The folks who run this place seem to really care about the quality of the food and the experience the guests have. Unlike our first visit on Valentine's Day which was very busy, we came back on a weekend evening this fall, and there were only a couple other diners. It seems like "the new normal" is that most business for these mom-and-pop type restaurants appears to be by Doordash, Grubhub, UberEats -- even if they're making plenty of sales, very few people come in and sit down. It's odd. You can no longer judge how good a restaurant will be by how many people are seating having dinner on a Saturday night. But despite not very many people dining in, it's a comfortable, welcoming, clean space. Everything was still fresh, delicious, and very similar to last time, EXCEPT: The main update I wanted to give is that the little "glitches" I noticed when the place was brand new are all gone now. This is just as I expected, but I wanted to let Yelpers know this. So yes, this time the got everything we ordered, we got sauces with the appetizer, and we were given full-size dinner plates. Love those black lentils. Everyone: go eat them!

After a long 5-day road trip with a group of 8, finding Chef Jaswinder's Dhaba was a true blessing…read more We stopped for a quick lunch while our Tesla charged nearby, and it ended up being the highlight of our journey home. We ordered the malai kofta, baingan bharta, mix veg sabji, tandoori chicken, and a paneer wrap, all accompanied by perfectly fresh rotis. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and surprisingly light on the stomach. The Gajar halwa at the end was the perfect finishing touch--it tasted just like home! Chef Jaswinder's hospitality is unmatched. We loved the food so much that we even bought a box of homemade sweets and dinner to take with us, which made settling back in after our trip so much easier. Thank you, Jaswinder! We can't wait to stop by again the next time we're passing through.

I LOVE indian food and know from experience that a gas station location sometimes houses hidden gems. Service was friendly and quick. There is a discount for cash or an additional fee for a card. My friend who was with me wanted some dessert and when I asked for a few, the young lady working the register just grabbed them with her hand. Ooof!! I ordered chicken curry and rotti. I asked for it to be spicy. I am always a little bummed when I order spicy and they don't make it spicy. Much sadness. The rotti was tasty. It had a slightly sweet hint to it. The chicken curry was bland. It needed more love and seasonings. Plus, it was not spicy. If you are looking for authentic, seasoned indian, this is not it.

This place is one of my favorite places in Fresno to grab Indian food. While the chefs in the back…read morealmost seem to be bothered by you when you order, their food is absolutely incredible, and it's worth getting the odd looks! This place is pretty much a hole in the wall, but it has enough space for about maybe forty people to dine comfortably. What they lack in space, they make up for in flavors. Everything that I've ever eaten here has been outstanding and wonderful! I personally think they have some of the best butter chicken in town. Their vegetable briyani is one of my go-to's and something that I constantly order. The naan is always fresh and flavorful and leaves me wishing that I ordered more. This is one of those rare places in Fresno that I have to say, if you haven't been, you absolutely need to go!

The naan was fresh hot and the samosas were big and perfect in taste. The medium spicy was pretty spicy but if you love that then I reccomend. Portions were a good size we got all that for 2 and it lasted us 3 meals. We did order take out but the peoe attending us very very warm and helpful. I highly reccomend and recommend the goat curry just be mindful because like all goat curries, they sloe cook and there is tiny bones but the delicious flavor Farrr exceeds the inconvenience. The place is like a little hole in the wall but really nicely set up with art and really clean. 10/10 and will be back once im in town.
