Being able to play with friends/family is wonderful! Golf carts are available to anyone. I met some really nice golfers during my game at SGGC. The employees greet you with a smile and wish you lots of luck during your golf game. Another great thing is like to share - the bathrooms are always kept up with. For the price, this is an incredible deal, as this is a fantastic and challenging golf course. The fairways are well-kept and the roof has several cuts each with varying degrees of difficulty. The greens are well manicured and the sand is actually enjoyable to hit out of. The staff was great and very attentive to all of our needs. There's plenty of parking however there is no driving range.

Lee Jackson, manager, was attentive, responsive, and thoughtful through the planning process, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Like the good event manager he is, he was proactive, anticipating concerns in advance--he even arranged for my nieces and nephews to have a space of their own to play during the reception. The space itself is a beautiful throwback to Frank Lloyd Wright's take on modernism. The staff was responsive to the needs of our guests, and the food was excellent--more than one person commented that it didn't taste like "wedding food." Many thanks to Lee and his staff for their help in making our wedding so special.

The greens rolled true and were impressively fast, making for a fun challenge. I also spent more time in the bunkers than I would have liked based on how I was playing, but I must give credit where it's due; they were some of the best-maintained sand traps I've played out of. I really liked the overall practice facilities as well. Having a grass driving range, chipping area, and practice putting green made it easy to warm up before the round. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even better. One final note that has absolutely nothing to do with my rating of the course, but Cooper in the clubhouse was a great bonus. Excellent course, excellent staff, and an all-around great day. I highly recommend playing Traditions Golf Course at Oak Lane.
