Home Style Bean Curd, Garlic Fried Rice, Mei Fun Noodle Soup with chicken (soup broth not pictured), crab Rangoon

I have gotten takeout from here probably 6 times or so and every time the food has been spectacular! I get Home Style Bean Curd (the brown sauce is amazing) and Garlic Fried Rice and Cheese Wontons. The Garlic Fried Rice is something I've never seen at a Chinese restaurant before and it's kept me coming back since the first time I had it, I highly recommend! I had an exceptionally good experience tonight with them. I placed an online order for pickup an hour in advance and it wasn't quite ready when I got there (I also work in the service industry, I know this is often out of their control so I was not upset). When I got home I realized the meal my spouse ordered had the wrong protein and the fried rice was plain and not garlic (I was disappointed but not angry with the restaurant, mistakes happen and they were busy!). I called the store and the woman on the phone was so polite and helpful, she offered to replace the items and have one of their employees deliver it to me at no charge. I ALWAYS appreciate when effort is made to right the situation and with a friendly attitude! Thank you Golden Dragon for always serving me delicious food and outstanding service!!

Shrimp and vegetable dinner combo, $9

My grandmother is a huge fan of Chinese cuisine and this is her go-to spot to get it. My mom and I took her here for lunch one weekend following a church service, and the food was pretty decent. Menu is expansive, with weekday lunch specials around $8 for soup, entree, rice, and egg roll. Weekend visits have a similar half-portion dinner special for around $10. Protein choices include beef, pork, and shrimp. We stuck to the familiar and got the pork & vegetable, chicken & vegetable, and shrimp & vegetable specials (all had different sauces to complement the protein) with fried rice ($1 upcharge). Food was hot and fresh, I personally didn't care for the canned mushrooms and thought fried rice was plain. Service is welcoming, seems to be family owned, much of their business is takeout.

    Hunan Bean Curd

Probably is the best Chinese you can get around. It doesn't look impressive inside. This is just a strip mall. It makes up for the poor setting with impressive food. The amount of food you get is great for its price. It looks like your average strip mall Chinese place from the outside. Inside it's not great looking, but it's much better than the usual dining room. The tables are covered with tableclothes. It has many of the same items you find everywhere. They do these better though. I had the Hunan Bean Curd. This is about $7 for the lunch portion. It does lots of carryout. It has a nice dining room so maybe eat inside. They are popular for delivery too.

I had a taste for Lo Mein and was in the area. The noodles were a deep dark brown, I believe b/c of sauce or something, but the flavors were unrecognizable. It was not good. The owner also wanted to charge me $2 for tiny sized pictured but its free if you request the food spicy. Nice people, bad food.

Our favorite Chinese in town, always clean and friendly Quick Service. Food is delicious with a wide variety of favorites as well as unique specials.

Overall it was a bit overfilled so it was very messy and hard to eat. I could have done without the hidden coconut shavings inside. KIMCHI & EGG CROISSANT 5 I had this one for breakfast. I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. I would have liked to see a little more mozzarella but overall it was tasty! SOBACHA CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 4 Also tasty, oversized cookie. Soft and chewy texture. CINNAMON ALMOND BLUEBERRY TOAST (THURSDAY/FRIDAY ONLY) 5.25 Very good. The cinnamon filling reminded me of a brown sugar pop tart. I warmed it in my air fryer and it was perfect. Would order again. I got the Wagyu Smashburger, which I've had at least 3-4 times now and will continue to get every time I come!

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
