Scratchy/rough feeling sheets. They used to have the softest sheets/blankets on their massage tables. The moment I laid down this time, my body went into "Ugh, these sheets are thick, waffle-y, and scratchy" mode and I wasn't really able to relax. 2. This was the first time no bolster was placed under my feet, so that added to the discomfort. 3. No heating blanket was offered, but I did see the cord as I was getting dressed afterwards. 4. I was told that the 90-minute massage was all inclusive (to include an essential oil of my choosing), but never received it. 5. There was no head massage...not even a second. This was given every time before, and my mom received it with hers. (We both had massages that day; same time, different rooms and different therapists (obviously!)). 6. My massage therapist (and my mom's, too) seemed a bit rushed. Sure, we both got our 90 minutes, but there were areas for both of us that they just sped through and some where we felt they just spent too much unnecessary time on. 7. This place just doesn't seem as clean, organized or relaxing as it once did. Again, it's clean, but not inviting or as comfortable as it once was. 8. This didn't change, and I get tipping, but the 32% tipping "suggestion" at the front desk is a slight ick for me. I'd at least change it to 20%, but heck...I even tipped the $35 for a $109 massage (32.11%), so maybe it just works. I'm not saying this place is bad by any means, but it has definitely gone from my fave to "eh". Time for me to focus on finding a new massage place that's more inviting, comfortable, and much better quality. Sorry Top Thai, you're just not my "top" anymore.

From the start, my therapist appeared distracted and unprofessional. Her phone continuously vibrated during the session, and I could physically feel her stopping and shifting as if she were checking it and replying. While I heard my husband getting a massage done with oil, she spent the first half just rubbing her elbows over the sheet because she was texting and didn't want to get her hands oily. She would stop and I could feel her wrist move or she'd massage with one hand. At times, she paused entirely. While I was on my stomach, she only worked on my left side and barely touched the right side of my back. She spent an excessive amount of time lightly rubbing my left leg with no pressure or technique. I never received a full, balanced massage -- my right side was largely ignored, and parts of my arms were never addressed. The unprofessionalism began even before the appointment. When I called to book, I was told via text to schedule that way instead. The responses I received appeared careless, including what looked like a child's message and a sticker of children a few hours a had made the appointment. The day before the appointment, I received a call stressing that I needed to be on time because another client was booked after me -- as if my appointment was somehow less important. This experience left me profoundly dissatisfied and extremely disappointed. A massage should feel attentive and professional. Instead, I felt disregarded and undervalued. I will not be returning.

I think it was around $65.00 for the hour. I walked in and was not greeted by the lady at the reception desk, who was watching a very loud show on her phone. She didn't smile, barely made eye contact and when I asked for water, she pointed to the water dispenser so I could get my own. Ok cool. She was not friendly and not what would I would expect going in for a massage. I've been stressed due to the loss of my father, so I decided to treat myself to a massage. Anyway, I wasn't there to see her, hence the 5 stars. Things quickly got better when I met my massage therapist, Annie. She was delightful, very experienced and melted the stress right out of my neck and shoulders. Annie gets ten stars. No joke. The massage bed was also very comfortable and heated. I will definitely be back and deal with Ms. no eye contact, just to see Annie. Tip her well please, she works hard and that takes a toll on her own body.
