Cold evening means I need SOUP! I decided to come and try their wonton soup & it came with a set that included an egg roll and shrimp with lobster sauce with the fried rice. We also ordered hot tea!! Perfection!! That dessert was an orange slice shaped like a bunny. Everything was very hot and so yummy. Looks like most people were picking up their meal to go. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. Everything we have ordered has been very good, if not improved, with each visit so I thought I would update my previous review. We were just there and the appetizers we chose (the Scallion Pancakes, the Steamed Chicken Dumplings and the California Rolls) were a great start to our dinner. We all shared and enjoyed entrees such as the House Special Lo Mein and the Orange Chicken. (There was enough leftover to enjoy for lunch the next day.) Great place to check out. Golden One is still one of the better Chinese /American wok houses in the lower end of Bucks County. Definitely a step (star) above the run of the mill cuisine offered by the other old time rice kitchens. While I loves me the high end Chinois now found in Philadelphia Chinatown and a few out of town locations, sometimes I yearn for what I grew up on - the more Cantonese versions made in America to adopt to what was available here rather than the traditional fare from the old world. Golden One and done. Worst Chinese food I've had since I've moved here in July 2025. Beef and broccoli sauce was watery and tasteless. Beef was pale, overcooked and tasteless. Broccoli was decent but the sauce sucked. Got plain fried rice with it. Flavorless and cold. Spring rolls were not cooked through and gummy inside. Not sure how they have a 4.7 rating out of 5. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. We started with our soups which were very flavorful. The Kung Pao Chicken and the General Tso Chicken were delicious. Always been driving past this restaurant and finally decided to give it a try. There's not many good Chinese restaurants in the area and I gotta say, this one is pretty good. I ordered takeout and got chicken and broccoli with white rice and also a side of egg drop soup. They were both really good. That egg drop soup was really delicious. Service was good, ordered and it took about 30 minutes to be ready for pickup. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend this spot. read more

Writing this review after having visited multiple times now. Some dishes, like the house special mei fun have been great, while others like the fried rice in the General Tso's combination special, and the frequently too salty wonton soup, have been "meh". Plus, we have discovered a few errors after arriving home with our take away orders. For example, the last time we visited we got these fried cheese - filled things, instead of the egg rolls we actually ordered. Also, in our experience, takeout service came with a bit of a "just take your food and go" vibe at times. . But, I guess with this type of spot incredible service isn't really the main reason for a visit. Will probably stick with the Chinese food joint closer to home. read more

I happened to be in the Neshaminy area one Saturday and in the mood for Chinese food. This place happened to be across the street and behind the mall. They had a lunch special and my friend and I each tried something different. We left happy with out serving size, quality of the food, and the price. Again it was a lunch special and not dinner. I tried Golden 1 due to reading many neighbors positive reviews via social media. They weren't wrong. I picked up their t/o menu and brought it home. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection! We ordered a bit of everything. They answered my questions and They even changed my General Tso to white meat rather than thigh! Portions were generous, and delicious. We sampled their wings, scallion pancakes (light, flaky, crispy) , and seafood lo mein (husband said the best he's had)! The combination platters included soup, rice, and an egg roll. I discovered something called a Sexy Jalapeño! Do yourself a favor.. try it! My husband tried a selection of Sashimi and enjoyed them all! Our order came with a free roll which was a great opportunity to try those as well! We had leftovers for two days that were just as good, and the Scallion pancakes, Egg roll, and the Spring rolls they gave us for free, reheated in the air fryer perfectly! *FYI: They have Ramen, Hibachi, Lunch specials, and Bento boxes. Cantonese, Szechuan, Hunan, & Japanese. They deliver within 5 miles. (Minimum of $15 with a $3 delivery fee) We will definitely be back! read more

Quick review. Was not reallya fan of this place. When I walked in they were not very welcoming. Then the lady was about to take my order and an older gentlemen walked in and she waited on him as he was picking up. That is fine and all she could have at least said something like let me take him real quick since he is picking up instead of ignoring me mid sentence. I just wanted to order a lunch combination platter (Veg egg foo young) and every chance she got she tried to over price items and add money to my order. I asked for a pizza roll $2.50 on menu instead of wonton soup $3.99 on menu but charged me a dollar more for the substitution and wanted to charge extra for only vegetable egg foo young because I did not want any meat. There was barely any sauce and the rice tasted off. There are plenty more Chinese restaurants in the area but decided to try this on a whim while I was at another store with the kids in the same shopping center. Only thing I can say positive is the dining room looked clean. But work on your customer service and stop trying to rip off customers by upcharging. I will definitely not be back and I recommend you skip this place. read more

My husband and I initially tried their general tso's chicken which was excellent. We placed another order the following week and tried their orange chicken, pork fried rice, egg roll, steak roll, and pork egg foo yung. Each entree/appetizer was outstanding! Best Chinese food take out around. I would highly recommend Golden One. They also gave us a little complimentary bag of spring rolls which were amazing as well. I love it here! We've gotten to-go a few times but I love eating inside. It's quaint, clean, and the service is good. I really like the waitress, she remembers our order by heart. We order take out here on a regular basis. Their food is pretty good. We've never had a bad meal here. The Soups were probably one of their weak points but they've actually gotten much better over time. The indoor seating is pretty large and has quite a few tables and booths. Found the online ordering unfriendly and unnecessarily confusing. Because I ordered online they charged me "a convenience fee"... then to add insult to injury the included a tip automatically.... Why for takeout! So when you pay with a card online , they keep the credit card/ Debt card info on file.... Why? This place is the only place that I go to for ramen. I ordered today the hot and sour ramen with chicken and in all it was $12.67 and I was short in change and usually I always carry my wallet but I thought to bring cash and they gave it to me anyway which was super nice of them! The ramen here is amazing and I recommend anyone in Bensalem to come here for ramen! The staff here is so friendly and this place deserves to always have business. Best Chinese around! Always ready on time, ingredient's are fresh and served at the proper temperature. Personally I think it's because the food here is prepared and cooked without rushing or the usual hustle that goes with takeout. For example, the egg rolls are never dripping in cooking oil, the sushi is rolled tightly and doesn't easily fall apart, the wonton noodles are formed properly so the stuffing doesn't fall out. Also the take out or sit down service is always quick and attentive. The dining room is a decent size and clean. My orders are always accurate and items are fairly priced. Horrible! We all got sick on their food! We only ordered from the combination menu, egg rolls, soup, pork fried rice, shrimp fried dumplings. Everything was super greasy! I think the shrimp in the dumplings may have been turned. I took one bite of the greasiest egg roll ever and spit it out! Couldn't tell you what the mush was inside of it! Completely unidentifiable! Nice place, Food not so nice, I ordered chicken and broccoli with shrimp fried rice they charged 3 extra for the shrimp I would not have mind if the food was good and well portion but it was not $13 dollars for a combo platter, we dined in so my baby scoop of rice was bland and hard my broccoli was so hard I could not eat it and that's that I prefer my broccoli with some crunch not overcooked but that was ridiculous my wife had the beef and broccoli her platter was no different than mine, my daughter ordered the orange chicken that had to be the worst the breading seemed stale and old and not edible the only thing that we ordered that was good was the fried chicken wings. The waitress asked if we would like containers to take the food home I was honest and told her most of the food was not edible she said okay gave us our check for 3 platters and 1 order of chicken wings and 3 bottles of soda $58 dollars we paid and left and will never look back.
