Although I'm not much of a car person( meaning I can't even tell the difference between a Honda and a Hyundai) everything was done by the time I finished 3 levels of candy crush (15 minutes to be exact). This is actually long over due. I've been here a few times and I can honestly say, I've recommended this place to everyone as well as for sure will be coming back. 1. My BMW is the worse for oil changes and it was in need of one. I was actually watching the worker do it and the oil had spilled everywhere because of how messed up the bottom of my car was. But without getting angry or anything the worker didn't hesitate to continue. This was all done in a timely manner too! 2. When there was a problem with my transmission, I had called and asked when I can bring it in and they said I can bring it in ASAP and they fixed it faster than any other place I've been to. The owner Hai there was very helpful and friendly ! He evaluated my car immediately and gave me a fair price to fix it! I came to Van because my husband found him on a fluke and had a fantastic experience. I have been to him twice for an oil change and tire rotation ( which was included). It's really hard to trust shops and their mechanics nowadays, but this shop was highly recommended by one of my good buddies from work. So I brought my car in to get serviced and Van did an awesome job letting me know what was wrong, what should be serviced and the price. I had trouble starting my car and I wasn't sure if it was my alternator or my starter since they were already replaced 2-3yrs ago. It was neither. It was the Idle Control Valve! I notice my car was overheating and had to look for a nearby shop. So I decided to check out Golden State Executive. Van told me my radiator fan wasn't work nor was my A/C. I thought to myself that damn this sucks I'll have to replace the radiator fan. After diagnosing the problem I didn't have to change it. All I needed was a new coolant sensor. They could have easily told me to replace the radiator fan. But they didn't and it was an easy and cheap fix. On top of that they fixed my A/C For free. The wire was cut by the radiator fan. I will definitely be coming back when I have issues with my car. read more

The technicians were very honest. They went above and beyond what i came in for, only an oil change. They check alot of thing like where are some of the leaks coming from, pump my tire, refill my windshield wiper and collant fluid and rotate them. Did not have time to leave the car to repair those leaks. Definitely going to come back have them replace those hoses. read more

I'm always iffy about going to an auto repair shop because of all the stories I hear and the lack of knowledge I have about automobiles, makes me hesitant in trying a new repair shop. I was in need of a tune up for my 04 Honda civic and didn't know where to go, so a friend of mine recommended that I should check out Golden State. I thought I should go ahead and give it a try but in my head I'm already thinking I will be over charge and they will probably try to sale me repairs for my car that I didn't understand and didn't need. To my surprise it was the total opposite,I came in, met with Van, told him that I needed a tune up, and he said "Okay let me take Look", I waited in the lobby for about 15 min and he called me back to my car to show and explained to me in detail what my repair would consist of. Sparks plugs needed to be replace, timing belt and radiator hose were cracking due to use overtime and heat. He even explain to me why those items are important to a car and explained in a way that I could understand. The best thing about the tune-up was the reasonable price!
