I have played here since the year it opened. This was a higher-end course in the day, now not so…read moremuch. The course is unkept, dead cut grass in the rough everywhere, you will need a seat belt in the carts if you ride on the paths. The greens and fairways were not bad but not like they were years ago. One of our carts lost the GPS, the group in front of us had (2) carts go dead on the course...just crazy. I almost felt bad for the course crying for someone to better care for it. Prices are still high. Many of the homes and back yards around the course are unkept... really bad, really ugly like the homeowner doesn't have money or doesn't care. You would think that the HOA would take care of this. I hope someone can help turn this course around sooner before they lose it...

She also had her medical task-trained service dog with her at the time. We are not new customers--your staff has seen us in the store multiple times before, both with and without the service dog--so there should already be awareness of her condition. When we arrived, there were four power scooters available, and we asked to borrow one, as we have done many times in the past without any issue. However, we were stopped by an employee named Neil, and my wife was told she could not use a scooter--even after explaining that she has a metal rod affecting her spine and was in pain. We were then directed to Kristin near the entrance. After waiting several minutes, she called a manager but largely ignored what I was explaining about my wife's condition. Despite clearly communicating the situation--and despite your staff being familiar with us--we were denied use of a scooter and told they needed to keep all four available for other customers. I even offered to leave my driver's license as collateral, but that was dismissed without any consideration. Frustrated and disappointed, we left the store. Afterward, we called and spoke with Elizabeth, who was far more understanding and willing to help--something the in-store staff did not offer at all. We have always borrowed carts from your store without issue, so this experience was both confusing and upsetting. The lack of empathy, consistency, and willingness to accommodate someone with a known disability is unacceptable. I was fully intending to make a purchase during that visit, but instead, we left feeling disrespected and overlooked. This situation could have been handled very differently with even a small amount of understanding and basic customer care. I hope this is addressed so that no other customer--especially someone with a disability--is treated this way. Very disappointed,

We had a group in front of us that was taking their time, yet he kept on rushing us to take our shots. It was rude and really counterproductive. I ended up taking a lot more shots and was even more slower that if he would've just kept his trap shut. I know it's rude for me to say that, but I think the course should talk to the people that are being slow and not rush people that are actually waiting on them. Just my 2 cents.

I did the…read morefull bag fitting and it did take a full 3-4 hours, but the options and the knowledge were incredible. I was most impressed about the seemingly limitless options that would work for anyone's golf game. I tried around 3-4 different heads/shafts for each club choice (D, 3W, Hy, Irons, Wedge) and it was awesome to get immediate feedback in terms of hitting the ball and the stats/info on the screen and through Michael. The putter fitting was more straight forward, but still a cool experience. I would suggest to anyone going in to do so with an open mind, if you know you want Ping or Callaway then I'm sure they can still help but you won't get the most out of your experience. I ended up getting irons that I had never heard of before because they were most consistent. I also thought I would be leaving with 4 wedges, but Michael did a great job designing my bag for the game I have. For instance, I didn't use my hybrid often and it's really just a club to fill in the gap between a 3w and 4i. I also would rather use a 4i off the tee, if need be, since I feel like I have more control. Well, he fitted me for the Srixon Z U85 3i - something I was not previously familiar with to be better off the tee but also get my distance and to land better on the green. I was not pressured into buying anything - I did end up buying a whole new bag - and if your current clubs are the best option, they will tell you so. I got my "Prescription" and data within 2 business days of being there, so if you want to take a stab at building the clubs yourself or comparing more numbers, you're free to do so. It took about 3 weeks to get my clubs, which isn't bad at all since they were custom made for me. The packaging was awesome and every club was protected. I don't think I'll need another club fitting for another 20 years so while maybe a little pricey, I couldn't be happier with the outcome and just knowing that a professional set me up gives me more confidence.

But the True Spec customer service department has completely failed to get the one club replaced. Got my clubs at the beginning of March and here it is mid-April and many fruitless calls later and and no correction of the problem. True Spec doesn't appear to have a professional customer service system where issues/problems are logged into a system, worked on by the appropriate people, then resolved and closed out. But I'm still hopeful that this can be resolved before the Chicago season gets into full swing.

Sketchers have been around for a long time but I think it's because they are such a trusted brand and they make great shoes! It's amazing to see how far they've come with their styles and that their quality is just as good. There weren't many people inside the store which was nice because it wasn't super busy. My bf was looking for good work boots and he found some great pairs! They had an awesome sale going on so he got two pairs of boots for a really good price. To be honest, it's shocking to see others reviews talking about the poor customer service because I hadn't experienced that the last couple of times i was here. This should be a zero-star review…read more I had an incident where a pair of shoes was marked with one price at Sketchers in Vernon Hills and the box had a lower price (#1, first 2 photos). A friend had a similar pair where the shoes were marked higher and the box had both the higher and lower price ( #2). We literally didn't realize the lower price until we got to the cashier. The saleswoman said there had been a price change--an increase. I  asked for a lower price. She said she had seen the one pair on display and it looked defective (#1) so she would sell me that pair only for the lower price.  Shouldn't defective shoes go back to the manufacturer? She said she wouldn't honor the price on #2 (last photo). I asked to speak to a manager. She claimed to be the manager--I told her I was going to film her denying the price and she claimed to not want to be on film and went into the backroom. At this point, I will buy these shoes on Zappos for $90, with free shipping.
