Working with Nondh Amranand at Golftec has been a breakout for my game. The technology of the launch monitor combined with video replay and Nondh's observations accelerated my game to where I am now eager to get on the course rather than avoiding the tee box. Flaws were immediately visible on the video and results were immediately visible in the launch monitor where I could see the distance I was hitting the ball and the angle of flight. The three forms of feedback moved my game from stagnant to dynamic with improvements coming quickly. Highly recommend Nondh for his great insights and creative techniques to improve my swing.

Therefore I never got to try what they recommended and they charged me $150 not to be able to try what they recommended because they did not have it in stock. The guy that was supposed to fit me could not have been older than 25. He has not played golf long enough to give useful advice. Total rip off do not waste your time.

After some research, I thought @GolfHouse would be a great first experience for him since they offer junior coaching and it's similar to a video game. When I emailed them with questions, they were the most quick and complete in response than any of the other Ashburn area courses. At this point we're 3 sessions in. Coach Ju Hee is very professional and confident, but has just the right style to keep my 10 year old engaged. In each session she has walked the line effectively between correcting swing issues and helping him understand how the game works, while also keeping it fun and engaging for him, which is probably the most important part at this point. The sessions involved 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free time in the bay which I'll sometimes use to take a few swings with my son. So far, this seems to be the right mix. Coach also shared the before/after swing photo I posted from session 2. While I'm not sure if other local coaches have this type of tech, I think this is a significant advantage because of the real-time feedback and insight it gives her into exactly what is happening. It's also great for us to see the progress he's making. Overall, I definitely would recommend @GolfHouse and Coach Ju Hee for lessons. At some point I'll probably book a bay with some of my friends who are more serious golfers during a lesson and see what they think about it.

Under relatively new management. James seems nice, but I haven't had too many interactions with…read morehim. Bays 1 and 3 seem to have GC3 Launch Monitors. In my experience, the first bay has a lot of trouble reading club data even after applying the stickers to the face. As soon as I went down in loft from my wedges, that data was never picked up. In the third bay, however, it read that data around 80% of the time with stickers. The third bay is closer to the window, so I think the natural light helps the camera pick up the clubhead better. The second bay is the one that James has been using for club fitting and lessons. They use Trackman there. The 4th bay is also GC3 as well, but I haven't hit in that spot yet. Golf balls are tour balls, but are a little beat up. I suggest bringing in your own. The screen you hit into is very close to the mat, so expect golf balls to fly back and out into the shop regularly. James put down a pool noodle training aid behind my bay to help, but know it'll happen. The shop also has a short putting green with SAM Putt Lab to help you get fit. There's a small sitting area and some golf equipment as well. Definitely a place I will regularly visit when I can't get outside!

When that customer left they focused back on me like hawks waiting for their prey. Was planning to buy a new full set of XXIOs, but that experience convinced me to just buy it from the xxio website instead. This is what you get when the employees are also the owners - no corporate policies on customer treatment, no consequences on their predatory behavior. PGA Superstore and Golf Galaxy are not only cheaper, but they are angels compared to these hawks. It's laughable.

Since I was a little early and there was junior classes going on , I was told to take a seat until my time started. The seating area had full view of the facilities , water available and a TV where a golf tournament was on. For the ten minutes I was seated , I was watching Steve WenPetren coach the junior class that was going on . He seemed very engaged with each of the kids during practice and seemed supportive while also providing advice. Now onto my lesson. It was undoubtedly 100% the best hour I have ever spent on my golf swing ever. We used the TrackMan to measure swing characteristics and swing data . Within minutes , Kelly had me hitting straighter , further and more consistent with my pitching wedge, all backed up by hard data/numbers. We moved onto putting , pitching , driving and full iron shots , all within the hour. He helped me engage parts of my body to help my golf swing that not only looked better on camera but I can see with the swing data myself. I was also given some tips to take to the range and putting green to improve my game outside of lessons. I was semi-doubtful of how much I could change in an hour, but I was proved wrong and I will be back in the future. Jim was patient and kind to us and very careful and thorough with our young golfer. He took a lot of time to evaluate his swing through several clubs, listened, and recommended, but did not push us past our comfort level. We purchased a beautiful set of clubs, and couldn't be more pleased with the service, expert evaluation and communication from everyone there.
