To my utter shock and amazement, this is the real deal! In fact, the Black Garlic Tonkotsu is arguably the best ramen I've ever had. The chashu definitely is, without question. It had excellent flavor, with hints of cinnamon and a pleasant sweetness. The mouthfeel was truly next-level. The ajitama (soft boiled eggs marinared in soy sauce, mirin, and sake) were great. They went a bit skimpy on menma (lacto-fermented bamboo shoots), but I also just really love menma. The broth was, obviously, the star of the show, and had the rich creaminess of slow-simmered pork that one expects from tonkotsu. I also tried the OMG Salmon appetizer, which is a great deal on happy hour. The salmon was fresh, the cuts were perfect, and the sauce doesn't dominate the flavor. The decor is beautiful, and unparalleled by any other restaurant in West Richland -- not hard to do, but this place would look perfect in any large city. Flying glass fish swim through the sky-high ceilings, and the tables are neatly kept. They don't have a ton of seating for large groups, but there were still a couple of free tables when I got there. They also have ample seating for singles at the sushi bar. I highly recommend this place; it's a hidden gem punching way, way above its weight class. Don't miss out!

We usually frequent here often but had a horrible customer experience today and $300+ later, 1 1/2…read morehours of wasted time we are done with them. We ordered online off THEIR website and were given the time to pick up and confirmation. I arrived to get our food and was told by the owner that our food was not ready and they had no orders. They thought maybe our card didn't get charged so charged us there. While they were prepping our order I realized I had 3 charges from them for our order and showed the owner that they indeed charged me multiple times. She said there was nothing she could do about it because she has no orders. I showed her the website, confirmed it was theirs and their ordering online system. She said again she couldn't do anything and to call our bank. We tell her our bank isn't going to do anything because she just charged us. Instead of figuring it out she gives us the number to call from their website people (third party) who apologized profusely that the owner of restaurant didn't call themselves and confirmed that we had an online order and paid. I had the man on speaker and still the owner was not the kindest for their own mistake. I then decided I want it all cancelled out of frustration that we had been charged various of times, no food for our family in town waiting, and wasted time sitting in a restaurant with no positive outcome. When the owner let the cook know not to cook our food he gave me a lovely snarl. I understand they were cooking but again this was the most unprofessional service we've ever experienced and very sad because again, we have frequented here often. We will no longer be returning and truly hope they fix their system and maybe just remove the online ordering option overall.
