    Spicy Mocha

The Spicy Mocha here is one of the best espresso drinks I've had in 2024. Perfectly pulled espresso, rich chocolate and cayenne flavors, all while not being too sweet. I am not sure which variety of oat milk they use, but it was smooth and creamy. The barista working (I think her name is Penny) was lovely. I needed a small bag of ice for a local event, and she kindly filled up a plastic bag for me without hesitation. Greatly appreciated.

Sometimes, just about every day, around 9am, I'm ready for "second breakfast." I found myself in this situation today while visiting from out of town. I didn't need a a full meal, but a pastry and a coffee-which they perfectly satisfied. There are a few tables and booths with ample seating for the morning crowd meandering to work or having a quick breakkie appointment, which we noticed a few people were doing. My wife and I happily joined in, placed an order and sat in a corner table enjoying our snack. The service was great-they were quick to refill the coffee when it ran low and were cheerful when we placed our order. The raspberry scone was delicious and the coffee hit the spot.

This is a great local spot downtown that you can get a quick bite to eat, coffee, or an alcoholic drink and get some work done on your laptop or meet up with colleagues for a group meeting. I used to love coming here in college to work on papers or homework and I still love coming here to get work done! The food here is really delicious and you can get breakfast-y goodness at all hours! Their breakfast sandwiches and quiche are among my favorites. The mimosas here are amazing and HUGE - the biggest in boise. My favorite is their lavender mimosa-- you have to try it! They also have amazing coffee drinks, and yes there's an option to make it "Irish" by adding coffee liquor. The staff here is awesome! Eddie makes the best mimosas but pretty much everyone I've encountered that works here is really cool and attentive.

Nice little place, fairly busy. Coffees, smoothies, breads, muffins, etc. the bread was great. Bread and coffee was a bit over $6. The hand scribed menu boards were kind of hard to read for old eyes. Not a bad place for a morning snack.

Firts time in. I loved the food. It was really busy and its a small space. It was hard to social distance inside but no one seem to mind. The service was good. I had a chorizo tomato onion omelet and i i was very impressed with how much the onion and tomato tasted it was delicious. I wasn't to impressed with the sliced of sourdough French toast. My boyfriend had the steak omelet and he enjoyed it. The coffee was good. The short stack of chocolate chip pancakes where amazing.

Saturday morning, busy place with excellent service and essential coffee shop foods. Three sandwiches and two coffees was 27$. Kids got caramel macchiato they seemed weak and short of flavor.

Holy cow is this a tasty place for breakfast. I'm talking the best coffee, fantastic food, nice service. The seating is very limited but wait. It is worth it. The corned beef was incredible...so very fresh and salty...perfect. The potatoes and sausage were just incredible. I'm so infinitely sad that we were visiting. It's almost worth flying in just to eat there. Not joking...

Here for the lavender lemonade mimosa. Veeeeery light hint of lavender. If you're not sure if you like lavender, this is for you. If you're a lavender lover (like me) you'll want to ask for another shot of lavender syrup Great service. Great location. Alert: are you a cinnamon roll lover? They have gigantic cinnamon roles! And caramel roles... Pro tip: if you're waiting to dine at Goldy's Breakfast (long lines because it's GOOD), come here to get a starter drink. It'll make the wait more fun. Best part? You can get your drink to go so don't feel rushed to finish it

My husband and I stoped in for a snack while waiting for a table in the main return to next door. I got the strawberry mimosa, he had a hot mocha, and we split a cinnamon roll. All was excellent, but we were too full to eat a big breakfast after. Either way, it was a win and we will be trying the main restaurant soon.

Luckily I was there that day and was able to snag a chocolate bar. I remember it being so good! I thought today was a good day for a sweet treat so I made my way in! My husband's request was an apple fritter if they had any. I came in later in the afternoon and surprisingly there were still quite a few donuts available. I was happy that there was quite a selection still. They all looked so good! Even the classic glazed looked tasty. After looking over the goodies, I decided on a half dozen of mixed donuts. The sweet lady behind the counter was so patient with me as I was looking and second guessing my choices. With the mixed variety you get 3 classic, 2 specialty and 1 extra fancy donut. I snagged a round glazed, a chocolate and maple bar, 2 apple fritters and a fancy donut with cream and strawberries on top. I was planning on giving 3 of the goodies to my in laws. I asked the sweet lady for an extra box and with no hesitation she grabbed it got me. I was able to get my goodies sorted. I dropped off the maple bar, an apple fritter and the cream and strawberry donut to my in laws. My father in law loves apple fritters and didn't hesitate to grab it from the box and claim it right away. 0 He enjoyed half of it and is saving the other half for later. Nothing but great things were said about his treat. I forgot to mention earlier that the sweet lady gave me two donut holes in my box. I snacked on those and mannnnn were they good! They were so soft and sweet. I just wanted a little something so it was perfect! My husband devoured his apple fritter. I didn't even get a bite! I'm happy he enjoyed it! I was recently at Krispy Kreme and honestly the donut I got tasted stale. Like it had been sitting out for more than a day. I only had 2 small donut holes and they blew Krispy Kreme out of the water, it was night and day. I'm happy I got to stop in today and grab some goodies. The donuts were amazing! The service was great! And I got to support a local business in my area! I look forward to coming back and grabbing more treats for my family/friends sometime soon.

On the morning we stopped in there weren't a lot of choices and judging by the size of the cases on the counter that's typical. We tried buttermilk, cream puff, strawberry frosted heart shaped donuts and a glazed croissant. My daughter rated the cream puff donut a solid 5 star! I give major props to that little glazed croissant- it was delicious but I also appreciate that it wasn't huge. I felt satisfied but not sickly full afterward. I tried the buttermilk later in the day and it wasn't okay, the frosted donut for a similar review from my daughter- like, solid food donuts but nothing we couldn't find at the local grocery store bakery. Worth the stop if you're in the immediate area, not a destination spot though.

I have driven by this shop a million times but never got the chance to make it in. After checking out all their photos and goodies off their website, making my way in today was a must. The shop is very small and intimate. You are immediately greeted by all the goodies as soon as you walk in. Colorful macarons, the cutest cheesecakes and beautifully displayed scones and muffins. The display case is nice and bright, allowing you to be able to see the details and coloring of each macaron. The pretty piping on the cheesecake. The fun layers of the cakes. It was hard not to want one of each thing out of the case. It was our first visit for my daughter and I. As a new customer, you're trying to absorb everything about this store. You want to look at all your options! The gal that initially was going to help us pretty much just stood there and stared at us. Didn't really talk to us. Didn't ask if we had any questions. She had the most unpleasant look on her face. It honestly made me feel so unwanted and uncomfortable to be at the shop. I offered to let another customer go ahead of us so she wasn't just standing there waiting for us to order something. The second customer also needed some time. Finally a gentleman came in and she got him some coffee started. Another gal was working and she helped us. At that point, I was so turned off about getting anything but we were already there so we decided to grab a few things. My daughter and I decided to share a 6 pack of macarons. We snagged lemon, birthday cake, coffee, chocolate, creme brulee and cookies and cream as our flavor choices. She also got a red velvet cheesecake for us to share after dinner tonight. On our ride home, we broke that box of macarons open and had to try them all. The lemon was sweet and tangy, I love the lemon custard in the middle. Birthday cake reminds me of a pink frosted animal cookie. The chocolate was my favorite! Very chocolate forward and sweet. Coffee reminded me of a vanilla latte in cookie form. Cookies and cream was much like cookies and cream ice cream. More cream forward and less chocolate cookie. Creme brulee had sugar toasted on top which created a slight bitterness to the cookie but it was balanced with how sweet the cookie was. All 6 macarons were fabulous! I look forward to having the red velvet cheesecake after dinner tonight. I like that there are so many gluten free options at this bakery. I adore how petite and prettily decorated the pastries were. I appreciate that this joint is local as I love supporting local businesses. But, first impressions are so huge for me and my first impression of their customer service wasn't there for me. You can push out great products all you want but how you make someone feel during their purchase can make or break your business. As fantastic as my macarons were, all I can think about was how uncomfortable I was when I was just being stared at. Macarons and cheesecake can be purchased at a few joints in our valley. I'm happy I got to enjoy some goodies with my daughter but I'm going to go support another local business that will actually make me feel like a valued customer and not a bother.

Decor is great, kids loved how vibrant the place was. Ice cream asks donuts looked delightfully delectable. However, a bit of a let down on the donuts. I ended up ordering a basic donut ice cream sandwich for about $6. Which is basically a regular donut split in half with ice cream in the middle and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. However, for a dollar more you can get a deluxe with deluxe toppings like sprinkles, marshmallows and the like. Also ended up ordering a BIG Donut (Salted caramel Biscoff) for $4 and ended up eating part of it. Donuts are not made in house (I don't think. Or least didn't taste like it). The ice cream was MID, as the kids would say, great on a hot summer day (98 deg outside) but nothing spectacular. Service was decent, quick, but definitely can tell the person was bored. All in all, it was a decent experience. If you're in the area check it out.

So on this extremely hot July day, we made our way in for a cold 1sweet treat. This venue has always been so adorable! I love the set up here. The cute wall decor, the bright colors and all the seating. It's a very sweet venue. It was super busy today! We all had the same idea, a cold goodie on a hot day. There were 3 girls working behind the counter and they were hustling. It took a minute for us to get to the register but it was all good! We checked out all the cute donuts they had on display and of course the menu. My husband got himself a simple smashed donut with cookies and cream ice cream. I got a 4 pack of mini donuts and we shared a strawberry mangolade. Yoooooooooo, my husband's donut sandwich was legit so good! The donut was warm, it was coated in cinnamon and sugar. The ice cream was creamy with a good amount of cookies in it. It's a good size treat and as much as we ate, we couldn't finish it. I did eat 1 of the 4 of my mini donuts. I believe the one I ate was maybe a dulce de leches one? It was coated in cinnamon and sugar with a dollop of dulce de leche in the middle. I'm looking forward to eating my other 3 later. That little bite was a piece of heaven, it was so good! The strawberry mangolade was tasty! You can't go wrong with a strawberry mango lemonade. I do wish the drink was a little bigger. It's basically 4 bucks for a couple sips. It was good but just too small. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here today. We even took a couple shots at the claw machine. It would be nice if that vendor doesn't shove the toys in the machine, it might allow people to win some goodies. I'm determined to get that Hello Kitty in that machine! If you're looking for a fun treat with your date, friends or family, this joint should be your spot to hit up. You'll have a good time.

The other person there was great though! I was drawn in by the array of unique flavors and vegan options. I had really wanted to get something boozy and vegan, but they only had one flavor on at the moment that fit the bill and I wasn't particularly interested, so I sampled a few of the dairy boozy flavors and went with a vegan non-boozy ice cream for my actual order because a full scoop of dairy ice cream does not sit right in my stomach. I liked the boozy flavors more but that was only because of the flavors offered - the vegan ice cream itself was great, very smooth and creamy, not overly sugary. I got the float season vegan ice cream: blackberry ice cream with salted dark chocolate. I did still enjoy this flavor a lot. I really liked the crunchy bittersweet dark chocolate bits. I didn't get anything to drink but I was kind of tempted. The ice cream + beer or wine flights looked interesting. I don't know wine well enough to comment, but it looked like they had a good selection of beer with quality brewers and a good variety of beer types. This is technically a Warehouse Food Hall vendor but it's only accessible from the street outside the food hall. I wasted a few minutes wandering around the food hall trying to find it before I looked outside. They have a fair amount of seating inside and outside.
