This place actually has 2 names, the "Alejandra's Gift Shop" is technically the inside of the home…read morethat sells Mexican dresses, shirts, shoes, hats, jewelry, etc. and they are only open on Saturday & Sunday 10-4. I've more often seen the food part of the place referenced as Alejandra's, but technically, all of the food is under the name "Mi Ranchito Farmers Market" and it is open Friday - Sunday 10-4. The farmers market is set up in front of the house, with a pavilion for buying tamales, jarred salsa and jellies, a food truck with elotes, another pavilon with produce, plants, and honey, and a final pavilion that has garden decoration items like chimeneas and metal/ceramic cacti, chickens and flowers. I had the elotes and tamales, all were great! They had chicken, pork and cheese with jalapeno. My favorite was the chicken. When I got to the auction I was greeted by an entire team ready to assist me. My invoice was taken care of at the auctions end online so now I just needed to let them know I was there and they would bring me my purchases. I did just that and in less than 3 minutes a kind gentleman came bringing me my purchase. It was a delightful experience and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again as the item was exactly as presented in their online catalog description and pictures.

PLEASE GO REVIEW ITEMS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Gem was a referral from a family member and they were great…read moreduring the initial sales phase (the money taking phase). Ultimately though we DID NOT have the same experience that our family member did, I guess because we were unhappy with their work product and we had to go back and attempt to take advantage of post-sale service. If you are concerned about your jewelry store standing behind their work, you really should go somewhere else. We went in to have a tension ring re-sized, which they claimed they could do. We paid over $1000 for the resizing, and within 3 months the stone JUST FELL OUT!! Luckily after an hour or so on our hands and knees we found the diamond. We took it back for them fix it, which they did, for another charge of several hundred dollars. Guess what, almost immediately the stone became loose again. I gave them one more chance and to their credit they did not charge for the 3rd try. But within weeks the stone actually FELL OUT again (see picture). I went back in again, frustrated as you can imagine but calm, and they said they would stand behind their work BUT their work WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE DIAMOND EVEN IF their work caused the stone to fall out and lost forever! What kind of comfort is that? Are they afraid of their own work product resulting in lost stones apparently? But I digress, Gem now claims that the ring style is the real issue, not their work! They say that tension settings are an inherently unreliable mount. Really? I don't think so because my wife had this same tension ring for over 10 years and experienced absolutely no problems at all. I kept telling them but to no avail, it's not their fault. In the end, I simple asked for my money back because they didn't do what we paid them to do! But, you guessed it, they would not accommodate at all, and had the audacity to tell me to go somewhere else and still kept my money So that is my recommendation to you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! There are dozens of reputable jewelry dealers in the Dallas area that can sell a ring, but only the better establishments stand behind their work, and Gem is NOT one of those retailers.

Ended up with mostly 1 oz rounds and a couple smaller pieces. Easy process. The transaction was smooth and honest. They actually talk to you and make you feel welcome, not rushed or pressured. If you're new to silver and gold, they explain things without talking down to you. Sometimes the lines are long but that only proves that these guy are exceptionally awesome . I called other coin shops before going here. One wanted $8 premium on rounds and $10 on Silver Eagles -- straight ripoff. These guys were a lot more fair and resealable. I asked them their premiums up front and they told me straight up $1.50 on rounds and $3.50 to $4.50 on Silver Eagles cant remember. At the time, silver spot was around $80-$81. And change. Even though this place isn't the closest to my house, I'll drive out of my way to come here. Worth it. Good experience, good people, fair prices. I'll be back. I went to pick up ring to discover diamond was no longer set in original opening but in a new mount that set above the band. The new mounting allowed for another stone to be used to replace my original diamond. Mr. Jimmy became rude and agitated when I questioned him about the ring. My first time in by a referral by my roommate today. I needed to crack open the back of my fossil watch to change my battery and I also needed a battery for an old watch my father left me when he passed away years ago. Im 62 years old and have alot of experiences both good and not so good from jewelers. When I tell you I received impeccable service from the second I opened the door I mean exceptional !! Not only did they have the parts I needed they also fixed them right on the spot when I informed them I couldnt drop it off and come back. all this with a smile and the offer of a bottle of water while I waited a whole 2 minutes. plus they threw in my extra battery free?? . I originally got my engagement ring from another jeweler out of town and didn't get the wedding band as a pair so my fiancé and I stopped by golden jewelers to see their selections of wedding bands. I am SOOO thankful we did. They were amazing and very helpful. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for but when I told them what I liked they found the perfect band for me. Noah is extremely knowledgeable about diamonds and made sure to make the ring that would pair perfectly with my engagement ring. Every time I look at my ring I fall more in love!!! The absolute best customer service I have received in many years locally. Noah is so courteous, professional and generous with his time spent with me. I brought in several pieces of jewelry for repairs and cleaning. He and Lauren were so kind and the finished work was above my expectations. Their customization process allowed for us to sample different features we liked until we found THE ONE. Lance was able to present me with different options that allowed me to buy the ring she wanted at a budget I could afford. Golden Jewelers in Forney was there for me! I had a pin break from a link on my watch band. I tried to find a pin for the band on my watch and they were too thick. Don't let the outside strip center area deter you - its a little crowded / bad parking lot, but the inside of the market center is OK. The post had broken off my mom's (fake) gold earrings and needed to be soldered back on. But, b/c they were not real gold, a special kind of welding (laser welding?) had to be used. I dropped off the earrings at the store and about 3 weeks and $25 later , they were ready! They even cleaned/polished them so they shine like new (they are 30+ years old).
