My family likes the crab rangoons, lo mein, and beef teriyaki from here. The lo mein is a little bit smoky in just the right way and you don't feel the usual sluggish-ness that other lo meins give you after you're done eating which is a plus! The beef teriyaki is pretty yummy I just don't have it in the pic for this order. We would order trays of crab rangoons from here for gatherings and guests would ask us where we ordered them from! read more

Wow - we have finally found our go to place for our area! The only thing that could be better - is they could deliver.... They are in a small strip center with very limited parking. The interior is very outdated but they do have a couple booths that you could eat there if you really wanted to but it is mostly setup to be a takeout place. I really like that you can see right into the kitchen and see them cooking. We ordered our typical order... lo mien, fried rice, beef and broccoli, crab rangoons and beef teriyaki. The beef and broccoli was really good and perfectly seasoned. The lo mien was very different than what I have had in the past having flat almost linguine style noodles - but it was very good. Pick up time is quick - 20 minutes during dinner time. read more

I've been going to this place since I was kid and never had any major problems, if they mess up your order (which they don't do a lot) just tell them and they will immediately fix it. I used to go to this restaurant for their dinner specials and luncheon specials. New owners have taken over and the food is very bland and tastes like they cooked it in dirty grease! I have gone there twice now and there will be no third time. I had to throw each meal away because it was gross! They need to hire different cooks that know how to make a Chinese meal. Usually the car smells extremely good from the aroma of Chinese food, but not from this restaurant. My recommendation is don't take a chance, I'm sure you don't want to waste your money and still end up hungry because you had to throw away your dinner. Buyer Beware!! read more

After I read the reviews, I decided to try this Chinese restaurant since I was looking for a different place that makes the few things I like well. I called & told the woman I wanted to order takeout. I said I see online that...she cuts me off to say that they don't have a menu online. I told her I'm looking at the menu on Yelp. She yelled into the phone that they don't have a menu online. I said but...and she proceeded to hang up the phone in my ear without even so much as a goodbye. I hesitated calling back but decided to give it another try after a few mins. I order the #2 combo appetizer & a small house rice. The fried wings were ok but not fried crisp. The beef teriyaki was ok. The boneless ribs & house rice were good. But the crab rangoons were tasteless. It would've been nice if I was given more than one packet of soy sauce. Overall, I'd try this restaurant again. As we are in 2019, it would be nice if they had there menu online since previous Yelpers did not have the complete menu posted. read more

Tried to order order this past Friday 11/2020. Phone kept ringing and nobody answered. Drove by the next day and saw a sign on the the door that they closed on 11/17/20. They closed for renovations and there is a new owner. No opening date listed. So sad---this was a great place---very clean and great owners. Anytime I make my way to New England I always make sure to make a stop to Golden Dragon Island. I literally tell the lady behind the counter every time I go there that this is the best Chinese food I ever had. I always get the lunch combo with the orange chicken, spare rib tips and the crab rangoons. The food tastes like it was actually cooked in a stir fry pan and not like the other commercial things that you get at everyday carryouts. The crab rangoons have the perfect ratio of crust to creme cheese filling which is important. You don't know the feeling of biting into a Rangoon only to be met with nothingness because there's no cheese (). If you ever find yourself in Worcester ( wos-stah) seriously make sure you pronounce it right or they'll have a fit. Stop by this diamond in the literal rough. read more

If I could have given this place a 0 star rating I would have. We understand it's under new ownership, however, it USED to be our go to place for PuPu platters and lo mein but no more. We ordered a PuPu platter last night, and the butterfly shrimp were inedible - my husband almost broke his tooth trying to eat it. The teryaki stick was not better, and what's with all the red stuff smeared on everything? I tried to talk to the owner today, brought the inedible food to show her, and she really didn't care and offered no help. There were two teenage girls there last night who were very nice, but should not have been left in charge to do the cooking. Save your money, I wouldn't get this crap if they were giving it away. So sad to take a wonderful establishment with great food and great customer service, to make it go downhill so quickly!! Never will go there again!! read more

I've lived around this restaurant my entire life and it's my go to place for chinese food if I want take out. They have a small dining area but it's more like a pizza place on the inside than a Chinese restaurant. I've never had any problems with the food for the 20ish years I've been eating from there. The prices are reasonable and it's your standard Chinese-American cuisine. If that's what you're in the mood for and you want to eat at home I would say give this place a try. read more

Yes this place is under new management but I do not understand the negative reviews from others. When I found out the previous owners were closing the business I thought I was losing my go-to place for Chinese take-out. When it re-opened I didn't think it would be as good. I actually think the quality of the food with the new owners is better! Had the chicken curry last night and it was absolutely delicious. The steamed dumplings and spring rolls are great as is the lo mein. I'm givingmit 4 stars because they did mess my order up once. We do miss the previous owners duck sauce and beef terryaki. This place has gone downhill. I'm guessing it's changed hands again because the food was different than last time, and that wasn't great. Tonight I placed an order by phone. I spoke to a gentleman who didn't seem to be familiar with their menu because I was ordering combo plates. I walked in to get it and the woman states they don't have an order for me and I must have called someplace else. I pulled up the recent outgoing call on my phone and showed her. She apologized and took my order. The gentleman came around the corner and I asked him what happened. He shrugged and walked away. I asked for extra hot mustard and she tells me they don't have any. How does a Chinese food restaurant not have hot mustard? The food wasn't very good. I got beef and broccoli, fried rice and chicken fingers. The beef in the broccoli had a nasty slimy texture and was immediately thrown in the trash. My husband said some of his shrimp was also slimy. The rice was mushy in both of our plates. Nothing had any flavor. This is a very convenient place for us and we've gone there for years. It's not at all the place it used to be. We'll never go back there. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and have always enjoyed the food they serve. I ordered take out from there last night and the food was awful. The crab rangoons had a thick crust that was hard to chew, the beef terryaki which is usually a dark brown color didn't even look like it was cooked, chicken fingers and fried shrimp were greasy and mushy and the fried rice smelled like garbage. We took the bag of the entire order and thru it out. I found out later today they have new owners and I will never order from them again. Just AWFUL! read more

Absolutely horrible! For one.....We realized once we got home we were missing items from our order. We ordered beef on a stick and couldn't even bite into it or even tear it apart with our fingers it was so tough and they were drowning in some sauce. SO DISGUSTING!!!!! We also ordered the boneless spare ribs which were so fatty we ended up just throwing everything we ordered (and actually got) in the trash. The only thing that was decent was the egg rolls. I'm so bummed out, this restaurant is under new management...and in this case, new recipes. I was so excited for my favorite lobster sauce for NYE, which used to be a thick sauce, dark brown and filled with ground pork. The new lobster sauce is more of a viscous soup, no meat to be seen. The egg rolls used to be the kind that were "dry" inside with greens and pork...now they are filled with something more cabbage-like. The Peking ravioli (ordered fried) were drenched in some sauce, and soggy. To be fair, pork fried rice and crab Rangoon were good. But it just didn't make up for the rest. read more

I retired in Phoenix, AZ. My Mom is 96 yrs. old and lives in Worcester. She can't get out, so I rely on good, honest local restaurants in Worcester to bring my Mom takeout. This restaurant is completely unreliable. THEY DO NOT DELIVER, even though their YELP ad sais that they do. I have gotten 3 different stories about delivery, 3 different times. Finally today some kid admitted that they really don't deliver. I wish they were honest to begin with. But they were not, and I'm telling on them. Their food is somewhat better than what we have out here, but there isn't any good Chinese food in Phoenix. Good luck to them !!! read more

I've been coming here for almost 15 years. It's my go to Chinese spot. I've lived in different parts of the country and no other Chinese restaurant compares, to me. I was put on to Combination E by my mom and it's my favorite meal. Complete with crispy chicken fingers, spare ribs, teriyaki sticks and pork fried rice. It's so good! The food is clean and not greasy and it's seasoned just right, not too salty. The price has gone up over the years but I always get it when I'm craving Chinese. I live in LA now and I'm always eager to come back home to try this local eatery. I'd recommend it to anyone. The service...I feel it adds to the character of the restaurant haha. This is the best Chinese food place in the area, with Yung Shing a close second. The rice is brown, not yellow. The duck sauce is a golden yellow, not orange and the chicken fingers are amazing. Love this place. read more

Great food. Called and told them I have a pepper allergy while ordering, she raised her voice and accused me of confusing her, and that there aren't any peppers in the things I ordered. I told her that I just wanted to make sure, and we hung up. While eating the I combo, we found a fried fly in our food. We proceeded to tell the woman behind the register and she denied it was a fly when there were clearly wings and a body there. She took it to the back and ripped it up. The cook came out and tried to say we saw something else but we know what we saw.
