I've been a follower of Golden Moon Piercings for quite some time on Instagram and recently took advantage of Nicks apprentice piercings for a faux rook. Nick was very nice, and was overseen by Amanda (equally as nice!) who ensured that his placing was appropriate. He talked me though the entire process and took his time to review aftercare with me. As Rachael F. and others have stated the shop is immaculate and clean and very welcoming. They have a great jewelry selection for multiple price points and during my visit I also purchased a pair of studs for my second lobe piercings. I have no problems driving from the valley to visit Golden Moon as their professionalism is exceptional. I look forward to visiting again! read more

Amanda has done both my flat piercings and my conch. Prior to her I'd never had a piercing heal well, it was always a struggle. She did my double flat piercing and they healed clean and I was so happy that I keep coming back and will recommend her to everyone. The jewelry is super high quality it doesn't make me itch and you can trust that it's going to hold up. My double flat jewelry looks as good as the day it was pierced and it's been 3ish years. Today I got my conch pierced and I'm so happy with it and realized I've never written a review, so here I am. Thing that I like best: - The studio is super clean. - Top of the line, gorgeous jewelry choices. - She won't use piercing guns (your mall stores that use those don't care about your healing) - She is precise and skilled at her craft. - If you aren't sure about something, she will take the time to explain or help you choose. - The studios only focus is piercing. Nothing against tattoo/piercing studios, but it's just a different vibe. - They are professional with all ages. I was there while a couple of teens were getting their ears pierced and they were so happy and excited. The piercers are great at keeping a calm and fun atmosphere to minimize any nerves. - they provide aftercare instructions. You go home with information and anything you need to care for the piercing. Nick and Amanda were absolutely amazing. The service I selected was an apprentice daith. Amanda shadowed Nick the whole time. The room is private where the piercing happens. They sanitize jewelry and go through the process with you step by step. They don't do anything without telling you first. There's consent forms and you need an ID. Check their website for more details. The last time I got a piercing was about 15 years ago. Let me tell you, this is such a high standard compared to then. Meticulous care was done to sanitize, place and choose needle sizes. The jewelry was well priced and the after care instructions were clear and easy. In the photo I put black markup over the parts that are bleeding. The jewelry is Niobium with rainbow opals. Not sure if the opals are real. I will definitely come back. It is immaculately clean and everyone was very knowledgeable and kind. the shop was very busy and my appointment was at 430. I wasn't pierced until 515. Please make an appointment rather than walk in. read more

I was so nervous going in to get my second earlobe piercing because I'm a baby when it comes to needles but I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience. Nick took such great care of me and was extremely careful about explaining each part of the process with me. He was very kind and calmed my nerves by talking to me and keeping things light hearted. He didn't surprise me with the needle and made sure not to rush the appointment. The piercing was quick and painless and I'm completely satisfied with my experience. I've had 2 piercings done at Golden Moon Piercings and both experiences were nothing short of amazing. First appointment was for a nip piercing and Amanda answered all my questions and more importantly put me at ease through the entire process. Hands down I knew that I'd return to Golden Moon for any other piercings. Just got my conch done today and looking forward to other piercings in the future. ‼‼ STOP READING REVIEWS AND BOOK AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT NOW!!! YOU FOUND YOUR SHOP!!! ‼‼ I contacted something like 5 tattoo shops the day of my MRI appointment when I realized I couldn't remove my helix jewelry myself. Finally one referred me to Amanda at Golden Moon and I'm SOOOOOOO beyond happy. I was able to book an appointment online with ease. Probably the easiest booking system I've ever seen. I got in by early afternoon on my lunch break for her to pull it and place a plastic retainer in for the MRI. The next day I went in and figured I would change the jewelry since I really should've to begin with. WHEN I TELL YOU THEY HAVE THE BEST SELECTION OF EARRINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN, I REALLY MEAN THEY HAVE THE BEST SELECTION OF EARRINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! They also had navel rings, lip rings, etc. They do WAY more than just earrings! I don't know the full scope but you should totally call right now! I was able to work with Amanda the first day and then Nick the next day. Both are them are just amazing people and I'm so happy I've found their shop! Don't get me wrong, I love my tattoo shops too, but it's so nice to see a specialization in curated earrings. Im not great with "design" and Nick was so helpful! The studio is clean and spacious. The front desk associate was so patient and answered all of our questions regarding the various beautiful jewelry options. There's only one bed in the back, so she only pierces one person at a time. Amanda is super quick when it comes to the piercing portion. She pierced my conch and it was over with after taking a few directed deep breaths. She told me we were all done before I realized she already put in the new jewelry and everything! Their location is upstairs in the plaza, just a little past the sign for the dentist. They don't have the shop sign outside up yet, so we thought we were at the wrong location for a second. They're also very thoughtful by sending us home with a free complimentary bottle of piercing aftercare spray (something Nathan's would've charged us for) and a notecard with aftercare instructions AND the measurements of our jewelry! I have NEVER experienced a piercing shop that is this thorough, clean, and calming all at the same time. I will definitely be coming back here for more future piercings and absolutely absolutely recommend going to her!! read more

I've been getting piercings from here for two years and just wanted to shout out Amanda and Nick for their awesome work. I've gotten a tragus and nostril piercings from Amanda and a conch and daith from Nick, and all have healed terrifically. Amanda is so cool, and it's awesome that she started this shop which has become part of the community. She has a great attention to detail with placement, and placed my nostrils and high nostrils perfectly. Nick has fantastic taste in styling jewelry, and has a chill, friendly vibe that adds to his great piercing skills. I especially appreciate the focus they both put on proper aftercare, and all the tips and tricks they gave me for healing well. I just can't say enough good things about this shop. I had contemplated getting my lip pierced for some time. I did my research on the location of the piercing and piercer. I decided on Golden Moon Piercing because the website was very informative. I scheduled my consultation and piercing with ease on their site. I arrived with my daughter, who was also getting a piercing, to a very clean and beautiful shop. Amanda was patient with our questions, professional, and a nice person. She had several different jewelry options. All of them are beautiful pieces. It was the most pleasant experience. She prepared me about the swelling. I swell a lot normally so I had to return for a resize at no charge a few days after. I went back after 4 weeks to get resized after all of my swelling went down and bought 2 more jewelry pieces. I have found my piercer because after this experience how could you not want more? read more

We saw Amanda today for my daughter's ear piercing. I can't even say enough good things about her. She is wonderful. Warm and inviting, but very professional and clearly fantastic at what she does. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

Way to be a boner killer on something we were excited about. I guess he wanted to have something cooler, more hard core to come sit in his chair that day, maybe a $1000 tattoo would have had him interested. It didn't matter that we could be long term customers who would spend $1000 on tats... nope... he wanted something bigger and better that day. I hope he got it! Thankfully we were able to find another guy who was happy to take our money from a different tat shop. Here's some business sense... If you choose to not take care of people with the small things, they won't trust you for the big things.

I was very nervous about going because you never know what you're going to get at a new place. The parking is a bit of a challenge because it's a very busy shopping plaza. I was able to get a spot as someone was just leaving. Walking into Top Nails, it is a very busy business but everyone was happy, so that's a good sign. My tech was a bit late, but Steve came to file off my nail color and prepped my nails, apologizing for them running late. I didn't mind, but his concern was appreciated. My appointment was with BinZ who was very friendly. I needed a bio gel fill, and he really impressed me! He was very thorough, and did a TERRIFIC job! I booked another appointment with him for 2 weeks later. He will definitely be my go-to person! My only negative experience was when I went to pay. There were at least 3 girls behind the counter doing their accounting for the day. Not one of them addressed me or offered to assist me after I gave them my charge ticket. (Note: They take cash, check or Zelle only since they don't have card reader.) Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure how to proceed but soon figured out that I could use their tel# or QR code to Zelle them. Overall, the staff is very friendly. I am going on a trip tomorrow and decided I wanted to pay to get them professionally done for the occasion to treat myself. This was a very good reminder of why I do them myself now... The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache.
