This place is one of my fav. The food is amazing and affordable. I'm a regular and I most definitely recommend the kencali.

Bad custom service... Me and my dad walk in today 2 pm. First reaction we receive from waitress is no reaction passing her by to seat ourselves.... No "hi" no please wait and I'll be right with you. We wait 5 minutes or more and she does not even come out to greet us , take drinks or anything. I go and look at the front area for her and she is just organizing her forks. We immediately leave... Bad bad place, recommend to anyone to go elsewhere. read more

This place is by far the best Armenian food in the entire valley. The Original location was in Hollywood but this one is even better than that. I usually have them cater whatever party we have but recently i went in to the sit down place with my boss and his twelve year old nephew. Both of them are not Armenian so i did the ordering. Lamb chops, Salmon and Kebab Plate with a side of the potatoes. Lets just say they were blown away and have been beggin me to take them back. Never order anything for pick up dont even spend money there they have horrible customer service specially the cashier she messed up my order I order 40 Fried Khinkali on Saturday for pick up Sunday 6:00pm. I got there 6:00pm to pick up my order guess what my order is not even ready they told me it will be ready in 10 minutes it was 6:30 i was still waiting for my order and my order was 40 fried khinkali they charge me for 40 but they only fried 20 to gave it to me. Ill make sure never order anything from them again and wont recommend anyone to spend money here they should change thair employees they are rude specially the cashier they need to learn how to talk to customers. read more

My husband and I walked in for lunch one day. The woman at the register seemed we were bothering her by ordering food there. When I told her that it was my first time there and asked questions about the menu. She just pointed at the menu on the wall and started to talking to the kitchen staff in Armenian. After waiting 30 minutes for 2 plates of food. She overcharged my card and told me that she needs to void it. She did the void and didn't refund the correct amount. To make up for the incorrect void she told me just to be faster she was going to give me cash for the difference. After all of that uncomfortable and rude customer service we took our food home. I start to eat and it was good... until cooked in with the beef... HAIR!!! Long black curly hair in the beef kabob. I immediately called my sister that is a health inspector for the county of LA. I do not recommend this place to anyone. And if you do take a good look at your food before you eat. Flavor of food ok. Customer service bad. Food quality worst because it had hair in it. read more

I love Golden Fork Restaurant! I usually go there 2 or 3 times a month! If you are in a hurry, this may not be your spot! If you want fresh food made from scratch, to order you will enjoy it! Put in a large catering order for 40 people. My order consisted of close to 50 pounds of different cooked meats. My total ran around $480. The ribs were undercooked and the filet mignon was overcooked. The bbq chicken wings were tiny and really dry. I had high expectations from this place as a recently switched from another favorite spot with hopes of having some great food and experience. I've had a sitdown meal here once before and it was OK, but I will never order a large catering again and won't recommend it either. read more

This is by far one of my favorite Food Restaurants near by, however its always a take out I never dine there. Mother of three, it's nice to take a break from cooking and ordering reall BBQ. My husband has them on redial whenever we have guests. Decided to mention them in the my review today since they saved me from cooking since I had guests coming over. I was able to sit back and actually enjoy my wine while everyone enjoyed their food. The rice was gross and the meat was of very poor quality a lot of chewy bits. The French fries reminded me of the ones I used to get for lunch in high school if you want shish kebab there are literally hundreds of places that are better. read more

AMBIANCE: This place is best described as a man cave. There are sleek marble tables, populated with mainly male patrons. The place is BYOB, sans the corkage fee, any form of libations are welcome. Smoking is allowed on the premises, but when I politely requested for my neighbors to put out their cigarettes for the sake of my infant, they ALL gladly obliged. SERVICE: friendly, courteous, and leisurely paces... But only because everything is literally made to order!!! NOTHING is pre-made, and trust me you will taste the difference. FOOD: AMAZEBALLS!!! The dumplings Xinkali are perfectly doughy soft and flavorful, the lamb chops are so good I'd choose them for my last meal on earth. They also do magical things to their fire grilled potatoes, they taste rich and smoky with just a little hint of a cyst. I'm actually drooling a bit just thinking of them. PRICE: Ridiculously reasonable. We had 4 appetizers, and 4 entrees for under $90!!! OVERALL: Great experience, can't wait to come back, really want to try the pork chops!!! read more

I've never eaten Armenian food before. While driving I found this little restaurant and decided to try it. I ordered a chicken sandwich and hummus. Although the service is slow I think you're very busy with a big buffet take out. the service personnel were wonderful and the sandwich was excellent. The hummus had a delightful taste to it I wish I had picked up some tahini sauce. For go out to dinner and impress the date spot this is the place you want to go! read more

A customer bought us lunch from here and it was very delicious. The rice and kabobs were very yummy and the other meats were very moist and juicy. The hummus was hands down my favorite!! My coworkers all loved it as well and were asking for the location to order on there special occasions. I will definately order from this place for a get together soon. read more

A horrible experience as a first timer! Realized there was no seating area. Asked the cashier if it was a sit in or to go restaurant by its cramped layout. The lady said yes there was seating and pointed to the swinging doors behind me. We sat on a table in the room feeling very awkward an getting stared at by a group in a table. I would have given them five stars but some workers always try to cheat you for few bucks here and there. I'm a good tipper I think. I'd leave 25-30% if I like the place, but not when people think you are stupid or something. Amazing prices on tender kebabs and fresh salads. Always order or it in here when in the area. I used to love this place until staff would always be rude over the phone put me on hold and you can hear them laughing and just having a whole conversation in the back then still have the audacity to tell me to call back (very unprofessional) !!!! Then i would call back and they would always tell me it was a 2 hour wait , Still i chose to give them another chance and take my whole family to eat at the location not only did they take long and give us dirty looks the whole time the food was raw we couldnt even bare to eat it when my mother called the waitress over to tell her about it she didnt even listen for two seconds and walked away and brought us a box to take the food so we had to tell her again and all she did was say oh and walked to the back and just brought us the bill i cant believe the way that they treat their clients will never be going here again advise you dont either save yourself a bad time !! read more

The food is absolutely incredible it is just like my grandmother used to make. In my opinion the food is of the highest quality made to order. First, let me say that the food tasted very good. NOW the other stuff. We walked in the front door to an empty room nobody there, we had to wait till someone finally came from the back room. The service sucked, it was more important for the "girls" to yap in the next room than to serve the customers. We had to walk in the back room to ask to get the check and it was 15 min later that it came. I came real close to just walking out. They refused to take credit cards but would take debit IF I told her my PIN number. Paid cash and only had $2 for tip. She got mad! sorry Charlie as they say. If your are sensitive to MSG DON'T go there, got home and slept for 3 hours. I live within walking distance they could have had a good customer. NOPE never again. Oh and the Diet Pepsi that I had expired almost a year ago, and the "B" could care less. read more

On December 16, 2016 visited this restaurant with my family and friends. It was the worst service I ever had. I made a reservation an advance for 7-730 pm, and was very specific about time, because it was Friday, people were coming from work for my birthday for dinner. I also pre-ordered appetizers, so my quests could start eating right away. We arrived exactly at 7:30 pm. Table was not served. When I asked the waitress to bring the rest of our appetizers, she was extremely rude. Moreover, there were no glasses for water on the table, no alcohol that we previously brought. We had to get glasses and alcohol and serve ourselves. Although appetizers were not even served, the waitress came to our table and said that we better order the main course now, because the kitchen is closing. I found it absolutely unacceptable. I came to the kitchen, and a young women was telling me that we came late. If I knew, that the time I made a reservation was "too late", I wouldn't make a reservation at the first place. When I mentioned, that it is time to bring cake and hot drinks, the waitress said: "We are all tired". She was "kind enough" to bring the cake I brought and the knife that we could cut it. I, my family and my friends have been a customers of your restaurant because of delicious food; we have ordered from you all the time. But we could not expect such a horrible service. Besides my birthday, one of our guests had a birthday at this day too. So it was frustrating and embarrassing. That day, the personnel spoiled our event. Golden fork has the best Mediterranean food in the valley. What I really liked about the restaurant was the customer service, I was approached every few minutes and asked if I needed anything. The prices are very affordable compared to the large portions of food they give for each plate. take out Experience is great as well. Take out was ready at the time that I requested, and the restaurant always gives more than enough portions.
