I eat a wide variety of foods from all over and yet there's something about a burger from Coyote Bluff that just hits the spot. It's an appropriately rustic dinning area with a distinct if not unassuming exterior. Come here is your in the mood for burgers. You won't regret it!

When you walk in, If they have a table available, they will direct you to it, otherwise they will take your last name and tell you to go back outside and wait until they call your name. The menu is fairly straightforward so orders turned around pretty quick and it was a maximum of 20 to 25 minute wait to turn a table. My husband ordered the Hell burger which had the hot sauce on it and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely fantastic as well as the shoestring fries were very good! Hubs really liked that his burger had a ton of peppers on it as well as the hot sauce so he felt like he was getting his daily vegetable allotment, lol! The service was actually pretty quick again, I believe this is because the menu was super simple and they had a ton of regulars coming in. You can also order to go if you don't want to wait as several people did, and my understanding is the packaging is fantastic so just as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. The place is super small and there are tons of stuff on the wall so it's an interesting place. Service was friendly and efficient and now we can check this one off our checklist that we have been here when driving through Amarillo!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, lively, and full of energy. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the portions were more than worth the price. Everything we ordered was flavorful and satisfying. What truly took our experience over the top, though, was our server, Corbin. He greet us with a great smile, he was friendly, inviting, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations, checked on us often, and genuinely made our visit memorable. Especially when my wife forgot her sunglasses. Corbin was essential in us finding. Thank you Corbin!!! If you're passing through Amarillo, The Big Texan is definitely worth the stop, and if you get Corbin as your server, you're in for an even better experience!

Our server was very attentive and cheery. They have a very large two level dining area. The steaks are grilled in plain sight in front of the stage where the world famous 72 oz steak challenge takes place. They bring out fresh baked rolls with your meal. The half order of fried mushrooms was great. My son enjoyed his two 5 oz steak filets, my wife was very pleased with her Prime Rib. I was disappointed with my rib eye, I had to trim off too much fat. The desert was delicious. Overall, don't expect a steak you would be served at a fine steakhouse, but definitely give the Steak Ranch a visit.

Based on the reviews we wanted to try the fusion food. We went in around 8:30pm We ordered Mango Cart for myself and Drunken Noodles for kids (No spice level) Curry Chicken with Fried Rice and Lo mein. While we waited for food, my SO ordered a Ginger cocktail. Waitress forgot about it. We had to remind her and she did not even remember what we ordered. They were so busy they had only 2 other tables to handle. Other waitress with glasses is on phone or her back turned against the tables. Cocktail was way too sweet and not even a hint of ginger, it was definitely not worth the 15$. The price is not even listed on menu. We got our first food item at 9:15pm when we requested that our kids were hungry and sleepy, 45 mins after we got in and ordered. Waitress said they were busy with take out, I guess people spending time to visit restaurant are not important. Couple more mins and we were ready to pay for drinks and walkout. Curry Chicken came first and rice came after 5 minutes and waitress did not even think about giving us knives when I ordered chicken which needs knives and took us a while to get her attention as she had her backs turned towards the wall. The waitress kept walking away and sitting down with another couple at a table. Lo mein was made with Ramen noodles. One more thing to note here, the chef keeps walking out of kitchen with food and doesn't even wear and hair net, so dont be alarmed if you find hair in your food If you value your time and mental peace, dont go eat here.
