I had such a good experience here! A few weeks ago I had a mobile mechanic change my brakes and rotors, and a few weeks later some warning lights came on my dashboard and my car started making a weird noise. Since it was Labor Day, there weren't many shops open, so I called another mobile mechanic just to get some insight. He was super kind and actually recommended this place. I was surprised they were open on a holiday, especially because they were really busy. I got there around 8 AM and they took my car in pretty much right away. They found that some parts from my brake job had not been installed properly by the previous mechanic and got everything taken care of. They were also able to find another issue I've been dealing with for a while, which I really appreciated. I get nervous going to mechanics because I always worry about being overcharged when I don't fully understand what they're talking about. I didn't feel that way here at all. They were patient, explained everything to me, and were very honest about what was actually wrong and what I needed. They were quick, friendly, honest, and their prices were very fair. Mr Ray is consistent - 3 flat tires is the last three trips to Southern California. I was in Fontana and went to good ol' reliable Yelp and found " Golden Tires" a couple of miles south of where I was. Called and spoke to the fantastic Juan who said come on down. I thought I had just one nail in my left rear tire . The very alert Alan spotted another nail in my right one as well. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the vibe, the warmth that I experienced immediately . All the workers just seem calm, happy and just loving life.. Translation and end result - great, efficient, very reasonable( $25 per tire) professional, honest service from Juan and his team as I sat and almost nodded off in the comfortable chair in the waiting room. I was in and out in 17 minutes. Just a 5 minute drive south of the 215 and a minute from Arrow. Golden Tire sets the Golden standard. Good, really GOOD people here! Grateful. read more

This week my father brought his vehicle to this shop to address an oil leak, he is not a mechanic and specifically asked for help diagnosing and fixing an oil leak. Instead of properly diagnosing the leak issue , staff claimed he requested "valve cover repair" which is not true. He works in medicine and does not even use or know mechanical terms like "valve cover". He relied entirely on THIS SHOP's expertise to both identify and address the actual problem. They charged him almost 700$ for VALVE COVER gasket replacement and the oil leak was not fixed. They then refused responsibility and instead blamed my father, no refund, credit , proper diagnostic or fixing of the actual leak issue. IF the shop was unable to properly diagnose or address the oil leak, they failed to clearly communicate that to my father (the customer) before proceeding with repairs. This is absolutely unacceptable. If a customer comes in asking for help with an oil leak, it IS the shops legal responsibility under California Law to properly diagnose and NOT perform unrelated repair and then shift blame when it fails. This experience felt extremely misleading and exploitative especially in a community without mechanical/maintenance knowledge that depends on local shops to be honest. We will be filing a formal complaint with BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) so the state can determine whether this shop properly followed legal and ethical standards. I strongly advise others to be cautious and get a second opinion before agreeing to ANY form of repairs here, Based on our experience we simply cannot recommend this shop for accurate diagnosis or reliable service. If they couldn't fix the oil leak then they should have said NO, instead of performing a repair that did not address the problem. UPDATE: golden tires put on a legal document (receipt) that labor for 1 HOUR was 519.50 dollars. Receipt was also added in BAR formal complaint. State of California limits PER HOUR labor charges. DOUBLE CHECK or file formal complaint w BAR if you need further clarification. read more

My wife was in the area for a doctor's appointment and figured to stop here for an oil change. When she got home to Beaumont CA, there was oil all over the driveway. These idiots forgot to put the oil drain cap back on and oil was spewing everywhere. This could have been really bad. Noww I have engine oil all over the driveway and under the hood of her ford f150 truck. This is ridiculous. What a waste of money. I Highly Recommend this shop. I actually broke down in the middle of the street and had to push my vehicle off the street and had no other choice but to push it into their drive way partially blocking their business. The staff never came out to tell me that I had to move my vehicle out of their driveway. In fact I diagnosed my own vehicle because I am a Master Tech and I spent approximately 2 hours diagnosing my vehicle and never did they demand that I get my vehicle out of there. This is unbelievable and never have I experienced such professional and kind courtesy from a business as a non customer. I passed by this tire shop and called to get a quote. After speaking with multiple tire shops, this one had the best quote and warranty. We met with three friendly staff members. The service was quick and was able to get a new tire installed in less than 20 minutes. We brought another car about an hour later to get brake pads done.
