I saw the Golden Nail on Instagram and figured, "Why not treat myself for my birthday?" Let me tell you... this was definitely a treat yourself kind of vibe! I got a mani with Mia and a pedi with Tammy, and these ladies definitely know how to give you the Princess treatment. I went with the champagne and rose pedicure! Wow! It was a total spa: sugar scrub, champagne rose rinse, collagen socks, warm towels and hot stones. What's not to love! For the manicure I chose the Zen builder gel. This one has literally become my favorite because I've noticed my nails have gotten stronger as opposed to brittle and that's a win in my book! I am also loving the chrome look so fun! I catch myself staring at my nails every five minutes definitely obsessed! Bonus points because they weren't packed on a Saturday, which made the whole experience feel so relaxing. Is it a splurge? I've visited this salon five times. Initially, I was impressed by the modern atmosphere and complimentary beverages. However, by my fourth visit, I noticed that the white chairs in the lobby were looking extremely dirty. When something that visible isn't being maintained, it naturally makes you wonder about the cleanliness and upkeep of everything else. For such a new business, it seems to be declining much faster than expected. As for customer service, it appears that the best treatment is reserved for customers spending large amounts of money or those requesting certain technicians. I specifically requested Brenda, an amazing nail technician who happens to be Hispanic. The moment I asked for her, the receptionist visibly rolled her eyes and appeared annoyed. She directed me to sit in the front area, while I noticed other customers arriving after me were seated comfortably in the booths. My biggest concern is pricing transparency. During my most recent visit, I was charged $110 before tip for an overlay, cat-eye polish, and a simple design. The receptionist broke down the charges as $40 for cat-eye, $25 for the design, and $15 for chrome. The chrome charge only appeared after I questioned the total, which made me feel like additional fees were being added to justify the price. I genuinely believe I was overcharged because I requested Brenda. To put it into perspective, the customer sitting next to me paid only slightly more but had significantly longer nails and a much more intricate design. Because of this experience, I strongly recommend asking for a complete price breakdown before sitting down for service. This business has potential, but inconsistent pricing and poor customer service at the front desk will hurt its reputation if not addressed. I am giving it one more opportunity because Brenda does excellent work, but management should take customer concerns seriously and ensure pricing is fair, consistent, and clearly communicated. read more

Unfriendly and incomplete service - would not recommend this place! My friend and I needed our nails done for a wedding, so we decided to give Golden Nail a try. She wanted a gel manicure and I just needed a basic polish manicure. We were "greeted" by a guy who immediately started to push a pedicure too and rolled his eyes when pushed back and said we only needed a manicure. We were sat down and ignored for a while, and not even offered a drink that they advertised as a part of their hospitality. Two manicurists finally came and started shaping our nails, then impatiently pushed us to pick our color, then went straight into painting before doing ANY cuticle work or the massage that was listed as part of the treatment. They were done in less than 15 minutes and then disappeared. As a business, don't offer services that you won't deliver on! This was a super uncomfortable and disappointing experience. We definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else. read more

The owner is rude.. She disrespected one of her employees in front of the whole store for wearing a long biker shorts down to her knees while the owner is wearing skirts with her butt literally hanging out... she also charged me $400 for two fills and two pedicures which is just outrageous. There was nothing huge done to my Nails or my friends and Nails. There should be no reason why I paid $400. The guy was going to charge me and she literally pushed him out of the way and started adding on all kinds of things. I will never go there again and I will make sure that I do not recommend them to anybody and I will post about it everywhere the most rude, disgusting owner I've ever met in my life... To add to everything I had to go to a whole Nother place and pay for a whole new set of nails because after paying $400 for my nails, they looked like crap. I wish I would've taken a picture. The polkadots were not polkadots. They were all smeared together and my whole left hand didn't even get a clear coat over the top it was tacky. Everything was sticking to it. The salon itself is really nice and has a good atmosphere, but unfortunately I've had multiple bad experiences with one specific employee. He is extremely rude and makes me feel uncomfortable every time I've had him do my nails. He is also very rough, and he has hurt me while doing my nails on more than one occasion. I understand that doing nails can sometimes be uncomfortable, but there is a difference between that and being unnecessarily rough or hurting a customer. I've tried to be understanding, but the way I've been treated has made me not want to come back if I have to have him do my nails. I really like the salon itself, which is why this is disappointing. I just wish the customer service and treatment from this particular employee matched the nice environment of the salon. read more

The staff are not welcoming at all. They did not offer me a complimentary drink as listed as part of their service, however they offered all the other people that walked in after me. When I got seated, The girl was really rude. I asked her what packages they had for a pedicure and she said " Didn't you look at the menu " and pointed to a menu that a lady had next to me which I did not see. She gave me the colors they had and asked me to pick one, she kept rushing me and asking me multiple times if I had already chose a color. Once she started the pedicure, she cut my toes multiple times. She only apologized once. She was very unprofessional & getting frustrated because she couldn't put on a glove. That had a rush when I walked in was immediately seated with water that was boiling hot to which it made my feet turn red. Older lady was clearly in a rush throwing my feet around, tapping me as if she was annoyed. She made snarky remarks about me just getting a regular pedi as compared to the ladies next to me getting a "fancy pedi". They were also extremely detail oriented and actually cared about my opinion of their work. I honestly rarely leave reviews, but I was so disappointed by my experience that I felt I needed to share it. I came in wanting a simple set of matching red nails and toes with chrome for my birthday as a way to treat myself. Unfortunately, my nails and toes did not match, and it became clear that the staff did not know how to properly apply the chrome finish I requested. Instead, I was repeatedly encouraged to add glitter, which was not what I wanted at all. I also felt overlooked during my visit. I wasn't offered one of the complimentary mocktails until the very end of my service, while other customers who arrived after me were offered theirs right away. Whether intentional or not, it made me feel uncomfortable and unvalued as a customer. The pedicure was honestly the worst foot massage I've ever received, and when I expressed that I wasn't happy with my nails, I felt pressured to accept something I didn't ask for rather than having my concerns addressed. Throughout the process, staff members spoke to each other in Vietnamese while I was visibly unhappy, which added to my discomfort because I had no idea what was being said. What shocked me most was the final bill: $190 for a service I left completely unsatisfied with. But I'm only giving it 3 stars because one, pricing was pretty high, of course all depends what your getting, and two when going to pay, the little short man is super snobby, I didn't notice anywhere that said they charged for using a debit or credit card. Maybe I didn't see it. Once I saw the additional charges on the screen in front of me I asked "you charge for using a card" his response was utterly rude and basically said "you pay card I charge! You pay cash no charge". It was the snobby attitude that makes me question if I'll go back. We're paying a decent price for the services as is and then you want to charge a percent of the total for a surcharge. Not a set .25 or .50 cents. A straight percentage of what you're spending. I hesitated in putting in this review as I have been there before and had a great experience. My experience on this last Saturday was not so much. I called in to see if there was any availability as I wasn't able to make an online appointment and was told to come on in they could take care of my mani and pedi. I let them know that I had been doing yardwork prior to making that phone call and realizing that I could go straight over there to get my nails done and explained that as much as I scrubbed my hands, there was still some dirt under my nails. so given that little piece of information when all was said and done, the nails were not cleaned on the underside, and there was no cuticle trimming done. as far as I know any manicure should include cuticle cleanup. I was very disappointed and I'm really not certain I will be returning. They are a bit more expensive than the previous place that I went so I'll have to consider all of those things. read more

Upon walking in , the place is beautiful and clean but it smelled very strong of incense. So if you're sensitive to smoke be advised. Michael helped me and he was very professional and kind. However, one of my nails turned out crooked but he was able to fix it. He did take a while and he seemed to be fairly new. My only concern for this place is the pricing. Prices are EXTREMELY high for this area. I'd say about $10-$15 more than anywhere in this area. I got almond shaped pink nails with pearl chrome and it came out to about $70. Hopefully they adjust their pricing otherwise I'll stick to other ES nail salons with reasonable pricing. read more

This place opened October 15. I walked in today and was immediately greeted. Staff guides you to check in. The waiting area is lovely and you have the opportunity to get a canned drink, mocktail or drink. A drink came with my pedicure package. They have several packages, all reasonably priced. They have great options for polish. They used a fresh scrubber and nail filer. They were organized in their method of completing the pedicure. The gentleman, Tony, did my pedicure was skilled and very well. Clean, hospital, skilled, and professional. 10/10 recommend. read more

i made an appointment for a fill at this place it's not my usual place either, my nails are always basic i am a simple short nail french girlI asked for a small flower on one nail no bling no extra nothing just a basic french. When i was priced when setting my appointment it said fills $40 + so i figured at most maybe 65$ for my basic that i always get. When i was going to pay lady was not giving me a price she kept looking at my nails then said $96 i looked at her and said for a fill, she said this is not a full set i said no it's a fill. She started yelling at the person who did my nails and then said ok $80 with an attitude. I was paying and lady left me stand there i didn't know if i was done paying at first she didn't offer receipt nothing walked away. The lady was mad that i questioned the price because how can you price me $40 for a fill and make it go up to $96. i don't think i would ever return to this place.
