(But also, support local businesses and try and buy classes too if you're able!) I took two classes this week - one with Kathy and one with Brenda. Both instructors were so welcoming and kind. Both classes were challenging (but accessible!). I enjoyed both classes a lot - Kathy's sculpt yoga class had me hobbling the next day, and Brenda's class had me challenging myself to try poses I hadn't before. She also had a message at the beginning and end of class about making sure to focus on you're "want to be" list (strong, brave, kind, loving, etc) versus your "to do" list. I love this. In both classes, it seems as though there's great community - a lot of the women seemed to know each other and were excited to take classes together. I hope that if I were in the area, I could be a part of this uplifting environment. The studio itself is clean, has great AC, and has lots of windows to look at trees while you're trying not to fall over in your own tree pose. They also have blocks, straps and I think some mats available. I look forward to coming here if I'm ever in the area again.

I am now so much more energized & limber after her class. She has a lovely, light filled, clean studio on the second floor. There is plenty of free parking. She has a friendly, helpful assistant & had yoga mats to borrow, & very cute yoga clothing for sale. Overall, an excellent studio to practice yoga. As a chiropractor, I've found that light resistance weight training three times a week for just 20' & yoga for 2-3 days/week are the most important ways to keep healthy, fit, & have lasting energy. Cheers! DocMikeChiro Update: At Brenda's recommendation, I took today's morning yoga class with Dana. It was the most incredible & challenging, intermediate level yoga class I have ever taken. I asked if she had her class on video so that I can share it with my patients and friends who are yoga instructors. Brenda's Uplift Yoga studio is truly an excellent place to practice & improve strength, balance, & focus.

The motivation and programming are excellent, there are modifications whether you have some or no equipment, and they go beyond weight maintenance to include nutrition support and mental wellness. Prime Fitness can help you reach your health and fitness goals, whatever they may be, and you can do it safely from the comfort of your own home.

I stuck with them. Then I moved and have about a 15-minute drive to get to them. I still stuck with them. The creativity of their workout circuits, along with their constructive feedback and familial feeling of the way instructors and clients interact, makes Prime a critical part of my fitness and overall wellness routine. I let my guard down about a year ago and got to the heaviest I had been - 200 lbs - mainly because I wasn't going as often and not eating as well as I could have. Over the past year, with more consistent attendance (3-4 times a week) and calorie tracking, I've been in the 170s consistently for the past few months and maintaining this healthy weight with a better muscle-to-fat ratio, thanks to Prime. Thank you Eric, Christy, Ashley and Matt!!!

He adapts them based on your goals. He is flexible and works with your schedule which is key because I am a busy doctor with a new baby. So I started with Mike as well, as I had always wanted to work with a trainer- someone who really knows what they are doing. And that he does. He REALLY knows his stuff! I have seen such improvement. If you're willing to commit (it's a two way street), he will guide you to your goals! I'm 47 years old, and just bench pressed a new record for me, more than I did in my 20's or 30's. This review is is for the doula services and support groups (becoming a mom and breastfeeding)…read more I like that the becoming a mom group has a rotation of doulas who lead the group each week. That way you end up inadvertently meeting the different doulas. We went with Cara. She has a ton of experience and super chill vibe. Our hospital was not allowing extra visitors due to COVID so we signed up for a virtual doula service. She met with us a few times before the birth to review questions, birth plan, and provide support. She was also available via email for random questions that came up in between. The day of my labor I reached out to her as needed and she guided me through some of the decisions we had to make. Her support made it so that I could better advocate for myself and my baby during my labor. She was 100% supportive of all my decisions and in the end I ended up having a beautiful and quick birth. I am so happy we got a doula and recommend it to anyone no matter what type of brith you are planning on having. I found the groups to be more helpful towards the beginning of my pregnancy, especially as it was a time that COVID was just ramping up. The only issue is that the people in group vary from week to week. I think it would be nice to be able to connect with the same group from week to week so there is some continuity.
