Recommend this Golf Galaxy! Came in searching for a replacement driver for an outing that was right around the corner. I was looking for a pre-owned club and while they didn't have the largest selection (which is expected for women's clubs) they had a few options. They have really great practice bays to try out clubs, they were very helpful in gauging my swing speed and putting me in the right club. I was impressed with their level of service and helpfulness (I had been into PGA superstore before this and received no where near the level of assistance). The club was a good price based in online comps and I was able to get home and start practicing with it right away, which was great! James was really nice and helpful, which I sincerely appreciate. Prefer Golf Galaxy to the other box store any day of the week. Came in to trade a putter and buy another. Smooth process and the girl that did the trade also gave me a bit extra for the putter. I could have sold the club for more but I just needed a new putter. Thanks! I forgot the employees name. But she was really nice and had the same dry humor as me. read more

I have been shopping this store since it opened. Over the years i have used the services to re-grip my clubs. Always a good experience. I noted some bad reviews about a years ago and was nervous about installing new heads and grips on most of my clubs. It was complicated but JR did an excellent job with all the work. BTW, it is the only place to buy the golf shorts I like too. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not come here if you're a woman! Guy at register made a very sexist remark about my purchase being a "gift because clearly it wasn't for me" I have a single digit index and I can surely play. It took awhile for me to get any assistance and everyone acted like they didn't want to help me. I will never be back and you're better off going to PGA across the street! read more

I found the selection of golf clubs very good . They have high end New brands that you can customize all the way down to basic models and used clubs . My sales person (Tom ) was a true consultant and I appreciated his interest in helping me get the best matches clubs for my needs . read more

Horrible store. Very surprised it's still in business. Addison in club repair is a condescending a**hole who will talk down to you if you even ask him a question. I have done my own club repairs plenty of times as a near scratch golfer, no need to be a d*ck. Spoke to me like it was my first time being in a golf store. Not pleased at all with the service I received. I bought my first "real" golf club set after playing with hand me downs for 20 years. I told them I wasn't sure what to look for and asked for their advice. On the third round with my new clubs the head broke off my driver. Note: 20 years with no broken driver head vs. 3 rounds. They said it was my fault. Ok, I had a friend repair my club. 10 rounds later, no break. Hmmm, maybe not my fault. I think they are really good at selling crap to inexperienced buyers like me. I waited 8 weeks for a set of callaway irons. When the irons came in, the grips were not the same as what I ordered. I spoke with a guy at the store, who told me the grips were the same grips without the alignment line down the back. That makes it a different grip then what I ordered. When I said that to him, he said "no worries". I have worries because I now have to regrip the irons. I would not recommend this location. They are unwilling to correct the mistake they made and quickly went to a Covid shortage excuse. read more

Went in to buy set of custom fitted golf clubs. The salesman said you need to know what clubs you want before getting fitted. I said really. What about using the simulator to know my speed swing and everything else that goes with it. He said we can do that also. Today I am going to PGA superstore in Schaumburg. Worst customer service. I had the intent to spend $$ for a golf set for my mother. The sales guy (apparently a manager) was beyond useless. A fake cardboard box would have been more beneficial. Every time I asked a question, he seemed annoyed or looked down on me. I thought this place would be better than Dick's Sporting, but ended up at Dick's to buy a set at the end. read more

Great service when you're in the store. Very knowledgable pros- both on equiptment and instruction. But when it comes to customer service and responsiveness- repair, general questions, etc. The worst. Any Golf store is fun because of all the toys, but I'll never spend a dime here because of the poor customer service. read more

Always do my golf shopping here. Most recent visit I was serviced very well by Store manager. He fixed something on my 7 iron at no charge and let me test some demo irons. Bought a push cart and he order some shoes from warehouse (he did have the black ones I wanted in store) to be shipped free to house and even price matched a lower price I found. Plus I used my $50 off coupon for awards card members. Nice! read more

Really upset with what I see as bad business. I went in on Monday Night 8-11 and to find very little help!! Was looking to replace my 10 year old driver and three wood and add a rescue club. Well the golf smith there set me up to test some clubs and I had a couple of questions. In the mean time a mom and two sons come in and he had no time for me. Finally he makes a smart ass coment to me so I felt the $600 the lady might spend versus the $875 without different grips I was going to spend meant more to him and the business. Booked a Ping fitting for the next weekend per the recommendation of one of their sales people. Called twice during the week to confirm my appointment and make sure the Ping fitting event was still going on that next weekend, as the store is a long drive for me. Both times I was told yes. I show up for my appointment and am told the fitting event was in 3 weeks. Never again. read more

Help here on a Saturday morning seems non existent. I came in here intending on leaving with a new set of irons for less than $750 if I could find a set I like. I'm still what I would consider a novice, so I could definitely use some help before spending anything close to that kind of money. I walked around the store for 20 minutes waiting for a salesman to ask if I needed help. Had 2 salesman stare at me and then just kept chatting with each other. Left without anyone saying a word after 20 minutes and not too much store traffic in the first place. I'm a 31 yr old engineer, and although I was dressed down for the weekend, it's not like I looked like a teenager that came in to bang some clubs around. I will never spend money at a store that doesn't want the sale. I'll always spend a couple extra bucks for service and for someone that wants my business. This place is pretty disappointing. read more
