Let me start by saying that this place and Noah are true professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My story: I planed to propose and was kind of lost on the right ring and how to go about the process. I did some searching and found this place and read the reviews. Hesitant, I drove over to the store and told Noah about my plans, he was very kind and knowledgeable. I decided on a ring design and handed over my mother's wedding ring and my gfs grandmother's engagement ring. Noah listened to what I wanted and he designed a perfect ring for my soon to be fiance. After the first rendering, we agreed that it was perfect. She said yes of course but I got the wrong size, slightly to big. Noah offered to remake the ring free of charge and even added more diamonds!!! The ring is absolutely gorgeous, and to top it off, my fiance is just absolutely in love with it I highly recommend this jeweler establishment and Noah the gold smith. This location is actually located in the Forney Shopping Center under the name Afandi Jewelers and they are AMAZING! I had to have a ring cut off my finger and then fixed and I was able to walk right in and have them help me. They were professional, calm and when they were done with the repair the ring looked beautiful as if nothing had ever happened to it. They also had a gorgeous variety of jewelry for sale. I only discovered this fabulous fine jewelers today! I needed to bring a few pieces of jewelry for cleaning, repairing, and resizing. Not only the premises are beautiful and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly (shoutout to Maria and the gentleman she works with). The master jeweler makes beautiful work; however, do not take anything here to be appraised. I had 9 appraisals done here & not one contained accurate addresses. I have tried for 3 months to have this corrected to no avail. I finally disputed the charges, which totaled over $1,000.00. Maybe this will get Noah's attention, but I doubt it! Golden Jewelers is amazing if your in need of a special gift, or jewelry repair. they cleaned my wedding ring and discovered a couple of prongs were broken. I left my ring for a week. they even let me look at the prongs under microscope to show me the problem. when I picked up my ring, it looked just beautiful. that was 4 months ago. I realized over the weekend I had indeed lost a small diamond on the side of my center diamond. when I took the ring in on Saturday, they looked up my account and repaired it at no charge without me even asking. they are an honest family running a very reputable business. I would highly recommend this jeweler. didn't even need to bake an insurance claim thanks to Golden Jewelers!! read more

I took numerous pieces to be appraised starting in October of 2023. The appraisals were not returned in the timely manner in which I was told they would be. One of the pieces I took for an appraisal I decided to reset instead of spending the cost of the repair. I was promised some design choices and never received them. I finally went to the store and discussed what could be done. Was again promised design choices to not receive them. Went to the store again and discussed options. Finally got one design choice and approved it. Was told I would receive the other design choice in a day or two to approve. Several days later went back to the store and discussed never getting any design choices. Was promised my pieces would be ready by 12/22/23 no later than 5 Was called and told 6. I couldn't do that as I had other plans( even 5 was pushing for my other plans). Today I was headed to pick them up and was called and told they wouldn't be available until closer to noon. Noon 12/23/23 is not 12/22/23. Was also told they several calls were made to me during the process. I never received calls until I started showing up in the store saying I'm not getting the service I was promised. The amount of money I'm spending may not be a large amount to many of their customers but to me it's a considerable sum and I expect better customer service for that price. Today I was told jewelry making isn't an exact science, I can understand that. However, if that's how you view it don't promise something you can't deliver. I know many in the community highly recommend this store but I cannot recommend it and will be sure my local friends know of my dissatisfaction. read more

Just happened to drive by and see the sign and stopped in for some watch repair issues with my parents watches!! THEY WERE AMAZING!! They went over and above to help me find an oblong punch for my Dad's Mont Blanc watch band that he was needing additional slots for!! Took out links in my mom's watch and added other punches in another band too!! They were personable, efficient, extremely accommodating!! Like I mentioned above, THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET THIS DONE FOR ME!! If I could give them more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! I was very excited to see that Forney has a nice jewelry store. I went there to get a new wedding ring because mine did not fit anymore. It was suggested that I get my original rings resized. I took my rings on Friday to be resized and was told they would be done by Wednesday and I would be called when they were done. When not called by Friday I called to find out when they would be done. They found my order and realized there was a misunderstanding. I was given my rings back free of charge and they fit perfectly. It is great to know there are honorable people working in our neighborhood. I would go back again. read more
