The Edgewater sent us to nights likely from some slot play on previous visits where we stayed at the Aquarius. I just want to be able to give anybody who's not been to Laughlin and looking to stay in one of the hotel. I feel that they could have more restaurants. The rooms are nice however I found that the sleeping mattress was a bit on the Warren side. We did have a king bedroom with a view of the river. They just do not have much selection in a restaurant. No refrigerator, which was disappointing. read more

Stayed for 1 night at the Edgewater while on a road trip and passing through Laughlin. This was my second time staying at the Edgewater but it has been years since I was there for an overnight. I booked a room through Expedia (love Expedia!) and it cost $44 for the night including a $25 resort fee...I couldn't beat that! Upon arrival at the Edgewater entrance to check-in I was happy to find that there were a lot of handicapped parking places with no restrictions on how long we could park there so I was able to get a parking spot near the entrance for the entire stay. Then I used a bellhop to transfer the luggage to the hotel room and he was quick, friendly and very careful with the luggage. He followed me up to the room with my luggage so that I didn't have to wait for them to deliver which is typical. The room was clean and provided the necessities. Remember, I paid $44 including the resort fee...I was not disappointed. I enjoyed my stay overnight and the next morning called a bellhop who immediately came to the room and I joined him as he took the luggage to the car. Again he was friendly (a different bellhop from the day before), quick and careful and he put items in the back of the car. Las Vegas is getting a bad wrap for higher costs. Consider a visit to Laughlin and stay at the Edgewater. read more

There are inexpensive dining options at the resort including PT's Express, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, Denny's, Stockman's Steakhouse, and Pinkbox Doughnuts. Good selection of slot machines and other gambling options. Get the True Rewards loyalty card and it is good at Edgewater and the Aquarius next door as well as The Strat in Las Vegas. Room was so dusty that when I walked in I thought about leaving but reconsidered when this was a last resort on a holiday weekend when everything else was booked. So I dusted. I picked up paper towels that were actually laying by the bed from? Housecleaning? Last guests? Who knows. This has to be one of the most disgusting hotel rooms I have ever been in. Security was unprofessional and couldn't (or wouldn't) be bothered with my question because it was 6:57am and they (all 3 of them doing nothing) said I had to wait for the shift change at 7am. The only positives here for my 1 night stay (thank God) was that the front desk was pleasant and professional as was the bartenders at the River Run bar. I don't gamble so no idea what that's like. THE EVERYTHING RESORT! The Edgewater has quickly become one of my favorite places in all of Laughlin. It's got a 24/7 Denny's, massive pavilion for live concerts, cute arcade, several trendy bars, and Vegas' PINKBOX DONUTS! I haven't even mentioned the other food options like Capriotti's and the Edgewater's assortment of restaurants. The Edgewater has a dock where tours and water craft rentals are easily accessible. I love how there's plenty of great views on the property of the Colorado River. I stopped by during the evening after a Everclear concert at the Edge Pavilion and the vibes were great upstairs. There was a hilarious MC with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I also want to give a shoutout to the Edgewater's adorable mascot Blingo! The marketing at Edgewater is chef's kiss. The casino floor and most of the interior looked fresh, however I would advise management to remodel the external build to attract more people. Came here on a family trip and was extremely disappointed once again. This was my second time staying at the Edgewater and I will definitely not be staying again. I know that Laughlin is not nearly as luxurious as Vegas which is why the rooms are usually free when you have a players card but the hotel is honestly a wreck. The rooms do not include any amenities at all. You don't even get a mini fridge and both rooms we had in my family smelled terrible. They had an offputting Sewer smell to them. The most frightening part were the elevators. Anytime we went inside them they were constantly bouncing even as they were moving to the next floor. I didn't feel safe at all and the ambience did not make it feel like a vacation or getaway. read more

After reading the reviews, I'm not the only person this has happened to. They need to have a law suit filed against them. They charged $595.00 saying it was for the smoking/vaping sensor going off in the room. I'm a non-smoker and non-vapor. When I said please come to the room so I can prove by the smell that there was no smoking in the room the manager on duty refused. Saying that the sensor was proof enough for them and that there wouldn't be any smell (Ummmm if there is no smell, what are they charging this fee for?!). If you go to this hotel make sure to have a camera in the room for proof you didn't smoke or vape. Be careful if using spray deodorants or air fresheners in the room that give off a vapor because they don't care of the difference if it sets off the sensor. Since they had my credit card info there was nothing I could do about the charge. So watch out for this hotel's SCAM. read more

The front desk workers were nice . But the hotel starting from the elevators up need to be upgraded asap. Especially for the price they are charging. Our room was very outdated and the mattresses were really bad. We could hear the springs inside . The bathroom was really dirty. We received a free night offer for Edgewater, so we stayed there while in town to see The Nutcracker. When we checked in, Hilary at reception helped us explore upgraded rooms. This is a older hotel, so we wanted to look at options. We decided to upgrade to the spa suite, which was generous in size. Although dated, the room was clean amd comfortable. I especially appreciated the large in room refrigererator. Service throughout our stay was quite good, beginning with Hilary at front desk. All of the employees we interacted with were professionally and polite. Our stay was in December, and the hotel was decorated for Christmas. Security was excellent, with armed security officers noted throughout stay. The boardwalk by the river is a great place to walk. It all depends on the type of vacation you are looking for. Yes, Laughlin is less glamorous compared to Las Vegas, but it's a nice change once in a while and a good value ( and far more relaxed atmosphere). Laughlin reminds me of Las Vegas 20 years ago. We have stayed at a few of the hotels, and Edgewater is a solid choice. The upgrade fee was worth it for the larger, nicer room. Be sure and get a player's club card if you plan to gamble. We don't spend that much money gambling, and still received valuable offers in the mail. Overall, this was a 4.0 experience. read more

This used to be our late night roulette spot. We've met really cool and fun couples at the roulette table over the years. So when the wife and I got the chance to play, we headed right for our usual spot. However, we were confused. We both said to each other, I know the tables were right here, right? So after flagging down a hostess, she told us that we weren't losing our minds. The table games were taken away August 11 of this year. Many people were laid off, too. Well that sucked. I was worried my chips from the last time I played wouldn't be cashed, but the cashier smiled and said she would gladly cash out my chips. She also said that all the table games were at the Aquarius now. Things are getting sad. They closed the Colorado Belle, now they've taken away the table games. As much as i wish as I had a good experience, like to say that Dennys Restaurant or Pts fast food, was good. The only thing great in the hotel, Is the Pink Box Donut place located in the hotel. When our room was ready, Room 2907 on the second floor, dirty, and not persentabeme, there was spiderwebs on the ceiling. There was chunks of missing paint on the in the bathroom missing bathroom shower was dirty. The were sticky. We thought we were getting a room that would've had a refrigerator a microwave and a coffee maker no. The rooms that were marked could smell smoke still on the casino gambling floor. You could smell smoke even non-smoking had trouble with the card key that you insert into the game's. No accessible outlets close to the or the bed or cabinets flatscreen TV on it. I would not recommend this place... I can't believe they don't have any tables at this casino. No blackjack no craps no roulette nothing. You have to go to the Aquarius if you want to play any kind of tables I had the worst luck on any machine I played there. I had much better luck playing at the Aquarius and the Riverside. read more

Im not sure why the ratings are so low but we had a very nice time. Nice room also. The bathroom needs updated, especially the showers. The beds were a bit to soft but it was nice and quiet. The ladies on the floors are super fast with drink deliveries. I saw so many people that didnt tip though. So do better people. Also they only have truly drinks instead of white claws so I didnt order drunks but the hubby did. I brought my own claws. These ladies walk their butts off. Even if you just tip a dollar its better then nothing. We ate at the steak house. I had the cowboy nachos and it was the bomb and hubby had a yummy steak for his bday on Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back. Also we visited the pink donut shop. The coffee sucked but we did buy a donut to take home to our son. read more

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very upsetting experience. I was charged $729 fee for a smoke detector incident that was not my fault. My partner and I don't smoke at all, and we were not in the room at the time the alarm supposedly went off, we have proof. When I spoke with the hotel manager, I was told the same issue happened in about 30 other rooms, which makes it even more concerning that I was still charged. Despite explaining this and proving information supporting my case, the hotel has continued to charge me and has not been cooperative in resolving the situation. I am extremely disappointed with how this has been handled and would strongly caution others to be aware of unexpected charges like this. My review is just based on exploring the hotel and gambling for a while in the casino. We were spending the day in Laughlin during our recent trip to Las Vegas, and just wanted to check out the Laughlin casinos. This one is not new but it's not old and it was a decent place to gamble. They have a big bingo hall and a place for entertainment, but I honestly don't have any knowledge of the rooms. Very disappointed with the customer service from the manager/front desk staff. Before checkout, I requested an item that was supposedly already delivered to my room, but I never received it. I went downstairs because it was not there, and instead of helping, I was told I had to go all the way back to my room just to get it. When I asked if they could simply give me a bottle of water to go since I was already downstairs, the response was, "Unfortunately, no." I left my jewelry in my room and started my travels back before realizing it. I knew exactly where I left it. I called and security kept giving me the run around. They kept telling me to wait for housekeeping to report it as found. I kept calling...same reaction. I don't understand why they didn't just go get it. And of course housekeeping said there was nothing there. I 100% know that I left it in my room. This was not regular jewelry either. It was my wedding rings and other sentimental jewelry. They have no cares to that though. I was even told that there was no manager on duty....during the Labor Day weekend. I'm currently in the process of an investigation with the police. We are never going back. Also, my friend's room was dirty, they had no other rooms and they didn't get anyone to clean the shower for the whole weekend. It was gross with all kinds of hair in it. Edgewater in Laughlin, Nevada is a run down hotel that should be shut down by the state. My room had so many issues. 1) it wasn't cleaned from the last person, 2) the plumbing had issues. Upon arrival to check in the internet was down... that was not our fault they should have just giving us out room since we had already paid in advance the staff was very rude and seemed very unprofessional! We understand it was stressful situation but we had traveled from far. It took us about 2hr to check in due to looking for ATMs to get money out! Came here for the weekend to see Air Supply and my best friend and I went in halfsies on our 2 Queen bed room. The beds were the BEST part of this room, as they were VERY comfy! Both of us slept great without fail. The internet works great in the room but NOT in the hallway that leads out to the Pavilion and pool areas. No reception whatsoever! Now, I have to say this place could REALLY use an update, a facelift, renovations, etc. It is VERY outdated! The wall sockets will not hold your phone charger cubes at all. We had to use the bathroom socket to charge anything! Speaking of the bathroom, the shower has very scalding hot water and I tried several times to cool my water down so I wouldn't get burned. The cold water gets ICE COLD! There's no happy medium! The air conditioner works great in the room so that is another plus! Now I loved seeing my favorite band play in the Pavilion tent. The ONLY problem was when it got super hot in there and we were all hot. I felt bad for our drummer because he was sweating to death under the lights! I don't recall air conditioning coming on either! Everyone here is very helpful & friendly. I do commend the staff here! They made my first time in Laughlin an enjoyable one. Bed bugs. Need I say more. Mattress looked at least 10 years old. Shower would back up every time we used it so you would be ankle deep in pubic hair not your color. Bathrooms outdated. Rooms are dirty dark and dank. The TVs, amenities, mattresses, and light fixtures are all old and need a refresh, especially the carpets. If you like motel 6, this place is possibly ok for you. Don't expect professionalism at the front desk. We were told flat out "'no late checkouts on Sundays". There are still odd folks posted at the various staff positions. Oddly, the best and kindest staff were all at the rewards club desk during the day. Family likes staying here for cheap rooms and the pool. I stayed at Edgewater for two nights in September 2024. Do not waste your time reading all of the negative reviews. I had an excellent stay at Edgewater. I arrived on a Sunday. The casino was busy for all of the NFL games going on. Despite the busy crowd, my room was ready early and I found comfortable parking in the parking garage. The garage was very nice and I felt fine leaving my car there during my stay. My room was on the 17th floor of the larger tower. The room was very basic. The bed was king size and very comfortable. While it wasn't fancy, my room was clean and I felt good staying there. The floor was very quiet. I did pretty well in the casino playing slot machines. The rewards card at Edgewater is also accepted next door at Aquarius. I walked over in the middle of the night and won some money over there. I liked how clean the casino is. It doesn't smell like cigarettes very much. My only complaint about Edgewater is the lack of restaurants. A lot of the food places seemed to close early. I would have liked to have tried the Pink Box doughnuts or Capriotti's they hadn't been closed late at night. I'll probably stay here again. Edgewater is a fun place to party. read more

I would compare this place to Circus Circus in Las Vegas. The casino floor has a typical feel, however the rooms not so much. They are outdated and smelly, with old carpets in the hallways. Our room was dusty, and had a wierd musty smell. Our shower had leftover hairs from the previous guest. And there's no way I would use that coffee maker in the bathroom. Our room had a nice view of the river. We also paid an extra $11.50 to check in a few hours earlier. I concur w/ those negative reviews, as this is exactly what we expected, as this place is not worth the price. The only pro: it's on the river walk. For a bit more, you can stay next door at their sister hotel, Aquarius which is lil more up-to-date and cleaner. The elevators in the hotel & parking garage are old & loud; you can hear the pulleys grind & squeak! So if you're freaked out by that, beware! FOOD TIPS: 4 places to eat: PTs, Capriottis, Dennys, and the steak house. I believe Pinkbox Donuts will open soon. PARKING: Parking is free, however the garage is separate from the casino which is a lil walk, but challenging when its super hot outside. FYI, the PTs & Capriottis are actually exposed to the smoked-filled casino floor. Dennys & the steak house are downstairs. For cheaper eats, I suggest next door at the Aquarius Hotel: there's a 24 Hr McDonald's, Subway, Outback, & a coffee shop. BOTTOMLINE: Laughlin is a nice lil town to get away and be on the river. My husbands parents and I love this place. We always do non smoking room. PSA. This hotel needs to be renovated yes it's very old. TVs are old , coffee machines in the rooms are old BUT beds have always been very comfortable & clean as well as the rooms. We've stayed here every summer for the past 3/4 years it's basic & comfortable. The hotel offers 24hr vale & the guys are super nice if you're nice to them. I really like this hotel because they used go have a Dunkin doughnuts but now it's pink box .
