They had a horrible accident a couple months ago where one of their employees was severely injured because of their unsafe practices, yet they refuse to make any changes. If anything, things have gotten worse - they are now routinely blocking the entire sidewalk and cross walk - across from an elementary school! - with parked cars. This means kids, including small children and babies in strollers, are forced into the street at the already very dangerous 4th Ave. intersection. According to their employees, the owner tells them to do this. Leaving these cars on the sidewalk is obviously illegal and could result in the cars being towed, so use this car wash at your own risk. read more

Ruined my seats. Think twice before getting your car detailed here. They soaked my leather seats in water and left them completely ruined ... they were beige, and now they're stained black and gray. I'm sad but a 2 is all I could muster. Mostly bc everyone is super nice. I was quoted $275, but it ended up being $326, so I couldn't leave a tip bc $300 was my budget. I loathe crumbs and I purposely took EVERYTHING OUT of the car so only crumbs remained. After the detailing, crumbs remained. I had to ask to have left over water removed (see pic). The mats were thrown in the trunk and were not 'clean' looking (see pics). Runs weren't cleaned....(that's the reason for 2 stars...it's the most basic area). I wish I noticed the rims prior to paying. The car wasn't detailed, just cleaned if that makes sense. I thought detailing meant steak free windows, no drip stains, etc. Alas, I'm still on my quest for a dope detailer for Hans. Yes, my car has a name...lol read more

Gold service interior and exterior job was pretty half-assed and not worth the cost. Didn't bother to clean the whole windshield or roof, wheels, didn't finish vacuuming the otherwise empty and uncluttered car, seats were still dirty, and left lint all over the dash. This is the second time I've had my car washed here. Won't be coming back. The guy running the place (not the owner I don't think) seems to take pleasure in yelling at customers. I get that you have to move things along, but you don't have to be abusive, especially when it isn't even that crowded and the protocol (you get a ticket from one person in one place, take the ticket inside to pay, and then return to your car) is not all that clearly marked. It felt misogynist and unsafe to be there and to be treated that way. You can just be nice, be helpful. Explain what customers need to know, and if you haven't given good instructions, don't get your knickers in a twist because someone takes a beat longer to figure out your system. Get a clue, people, it's a service business. A little smile, a little kindness, and people keep coming back. No matter how difficult it is for you as a service provider, to juggle how long it takes to do it right with how quickly you need to hustle to be profitable, you can't take that out on your customers. "Rude" is the word another reviewer here has used, and it fits. And, after enduring all that, the wash left a few spots I had to clean myself. Glad it's not the only carwash in Brooklyn. read more

Go there for oil changes a full synthetic change gives you a gold wash, I keep my car pretty clean and had removed the mats before I got there. Inside was 30 seconds if that and the outside was fine. Would have been nice if they'd have hit between the seats but I figure its a free service with the oil change. Not sure I'd ever pay for a wash on its own. They get 4 stars for the oil and other fluid replacements. Quick and I've had no issues. They always check the stuff I don't they let me know the cabin air filter needed replacing, showing it to me. On the outside of my car they did a good job but the inside didn't even look like it was vacuumed. All the sand the car came in with is what it had after the wash. I think they do a half ass "good job" but, they really don't care and don't put any individual detail into cleaning the interior at all even wiping things down. I don't recommend coming here if your looking for a deep clean for the same price go to crystal clear car wash in Coney Island...yes it will take much longer than this 10 min car wash and you will have to drive further but your car will be sexy inside and out for a few dollars more or less. For the price I would not come back, ever...it's also not touch free. I don't think there's much noticeable difference between the cheapest car cleaning option and the "gold" car wash from what I saw. I always liked the way my car came out when i went here. After 2020 every car wash seemed to raise their prices which didn't make much sense to me. But still, i saw value in it's basic service, which covered the exterior, armor all tires, mats and interior wipe down. But recently i waited on a long line to get my car washed to find out that they raised their prices again. So the exterior wash for my SUV was 16.95 plus 2.00 for the SUV but here's the thing. Basic Service which is the next service up from exterior is now 31.95 plus 2.00 extra for an SUV. I ended up just getting the exterior, because i was literally trapped in a line and refuse to pay that kind of money for a car wash. When i approached the counter the manager/owner just ignored me when i said "WOW, you raised your prices" he didn't even make eye contact. Shame on you! you must not be paying attention to businesses who randomly raise their prices. I bid you farewell. read more

I've come here to get my car washed several time. My experience with car wash businesses in NYC is more or less always the same: an A-ok, half-assed job for $15-20, depending on whether you also add tires/rim to the wash. Golden Touch is usually no different; some times they do a good job, some times they'll forget to clean part of the dashboard, some other times they would not dry the car completely and you will be left with wet marks. Nothing particularly amazing, but nothing major to complain about it. If anything, they're fast. This would have been an uninspiring 3-star experience, except for what happened the last time I went there. I always keep some spare change in the car: a few quarters one may need for air or something. After getting my car washed, however, I noticed that the spare change was gone. I'm not going to make a big deal out of a buck fifty, but at the same time if you make spare change disappear from my car, I'm not going to be particularly thrilled. If I could give this place ZERO star for the WORST car wash in America I would. I live down the block so I've given it a chance a few times. They barely vacuumed and didn't touch the back seat at all because I spilled soil and it was still sitting there. they were pissed when I told them...they didn't open my trunk to CLEAN ANYTHING. They barely touched the front inside deck and there was still dust everywhere. Unfortunately even when i walk by customers are always talking a rag to their car even after it's so called cleaning. They rush their jobs and could careless what you've just paid. For 20$ I expect a good vacuum, no dust, and no debris anywhere!! I cleaned the car properly in my own after I left. DO NOT COME HERE! TLDR: They stole a new prescription from my car while cleaning. I stopped here last week while running errands. Right before I came, I picked up a prescription from CVS. I left the bag with the prescription bottle on the front seat with two Gatorades. It wasn't until I got home and parked my car that I realized the prescription was gone. I called the car wash and explained the situation. She told me she would check and call me back. She called me back 4 minutes later and said the pills have been located. Went to get them the next day and the owner kept saying they didn't have them. After about 15 minutes they were located. Just avoid the headache of this place. The wash itself was only a 3/10 anyways -- not missing much by skipping this place. read more

brought my literally BRAND NEW CAR here for it's first wash... and instantly regretted it. I was looking for the best reviewed carwash in Queens/Brooklyn (that isn't a $50+ detailer special handwash) and this placed seemed to be the best of a very poor reviewed cadre on Yelp. Noticed that the wash itself has these lower spinning tire washers that also do the entire lower portion of your car so any grit in your wheelwell (or the persons in front of you) can surely potentially do some damage. I think my damage happened outside with guys who dry off the cars... they work hard, but I noticed they use the same rags to wipe the inside rocker panel/door moulding, windows, and on the outside of the car itself! Not only that, but they used the same rags on my car as the one ahead of me, so any schmutz on the last car (including abrasive things) gets transferred to your car... I've included a pic of a long scratch and a chip that most certainly was NOT there when I entered... Never EVER go to this place if you have a nice or new car, they will scratch it (or worse, as I've now read in other reviews) read more
