She convinced me to crown a perfectly good tooth in order to connect to and support the tooth that actually needed a crown. However, when a few issues came up with the crown (a chip, a grey tint that made the teeth look dead), she said that the tooth would be fine without support. I told her that I didn't even feel comfortable biting into thick sandwiches with the tooth. She was very dismissive of my concerns and unwilling to flex on correcting the procedure to be as initially planned/discussed. In fact, she seemingly made up reasons to explain why having two separate/unconnected crowns was better. OK... then why did you crown a PERFECTLY FINE tooth? She pretends to be understanding, but if an actual issue comes up she is rigid at best and dishonest at worst. Today, it is clear that the tooth did indeed need additional support as it has moved and sticks out (either being bonded to that other crown or as an implant which is what I had initially asked for). I will never go back to her. I urge anyone considering cosmetic work to look elsewhere.

I am so relieved to have found a dentist office that makes me feel empowered and aware rather than guilty and scared. However, the transition period last fall was not optimal as it coincided with cracked fillings (originating from another dentist) and a chipped, then broken crown (darn choc chip cookies, cocoa nibs, artisan bread) that needed attention. Really I drank a dairy farm in my youth and I don't eat rocks for breakfast...teeth don't just break! Those were anxious times of no timely dental cleanings, rotating dentists and hygienists from agencies. Even waited in the parking lot with this motley crew. My replacement crown also went missing...guess it was totally done with the I-5 commute. That hot black market illicit cartel of custom made crowns or some squirrel wearing a tiara crown (pun intended). Yes, it was becoming that ludicrous. You have to laugh or break down and cry in frustration. Props go to *Kate* for holding the dental practice together where she even followed up with patients with her own cell phone. She was the main reason to stick it out, especially after yet another mortifying recent dental mishap breaking a front left crown (grapes)! All Family Shoreline Dental is now overseen by Drs. Sammy B.D. Pak and Negin Nazarian. No more revolving door of dental temporaries. I warily saw Dr. Nazarian 4/3/18, but she was professional, thorough, and put me at ease. She reattached my broken crown after Xrays and impressions were taken. She presented my permanent options moving forward. She reattached this crown again on 4/17/18 (baklava). I met Dr. Pak on my dreaded 4/26/18 appointment since I didn't know much about dental implants. Again, the information provided and his demeanor, I relaxed as best I could before the root canal post, dental bone extraction, and the new screw foundation were initiated. The audible drilling sounds were not great and I kept my eyes shut during the two hour procedure. Yes, the local area was numbed up and after was fitted with a temporary flipper retainer. Also, I was placed on short term antibiotic and pain management post treatment. I received a thorough follow-up via email about sutures and completed my one week appointment on 5/3/18. My son has his long overdue dental cleaning scheduled on 5/7/18 (so he will the first to report on the state of their dental hygienists) and my final dental implant session is not until 6/7/18. Seems lame to have dental appointments around our respective birthdays, but dental health is very important. Plus this Yelper wants to eat and resume my social calendar with confidence again! Dr. Pak, Dr. Nazarian, and their professional staff at All Family Shoreline Dental start a new chapter at this current, established location. It has been nothing but positive experiences moving forward.

Even better, they had the technology to do the crown all in one go. The front office staff is so impressive, expedient, and friendly. The best dental office ever!…read more I initially took my mom here right after she moved to the area because she was experiencing pain from an acute issue. Mandy was able to get my mom in quickly and I am so grateful she did. My mom, who is a senior, and who has had really bad. dental experiences her whole life, and has always been afraid of going to the dentist, was treated with love, respect, and warmth. I think my mom almost cried when she left because she could not believe how kind the entire team was to her. We went back for several follow up visits and the team only became more wonderful and caring. She literally looked forward to every single time she got to go because of their character and quality of care. After seeing this experience over the last few months, I switched to their office as a new patient as well. I had an incredibly wonderful visit, with everyone from Mandy at the front desk, to the hygienist to Dr. Tremblay. They truly care about their patients, provide all the information you need, and are truly one of a kind practice. I genuinely cannot recommend a dental office more highly. They have consistently tried to upsell me and my friends on more expensive cleanings when we all just wanted a maintenance clean (you know every 6 months). They have said all sorts of things to make me do it including: - "Sorry we wont do maintenance clean unless you pay us for higher cleaning worth $200 after insurance, because that would be *morally* wrong" - "you are like a person walks in with swollen arm in emergency room for an ointment when his arm is abut to fall off in 2 hrs, so I think you should get the surgery (metaphorically)" Just WOW. 2. Their receptionist literally screamed at me for not showing up (I was out of town for a meeting and forgot, and I was in the meeting during the time she called). I had to hang up due to the meeting. I had honestly had forgotten and she didn't believe me that I was as sorry as she was since I'd like my teeth check-up too. She called me right back after I hung up 3-4 times to scream at me more. Seriously? 3. I have not found their dental service to be better than any place else. They try to flatter up with useless things like "oh nice hair" etc tactics that bad saleswomen do in clothing stores. I'd rather have them focus on real dental work and do a good job rather than wasting my time on insincere small talk. Would not go back, would not recommend to anyone.
