AutoZone was no help and gave me the wrong information. Crown Toyota wanted me to leave my car for 3-5 days just to run a diagnostic--and charge me $210 for it. Jorge? 20 minutes. He found the problem AND the solution. Turns out it was my battery, even though AutoZone was adamant the battery was good. The best part? Made an appointment for 8:00 on a Saturday, arrived early and checked in on time. I was told it would be 45 minutes. Their website states oil changes in 15 minutes. So basically appointments mean absolutely nothing. As a returning customer I will not come here again since my time means so little to them. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I was told the service would take a reasonable amount of time, and I agreed to wait for an oil change, but the process ended up taking over two hours. During that time, my vehicle was frequently left unattended while staff assisted other customers. I was informed that only two employees were working, which raises concern as to why additional services were being scheduled when existing work could not be completed efficiently. To make matters worse, after the lengthy wait, I was then required to stand in line for an additional 30 minutes just to pay. Instead, I was quoted $630, with the explanation that a mechanic had driven my car and determined that my transmission filters also needed to be replaced. I did not agree to this quote because it was extremely expensive and not what I came in for, so I told them I would be picking my car up. Shortly after, I was contacted again and told there was a "miscommunication" between mechanics. They said a different mechanic drove my car and now claimed my transmission filters were completely fine, and that only a transmission flush was needed. That alone was a red flag. They also recommended a brake inspection, which I agreed to. I then picked up my car. The very next morning, my car lagged badly when starting. The following day, it would not start at all. I had to jumpstart the car, and once it turned on, multiple dashboard warning lights came on, indicating several issues. Prior to bringing my car here, there were no warning lights on my dashboard at all. I checked my battery afterward and confirmed that the battery itself is still good, which makes this even more concerning. Something was clearly tampered with or mishandled while my car was there. This experience felt unprofessional, inconsistent, and honestly alarming. Between the wildly conflicting diagnoses, the inflated quote, and my car suddenly having issues immediately after being serviced, I have zero trust in this place. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My second time coming here , wanted to make a review on my experience , first off , it's really hard to find a honest mechanic / oil shop these days , it's unfortunate but it's the reality . I decided to give this place a shot , and I'm glad I did . They will send you photos directly to your phone of what they visually see and needs repairing . A laundry list of things will either be green which means (GOOD) or red which means replacement . And they do not pressure you to get the repairs but they are very transparent with showing you in a mechanic eyes with all these photos /link sent your phone . Jorge is absolutely a Gem, he represents his company with professionalism and integrity. He's very knowledgeable and kind . Also on TOP of your oil change or / repair you get a FREE CAR WASH (it's still present Oct 2025) Also first time customers usually gets a discount/ incentive . I was dropping off my partner for a nail appointment and had about an hour to kill. Seeing as how it was about time to get an oil change, I decided to go on yelp to find one close by. After being quoted a 40 minute turnaround I made my way there. The price is alright. $113 for a full synthetic oil change for my 2019 Toyota 86. Within reason though I will say that Pep Boys did it for $108. You'd kinda expect a smaller shop like this to charge less. The oil change comes with a 16 point inspection. This is where things get a little questionable. They noticed fraying on the side of one of my tires. They then inform me about the situation as they go over their inspection online. I have included a screenshot of what they wrote on their inspection. As you can see they uploaded multiple photos at different angles and said that all 4 tires NEEDED to be replaced. I thought this was weird as I had actually recently (about 2 months ago) blown out a tire on the freeway and had to get a new one. I bought my car brand new so I also was thinking that all 4 tires needing to be replaced at 50k miles was a bit off but shrugged it off. I thanked them for finding the problem and paid my bill and left. When I got home I decided to take a look at the tires myself. Of the 4, there was literally only 1 tire that had fraying. Each of the other tires did NOT have dry rot and had quite a significant amount of tread left. Not ONE of the other 3 tires had any fraying or exposed wires. Notice how there are 3 pictures of tires in the inspection giving the illusion that ALL 4 tires were fraying and "NEEDED" to be replaced for around $800. I think back to when the guy at the front was trying to sell me on 4 new tires and mounting before I left and can't help but remember how he immediately stopped trying to upsell me when I revealed that I had bought this car brand new at 32 miles. I have included a screenshot of their estimate they sent me below as well. Not only do I NOT need an additional 3 tire replacements, I was also recommended for a Brake flush which I had actually just gotten done last year for my 30k maintenance. Overall, I'm not sure about this place's integrity. At best, they have inept customer service that would charge their customers an extra $600+ in services. At worst, they have a long history of dishonest business practices. Looking through their reviews, many of the 1 star reviews were also about similar discrepancies of $1000 or less with a few also calling this business out on false recommendations. This is enough to establish a bit of a pattern which makes me lean towards believing that this establishment very likely uses shady practices to get as much money as possible from their customers. While I am thankful they caught the issue about the tire as that is a high safety concern, I do have many doubts about their integrity as a business. TLDR; Untrustworthy business with a history of shady business complaints. read more

Driving home from work all the way from Riverside, my oil light turned on (solid). It has been blinking for a week. I know I waited too long to get my oil changed. As I was driving through the traffic, I was searching for a place to get change oil and I came across Rancho Express Lube. This place is near my house and I haven't been here yet. I gave them a call and Noah answered and he was helpful and nice. I asked what time they are open till and how long is the wait. They are open until 6pm and no wait, they will try to get my car done as soon as they can. I arrived there and they helped me out so fast. Jorge was very helpful, welcoming, and attentive. He was also able to help me with my low tire air pressure and diagnose my car's engine warning light issue. He explained details about the issue and how he solved it. He was also able to check the price for a part for my Scion TC. Their price is reasonable. The price for oil change is competitive because you get a free $21.95 regular car wash from Deer Creek Car Wash where they really cleaned inside and out of my car. My car is so old that finding a mechanic that I can trust is a must. This is definitely my go to for my oil change and other car issues as long as it's a service they can provide. I highly recommend this place. Oh and if you recommend someone to their shop you get $15 credit. So if you ever find this review/recommendation useful please give them my name SARLYN. Definitely hands down the best auto repair shop in the INLAND EMPIRE. I've seen negative reviews on this place and I just don't get it. Michael and Jorge plus all the technicians definitely ensure your vehicle is safe and fixed correctly as if was their own vehicle. I overheard several dishonest remarks being made to customers one was an older lady, she asked if there were other options besides synthetic oil change and they told her no. I know that's BS. They could have done a 50/50 blend or conventional. But she didn't know any better. I tried to tell here but I think she was confused and just went with their recommendation . I will never go back. First off first off I made an appointment amazing appointment at 9:00 a.m. at 9:00 a.m. when I get there when I get there they said they have a lot of cars in front of me and I need to come back tomorrow which was Christmas Day it was going to be open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. the bad thing is you schedule appointment the appointment really doesn't mean anything and then you sit there and you wait wait no one follow up with you unless you ask questions there's no TV under there's a screen but it's no TV to watch while you waiting for 5 hours for your car to work though and you have workers walking back and forth but no one's following up with you let you know how your car doing I mean how long it's going to be if you go you need to bring you a book or bring you a DVD player portable so you can watch TV it's going to take a long time it was some people there waiting with me for 2 hours just for oil change. But at the end of it they did a good job and I was satisfied with their work and just take a long time. read more

The service here is excellent for oil changes and basic maintenance... Absolutely avoid the car wash at all costs unless it's the free one that they offer you for forgetting your oil change. I will leave a separate review for the car wash with 0 stars. But for the express lube, the guys inside are super helpful quick nice and explain everything. They also send you a link to show you your cars stats/diagnostics along with pictures of anything they found in my case the engine air filter needing to be replaced was obvious by the picture... They also found a couple nails in my tire and patch that Ordered the part that was needed for the air filter and had that installed all within maybe 45 minutes max. Probably closer to 30... Again I would absolutely come here for the express lube portion, but the car wash is a joke. read more
