with white rice. We ordered them four out of five stars for hotness. The dishes came out and they were works of art. My wife said her dish tasted very good and she gave it five stars. She cooks great Thai food herself, so that was a nice compliment. Mine had a nice balance of spiciness and hotness. We both thought the dishes could be a little hotter so our waitress brought out more hot sauce for us. I spent some time talking to one of the owners who is not Thai. However, his wife is Thai. She is the head chef and the restaurant bears her name. His wife and her sisters own Thai restaurants from Massachusetts to Maine. The couple who own this Nashua restaurant also owns another Thai restaurant in Freeport, Maine so they have experience. If there is a downside, it is the lack of lunch specials on Saturday. With all of the competition in Nashua, they may be forced to offer then at some point in the future. We were very pleased with our lunches and plan to return for many more visits. read more
