The kung pao was abundant and super super temperature hot, but it was chicken and lots of celery, fewer peanuts and chiles. I could have gone spicier. It was good but nothing special. I ordered the almond chicken, sweet and sour chicken and some crab Rangoon. These were the dinner combos. Firstly compared to china town (which quality has decreased I think new owners) this place can't hold a candle. The fried rice if you can even call it that is mostly rice with soy sauce and a tiny bit of egg. It's very disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken is alright I suppose but that's the same everywhere. Except my wife and daughter prefer it with sauce on the side which is how this is served. The egg rolls are ok, but I've had better. The crab Rangoon is a different shape it's flat like a dumpling and just ok. Not much filling. The almond chicken was gross. Perhaps I didn't understand what it was but it's literally fried chicken cut up with gravy and almonds. I can't fault the restaurant here because that's the recipe and my failure to understand what I'm ordering is my own. But the failure with the rice really made it disappointing. The cost was reasonable. With delivery and tip it came to about $35 with an extra egg roll. This is my second or third time with this place and I'm done. read more

I was recommended this spot by a friend because of their general-tso & sesame chicken. Although I didn't get those two particular items I thought they would have been good at other items as well. What I ordered as follows: Hunan Chicken Crispy Beef in Black Pepper sauce Szechuan Shrimp House Special Lo mein Crab Ragoons Cons- *The Hunan Chicken didn't taste much better and after you were done the overwhelming and unpleasant flavor left in your mouth was iron. *The Crispy Beef had broccoli in the container that were just plain raw not lightly steamed or nuked just raw. *Szechuan Shrimp was probably the biggest let down because when ordering I asked for crispy/spicy shrimp and instead what I got was a half empty container of sauce with a couple of shrimp with floating around. Not crispy and over cooked. *When ordering the house special Lo mein the employee recommended it because it was supposed to be their best and have beef,chicken,& shrimp. So taking the recommendation I was sorely disappointed with the dismal amount of : 4 pieces of beef, 4 pieces of chicken, and 2 shrimp. *The crab ragoons were so under filled that on one of them I tore it open just to see if it had anything actually in it. This may be a good thing though bc on the ones that you could actually taste the filling it was almost like it was starting to expire. This restaurant used to be consistently pretty good. Now after 3 orders over last couple of months their quality and order accuracy have went significantly down. Then she complained when I wanted to use a credit card because the order wasn't enough. When I called at 60 minutes to see you my order was she said he's on his way and hung up on me. The woman I spoke to said the numbers confused her. Okay, no problem. I'll use names. They offer dinners that include an entree, fried rice and an egg roll. Perfect for dad but they don't offer s&s pork. S&s chicken or shrimp but not pork. I asked if they could substitute. "Eat the chicken" was her response. No subs? "No". Wha!? This place is definitely a hole in the wall for sure. Kinda shady to be honest and the bathroom was disgusting. The food was very mediocre and no wonder it's as cheap as it is. Egg drop soup was nasty thick, egg roll was decent. Other than that it's a no from me. I would settle and go there once in a while if it was the only Chinese place around for miles but it's not and there are so many other places close to this one that are so much better. I would say this place is pretty cheap and quick. Very close to hotels and the highway. I ordered General Tso's chicken. I agree with some of the review of this dish in regards to it having wayyyyy too much sauce. I am not sure if I would categorize the checken as being "soggy," but it definitely wasn't crispy. They have a lunch and dinner combo which is pretty nice and you get a decent amount of food. I get carryout from here once or twice a week and am never disappointed. I especially like the almond chicken. A large portion for a great price. The egg rolls are good as well. I certainly was not disappointed - relatively cheap and quick to get my food to me (I think I only waited maybe 5 minutes). Absolutely wonderful!!! Not your typical heavy soy and peanut oil laden Boston Style Chinese Food. It is clean food with a light Japanese influence... The waitress we had was delightful, the atmosphere spotless and pleasant, the menu well thought out with items nicely described. I had a Golden Dragon Veggie Roll with Seaweed Salad and my wife chose the Lobster Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken. The presentation of all four plates were 4 star and the tastes were extremely clean on the pallet... We applaud the staff at the Golden Dragon and look forward to returning soon! Funny thing is, we have driven past the restaurant for several years and never stopped because it just didn't look like anything from the outside LOL Happy we finally gave it a try! The cost was low and they have wonderful deals for lunch. Owner/manager lady here very nice, and helpful. As someone else said, she is happy to accommodate requests for substitution of tofu for meat in most dishes, and tofu is nicely cooked and tastes great. Also will adjust spicy heat to your liking. Stopped in while we were in town for my stepdad's open heart surgery. It was a long day and we were starving. Although there was no apparent tofu on the menu, we asked and they had it! The man and I each got a different dish, substituted fried tofu for the meat. They fried it up right! And we asked for extra spicy and were not disappointed!! Love this place. I'd give it 4.5 stars, if that was available. It's located next to Savers, in case you were wondering where it is located (just a few doors down from Al Smith's Place - also yum). Anyway. Where should I start. I appreciate that this place is very CLEAN (it smells like dove soap the moment you walk in, too). The owner is always there and is SUPER nice, and she is more than willing to help guide you through the menu, and offer suggestions. I also appreciate that they will tailor their meals for you, based on any dietary restrictions you have (I do as low carb as I can, so that means light sauce and sauteed chicke). Also, the prices are more than reasonable. For $4.85, you can get the special at lunch, which includes the entree, rice, and an eggroll or 2 crab rangoon. They also have a great appetizer special (sweet and sour chicken, fried shrimp, crab rangoon, and an eggroll) for $3.50 or $3.95. So really, you can get out of there with the appetizer special, 2 entrees, and a pint of soup for under $20. Great deal, and enough food for a couple of meals. I also highly recommend the hot and sour soup - it's actually somewhat spicy, but also has a nice hint of vinegar to it. Used to be good. Been going there for 5 years for take out. Last 4 times orders were not correct. After driving 6 miles to pick up it was not worth returning orders. Crispy beef was fried to like hard sticks. Crispy chicken wasn't crispy. No soy sauce. Ordered spicy with scallions. No spice and no scallions. Very disappointing. Don't know what happened. But going from good to bad. Problem seems staff constant arguing in front of customers is part of problem. Won't go back read more
