There was some confusion when I arrived as it gave me the option online to place an order for 1. Delivery 2. Carry out 3. Dine in. I placed order to dine in but when I arrived they said I had to order there for dine in. Once this was cleared up I was seated and received my food immediately. The food was hot and delicious. We were the only customers there but I saw a great deal of to go orders being picked up. When the food arrived id wished id ordered much more. Was excited they were back open until we arrived. Had to order from a kiosk where they promptly ask for a tip. Everything I mean everything is served in plastic. You have to get your own soup plastic silverware drink soy saauce. By the time 3 of us were done eating there was 10 pounds of plastic waste on table. Even worse the food was barely warm. Dined,in house,this April. Hostess was welcoming and pleasant. The seating and decor were surprisingly wonderful. Menu is full typical Chinese with moderate pricing. Excellent hot tea to start while choosing a meal selection. Spring Roll was fine but a bit small. Entrees were excellent and could have fed two adults easily. Hot, crisp, and seasoned just right. Again, server was excellent and kept an eye on our table. An active "Take Away" business is ongoing in the background but didn't interfere with our dining. So, it wasn't bad. It was fine. This is your average Chinese takeout place. The door says carryout only, but there is a dining room, and they let you use the tables if you'd like. It feels a little quiet, like you're eating in a closed restaurant. We ordered beef and broccoli. The flavor was good, but I didn't love the beef. The crab rangoons were good. The hot and sour soup was just okay. We paid nearly $30 for essentially one entree and two sides, which felt a little pricey. I'd go here again, but I'm not in any hurry. read more

Have ordered online many times. Each time I order fried rice I ask for extra onion and extra egg. It has never been a problem. This time I called in because I just wanted to order plain fried rice with extra egg and onion, no meat whatsoever. They told me they couldn't do that as their food is premade and they just reheat it. I will never order from them again since they don't make their food themselves. read more

Looking for a new Chinese food place to try in the area and stumbled across this one. Lunch specials are a GREAT price with a great size selection and came out with a huge portion! We were immediately greeted and seated. Service was quick! Water was filled the entire time. Food came out super fast. I think every table was full the entire time we were in here with new people in and out. We will for sure be back and highly recommend it! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which came with a crab Rangoon - egg drop soup, a spring roll a huge portion of fried rice and a great size portion of the chicken that was already tosses with sauce and had bell peppers pineapple and onion in with it. We ordered delivery via DoorDash. First, the good: Orange chicken was very tasty! So was the accompanying fried rice. The bad: In my egg rolls (see attached photo) and my partner's beef and snow peas, the meat was not cooked. The beef dish was rare in the middle, but the spring rolls contained straight up raw meat. Our go to place close to home. We order the happy family, sesame chicken, and crab Rangoon on the regular! The fried rice is not your typical fried rice and it's my only dislike about this restaurant, it's literally some white rice rolled around in some sort of light brown sauce. The portion size was very small with a few peas, broccoli so not sure how they charge the same price for that as they do the fried rice options with a protein. Oh, Golden Palace. What can I say that hasn't been said? Upon moving to Olathe, I was cruising DoorDash when this restaurant caught my eye. Since my family is in the market for a new Chinese restaurant, we figured we'd give it a shot. I will never eat Chinese anywhere else ever again. Quote me on that. We get the same order every time and it is consistently delicious. The egg rolls are crispy, the crab rangoon are savory, the sweet & sour chicken is, well, sweet & sour. The chicken with mixed veggies lunch ($6.00) was ready shortly after I ordered at the table, and included choice of soup (the hot and sour was delish), wonton strips, generous portions of tasty chicken, a good assortment of veggies, good fried rice, a delicious spring roll, and a crab rangoon with plenty of creamy goodness. We decided to come here on a whim and we were absolutely not disappointed. Prompt service, the place was extremely clean, even the water glasses were pristine. And the food...the food was the best Chinese-American food I've had ever in the KC area. The combo fried rice had fresh ingredients. The shrimp was flavorful, the chicken and beef was delicious and tender. Even the egg was flavortown and definitely fresh. The sesame beef was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce sweet and savory. We also got steamed dumplings which were so good we ate them before we could take a picture.
