I ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and peas for lunch last Thursday. The food arrive quickly by Uber eats BUT the rice and pease were very dry and the jerk chicken seemed to be old. I basically spent 10 on two small plantations and a scoop of cabbage. I enjoy Caribbean foods but not from this restaurant. You get 1 star because the cabbage and plantains were tasty. read more

I ordered curry goat and stew chicken... it really grinds my gears when EXTRA FAKE JAMAICAN RESTAURANTS get praise.... this food is disgusting and they should be shamed for calling themselves "authentic". You should call yourselves "commercialized" because the food is clearly diluted. My rice was crunchy and dry, and I have sooo many complaints about the meat... The service is good, the staff is very nice. The food however was mediocre. The beef patties seemed like they were old and seemed like it had beans in it instead of beef. I had the oxtail with rice and peas and I honestly think you pay too much money for what you get. Other hole in the wall Jamaican spots have better tasting food at competitive costs. read more

The food is mediocre in its flavor. I ordered the curry chicken and it lacked flavor. The rice and peas were mediocre. I liked that the cabbage mix was not over cooked like some Caribbean restaurants but it lacked flavor. The beef patty regular was not spicy to me and I did not care too much for the breading on it. This is for the customer service which sucks. The lady with the accent who served the food was nice but the one at the cash register didn't seem to know what she was doing or how to expedite. I came in there with my son who was already cranky and I ordered 2 patties, that's it. They see me struggling to hold him and keep him in line and could have easily checked me out in a minute but no, I'm standing there behind someone who keeps on adding to his order and can't seem to make up his mind about what else he wants. We picked up dinner here after a friend recommended it. The customer service was outstanding...very friendly and welcoming when we walked in. We ordered the jerk chicken and curry chicken, each with the spinach rice. The chicken was tender, moist, and falling off the bone. Both were very flavorful. The spinach rice was delicious, and the plantains were some of the best we've had. We will definitely be back! read more

Very tasty stewed chicken and the gravy was just the right amount of thickness. I took the spicy beef patty to-go so I'll have to update my review after I try it. I couldn't eat it while I was there because I was stuffed. I ordered a small stewed chicken and I only finished half of it before having to take the rest to go. I'll be back to try the oxtails. The cabbage was fresh and the plantains were perfect. I also ordered the pineapple-ginger juice and it was refreshing without the ginger overpowering the drink. I'll be back for sure! read more

Purchased 2 beef patties- crust was thick- good tasting- not flakey as others experienced, but extremely disappointed that I had only a thin layer of paste for my Pattie. I am used to real beef, fish, etc in my pattie. I would prefer a thinner flakey crust and some real filling. The beans & rice had a good taste. To start off when I got there the girl at the front had a really bad attitude constantly rolling her eyes at her coworkers and then onto us. I ordered a spicy cheesy beef patty, mild beef patty, jerk chicken wings, rice and peas, and coco bread. The meat patties were slimy and didn't have a ground beef consistency. It was like ground black beans so I called the restaurant to see if the filling was a combo of black beans and ground beef. The young lady who answered the phone didn't know what was in the beef patties because they are flown in and reheated. I threw them away because that texture was very bothersome. I ordered from here because my boyfriend is a fan of the chain down in Florida, however after receiving our food 30 mins later than the latest time for delivery, we discovered that this restaurant is not on par with the remainder of the chain. I ordered the oxtails with peas and rice and cabbage: the oxtails tasted as if the gravy was just a regular bbq sauce so much so that I should have ordered out for bbq, and the cabbage was severely undercooked. The jerk chicken that my boyfriend ordered was not traditional Caribbean jerk chicken, not sure what it was but it wasn't jerk, and his cabbage was severely undercooked as well. We ordered 2 sides of Mac and cheeses to only be let down some more. The only half way good thing about this order was the order was still hot upon delivery. The 2 patties we ordered were not of a proper consistency due to the meet being over grinded. I do not recommend this restaurant if you're craving Caribbean cuisine. read more
