We brought our 14yo grandson here for a fade. My grandson even showed the barber the haircut that he wanted. I don't know his name but he wasn't the barber that my grandson (GS) had the appt with. My GS showed the Barber the haircut that he wanted but was told that the fadel was just painted on the person's head so he didn't do it. He cut too much off of the top of my grandson's head even though my GS kept telling him that he was cutting too much off. When it was all done my GS was very very upset about the haircut that he has. He kept calling himself ugly and the bad haircut truly messed with his confidence in a very bad way. I kept telling my GS that his hair will be growing back soon try not to stress too much about it. But my GS now doesn't want to leave the house because he doesn't want anybody to see his terribly bad haircut. We took our grandson to another barber shop show them the picture of the haircut that my GS wanted. We asked him if that fade was painted on. The new Barber laughed and said absolutely not! That is just a very close fade the other barber probably didn't know how to do it. If the barber at Golden Touch Barber Shop did not know how to do the haircut that my GS wanted, we would have patiently waited for another barber who knew how to do it or we would have left and taken him elsewhere. Don't get Tommy if you're walking in. Seemed like he didn't want to service me for some reason and didn't even greet me as I walked up to him. Asked for a fade and my haircut looks like he put a bowl over my damn head and shaved around it. Bald into a fat chunk of hair with no fade. He was rushing and was rough, took the cape off before the cut was even finished ended up getting hair all over me. Been coming here for a little over a half a year and everyone else is great but him. Charges $40 per cut before tip most expensive cut in the shop and by far the worst. I don't ever write reviews but damn it wasn't even about the cut, I've been given not the best cuts here before but still come because it's just hair. It was like he had something against me. This place has so much potential, however my experience with them has been horrible. A few months ago I made an appointment for the first time with Robert the barber & Sandy the braid lady. I made the appointment a month in advance for my honeymoon. It was my first time getting my hair braided as well as getting a haircut from this place. I messaged them the morning of my appointment to confirm, and the owner said Sandy can't braid my hair because she's "sick". They never notified me at any point they couldn't do my braid appointment and weren't even apologetic. Anyways after complaining to him, he said ok fine although she isn't feeling well I'll have her come in just for you as if they were doing me a favor. The only reason I still went was because it was my honeymoon and was really looking forward to my braids. When I got there, the initial guy I was supposed to get my haircut from (Robert) was not there.... They didn't explain why, again were not apologetic and asked what I wanted to do? They then had me wait for some other barber to get cut who did an ok job. Sandy finally braided my hair. Fast forward to today, once again I scheduled an appointment over a month in advance which Sandy confirmed. I messaged her today for confirmation and she canceled without giving me a reason, was not apologetic and had no sense of urgency to make it right. In fact she ignored me after canceling on me. It's sad because on Sandy's instagram she's always posting people on her story of people she braids. My advice, is don't come here unless you are willing to have your appointment cancelled on you without advanced notice or reasoning, and have no sense of urgency to make it right. read more

Just make sure to make an appointment before you arrive, or go on a slow day such as an early weekday when they're not too busy if you plan on walking in. I came back in 35 mins so maybe he thought I was not going to come back, even though I looked him square in the eyes and said that I would!
