My father-in-law who has been staying with us was craving egg drop soup. My brother-in-law brought him some from this place a few says ago and my father-in-law loved it and some chicken lo mein he also had. So after his raving I gave in and ordered the general tso's chicken for myself. Honestly by now I should know to not trust my father-in-laws opinion when it comes to food. He loved everything. Well, my general tso's chicken was DISGUSTING the saw tasted fine, however there was no chicken, only meat fat covered in breading & sauce. It was so bad I got sick from it. The fried rice was dry and tasted like nothing- and it too - no meat - the roast pork was meat fat died red. My kids ate the egg rolls -fortunately there was non of the meat fat at all in them, actually the only thing inside them was the shredded cabbage. I'm very curious as to how this place stays in business. read more

Ordered beef with broccoli combination platter, large beef lomein, sweet and sour chicken combination platter, twice cooked pork combination platter, and all combination platters with wonton soup and egg drop wonton soups. My family liked it. Although the containers are now much smaller then they used to be the prices are so much higher..... They are way more shallow. It's good for health but in past we used to have enough for lunch at work next day. Times are so different now. Glad I cook more now so I don't do take out as often. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had a complaint until today! I called and placed an order. When I got there the young man checked my phone number but didn't see my order so the woman who works there goes to the computer and acts like she is looking for my order asking me to repeat it, while she is doing that I am asking her is this your number, it was the number I called and she just kept nodding and telling me it's almost ready give me 5 mins. So I say ok I pay for the food and I am waiting when I see their menu and the number is not theirs (totally my fault for going to the wrong place) so I say to the woman you didn't have my order you took it and said you had it and she was very rude kind of laughing and saying you already paid for it just cancel it at the other number. I said you should have told me the order wasn't here so I could've gotten it from the place I accidentally called, so as to not stiff them on an order! I told her I was never coming back since I felt like she totally lied to me about having my order!! She didn't care one bit, just laughing!! This is not the first time this woman has been rude to customers and our family will not be returning. read more

This location claims they do not have yelp or Uber eats as an option to deliver and I never received my food I will now be fighting a charge. I placed an order online. The eta showed for 20-40 min. An hour passed. I called the restaurant to ask where my order was, and immediately the woman says we don't have it. I asked how? The order was made from your store and it brings you to yelp to order. I read off my order and my location and she continued no we don't have it. At this point I'm pissed. And it was too late to even reorder and I was not wasting more time. Another man comes on the phone I explain again, he asked what my order was, I said it. He also said no we don't have it. Needless to say nothing got done after this. I hung up and contacted yelp immediately as I was furious. Yelp immediately refunded me. Great. 20 min after, I get a call from this place, my husband answers. They tell him, the driver is almost there. He said "no, you told us you didn't have our order" she says well we found it and he is on the way. My husband said you can contact him and have him turn around. We don't want the food. And he explained, you and your coworker told my wife you did not have our order, we already contacted Yelp and reported it and we requested a refund. The woman than states "well we will contact Yelp and let them know". This place is bullshit for this. So be aware and be careful. Clearly they don't know what they're doing. read more

Golden Garden Restaurants has to be the best place to get Chinese food to date. I was coming from Blink Fitness which is located in the same plaza as this Chinese restaurant. I was extremely hungry, and being a Vegan, finding food at the late hours of 9 PM is very difficult to come by. I had the opportunity of dining at the location instead of picking my food or having it delivered. The staff there are generous; I am not exactly sure whether or not I was talking to the owner of the restaurant, but he was cordial and professional within the standards of what you would expect from a restaurant. I ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein, and a side of brown rice. I was very satisfied with the taste of my meal. It seems they cooked my meal with fresh oil and vegetables. Although it is frozen, it didn't seem expired. I've had Chinese food in which the vegetables fell apart and were too soft (Fun fact: frozen vegetables retain more nutrient value than refrigerated vegetables with the exception of spinach; spinach is more nutrient dense when it is eaten when it is bought). Moreover, no bugs in the food; its clean! It rained heavily on this particular day, and it was humid inside the restaurant, but it was completely fine by me (No AC). The dining area is clean and rather large compared to a typical Chinese restaurant. They're very generous, and the quality of the food is great! I most definitely will be recommending to other friends of mine within the area if they are looking to order. read more

Chilly night, we decided to order take out for delivery. They gave an estimated 40 minute delivery time, and showed up in 30 minutes - that was nice! I liked the wonton/Egg drop soup mix. Nice flavor and included roast pork, which most places don't do. Enjoyed the spring roll that had a pork/Chicken/Shrimp mix. Fried wontons and fried pork dumplings were excellent, nothing was greasy. My husband enjoyed the BBQ spare ribs on the bone. He said the pepper steak was chewy, but he enjoyed the fried rice. Probably our new go-to Chinese food take out place. read more

called for delivery, was told 40mins and it took an hour but whatever, start going through food and see MY meal was wrong. i ordered from them once a week, same order every time and sometimes orders $100+ .. but mistakes happen and i understand that. when i called to tell them and request the correct food be brought, the woman was RUDE, didn't apologize ONCE (and this isn't the first time), TRIED TO BLAME MEEEEE, and told me i had to come pick it up. when i told her i couldn't (nor should i have to) she responded with "what do you want me to do about it" .. told her to send the guy back with correct order .. she also told me she wanted the wrong item back. I had been coming here for my whole life until once I ate their wonton soup and got food poisoning. The broth was pretty much pure oil. The staff can sometimes be extremely rude. I've been jumping around trying to find a good Chinese food place where the food isn't soggy or salty and also one that delivers so i decided to give this place a try and i am pleasantly pleased. The chicken with broccoli was good and the broccoli in it was fresh and bright green( I've ordered other places and it's dark green and mushy) the rice was pretty good and fried wontons and beef lomein also decent. We've ordered from here twice for delivery and I have to say we didn't wait a long time for it at all. Stopped in last week for a lunch combo plate. Got Gen Tso's with fried rice and an egg roll. There was NO sauce on the chicken......VERY DRY The fried rice was VERY dry........ Remember when the menu's had Pint and Quart? There menu has the sizes of small and large. They are using a 3 cup takeout container rather than a 4 cup.
