Overall this is a super fun place! We only played mini golf and did not play in the arcade. We did walk through the arcade and it was super overwhelming for my three year old, but seemed to be fun for those playing in there. The mini golf area was huge with three different courses. The landscaping was beautiful and there were some really cool and challenging holes. The bathrooms were fairly clean as well. We will be back! read more

Most of the staff was friendly and we had fun. One complaint I had was that we got 3 4 hour passed, but only got one card. We had to wait 30 seconds between each swipe so we weren't able to play any games together. read more

The mini golf course was a lot of fun! I recommend doing course 3, although it's pretty difficult it was very entertaining. Be prepared to stick your arm in a water feature to get your ball a couple of times. The arcade gives me Chuck E. Cheese vibes. This review is based solely on the fact that they are the only business around that I know, that has tekken 7! OMG!!!! I miss playing that game, back in the philippines it's actually adults and teenagers that play them instead of kids, they are around the malls arcade and whenever we play, there were a lot onlookers, and sometimes we bet on people playing. And there's a long wait before your turn lol I hope there's a lot more people playing this game, it's kinda boring playing by yourself, and if there's someone who plays with you, they suck lol. Whenever we go to Dave and Busters, the place is crow-owded We came here and ZIP, it was EMPTY. BANGERANG!!!!! Awesome, Ruchi loved all the ticket games. I live within approximately two minutes away and don't know why I visit so less often. Well, I did earlier this afternoon and I think I might know what the main reason is. It is because of the machines breaking down so easy and often. I too am giving it a few less stars because of the inconsistency in maintenance. A lot of the time, some of the games are broken and there isn't a "sorry, out of service" sign. Such as the case with their Deal or No Deal, which ate three of my tokens. And their maintenance service sucks. Where are the folks? I went to the pizza counter and complained to an employee, who immediately called for someone to go to the machine and fix it. Waited 15 minutes, but still no one came. So, I went again to the pizza counter. The same employee saw me and ask whether anyone had gone to the machine. I said "No." It was good that the employee immediately refunded me three tokens. I will go back, especially since it is only two minutes away. read more

During the weekday, I Took my two kids here, both under age 7. We had a good time. A resonable fee for my 6 year old and free for my 2 year old. There were only 2 other families playing so it was great to take our time or redo the course. Courses were much cleaner than I remember, but prices for the arcade were pretty expensive. We ordered some snacks from the snack bar, the pizza was okay. The TV was set on Disney, so it helped make the time fly while the kids were waiting for the pizza. Overall, not too bad. read more

Kind of a hole-in-the-wall vibe. Frozen pizzas, I would skip. French fries, I don't know what they do to them but they're delicious. Milkshakes (more like blended ice cream) are delicious and can be shared between two people easily. Laser tag, the best workout ever. read more

Whenever my son wants to play miniature golf, we'll come here. The arcade section is really outdated and dirty but we usually skip that part of the facility. When we were here last weekend, this place was jam packed with people who were attending birthday parties. It's like all the games/machines got together and decided to retaliate against Golfland. I agree with Katelyn A- no variety whatsoever on the course. The course is more spacious and open than the other locations but it is BORING, repeating several of the same hole designs. The scenery changes but isn't really integrated into any of the hole designs. No water hazards, 1 closing castle door, a loop, and that's about it. Nothing interesting going on. Only good thing about this place is the arcade, though there are many 2 player games with 1 joystick or games that were out of service. Overall, it's clean and has a good layout. I would come here for the arcade, but not for the course. read more

This used to be my favorite place to go when I was a kid. Birthday parties, weekend day trips, day or night, there never was a time that I didn't want to Golfland. Of course, back in those days, this place had a bigger coin operated arcade(now replaced by a smaller arcade and a laser tag center) and the courses looked a lot cooler. Fast forward to today, some of those icons on the courses are exactly the same...the ravages of decades of wear and tear from the elements are evident. Most of the courses stayed the same with course 1 being the easiest and course 3 being the most difficult. They advise that four people is the biggest group to play together at once but I saw families as big as six or seven playing together..slowing down the pace of the smaller groups behind them. My group was one of them...I literally walked right past them, skipping their hole since we didn't want to wait. I also got freaked out when I saw a huge cockroach in broad daylight crawl through the cracks of the concrete course. I know that we weren't near the food area but it definitely did not help enhance my experience. No matter how old or rundown this place gets, it shall always remind me of great memories as a kid with my parents and grandparents who showed me how to hold a putter and aim properly. Miniature golf may never reach the popularity during its heyday but it can now be enjoyed as an alternative, retro-type activity. read more

I took my 7 year old to Golfland and the card buying machine even though I want to get credits for $10, because I inserted a bill for $20, it added tickets for all $20 dollars. When I complained about it they can neither cancel the transaction or reduce 10$ credits from the card. They said that's how the machines are programmed. This is one of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. And what sort of dumb machines/programs are those that can't cancel a transaction. read more

Growing up, Golfland was the place to be, especially the arcades where many Street Fighter II tournaments occurred. Then you had the miniature golf, where it seems like every course was challenging and properly maintained. Nowadays, Golfland seemed to lose its luster with its mediocre entertainment and service. I decided to golf miniature golfing on my birthday to see how things progressed. The courses are not challenging and seems to feature the same "ant hill." Might I add, that the maintenance is poor as well. There were parts of ripped carpet that can potentially affect your play. It was fun, but having to deal with the ant hill constantly pretty much ruined the challenging experience that I've been accustomed to. The prices are average and you can purchase discounted tickets online. The service is slow and sad, and so are the employees there. Dirty just as I remember it. I like Golfland and the arcade and the minigolf they offer. What I do not like is how dirty the place always is inside and out. Plus it seems quite a bit more dilapidated than I remember from when I was a kid coming to this location. Then again maybe I was just more enamored by the whole thing then. Took the kids for a round of mini golf, got suckered into arcades, and ended up staying for pizza. You'll need to pay for your game of mini golf at the same counter where you order your food, which will be located on the left hand side when you first enter the building. (Thank goodness I paid attention to the chalk board sign!) Make sure you get your balls when you get your putters - otherwise you'll need to walk back to request. Kids under 5 are free with a paid adult game, which is nice if you have little kiddos. Golf-wise, we tried course 3, since it was closest to the entrance. It was a little challenging for my kids... We even lost a ball in the water and so I had to walk all the way back to the front cashier to pick up a new ball. Expect to wait in line to pay, request a new ball, or to even return your putters. While I waited in said lines, my kids were attracted to all the arcades, so we decided to let them play and just order a pizza (since it was getting close to lunch time). They told me they would announce when my order was ready over the PA, but I don't think the announcement is loud enough, particularly if you happen to be in the middle of the arcade, with all the noise. Note to self - stand closer by the counter to hear order called. Although the sign outside boasts "Mini golf, Pizza, Arcade", don't expect great pizza. It's just a convenient meal when you can't seem to tear your arcade playing kids away. Our pizza crust was burnt. Golfland has been around a while and you can tell it's a bit dated by the interior, but I thought the course has been maintained. (I didn't see anything broken.). Besides the often unattended golf courses this is a place for occasional fun. At night this place gets pretty jam-packed with guys hoping to re-create Daigo's comeback and other matches for Street Fighter III: Third Strike and guys trying to become rhythm masters with the various Konami games. In the darker corners of the arcade you can find older games like my favorite four-in-one Neo-Geo games for only one token. Getting here early on Saturdays means you get more bang for your buck. In short there's fun for adults who still enjoy arcades and kids at Golfland. read more

This place is bigger, cleaner and more organized than the one in Santa Clara. It's also not as overly populated at night since the Santa Clara one is like tournament crazy for all the fighting games I guess. The carpeting for mini golf is well kept and I suppose everyone who plays abides by the rules. Aside all the good house keeping some areas of the mini golf part smelled really funky. The sweetie and I played all 3 courses and might I say they are a little more difficult in comparison to Santa Clara. A lot of lopsided hills and not as many swing em hard courses fill this place up. However all the frustrating strokes I took, it was still fun nonetheless. This place also has a bigger dining area, arcade and is better in terms of hosting a birthday also in comparison to the Santa Clara location. During my high school days, this was always my go-to spot when I had a date or wanted to kick it with friends. Mini golf is always a good activity to do with a date; it allows you to get your competitive fix but can also use it to be flirtatious with your date. Nowadays, I don't have as much time to show off my mini golf skills, but have been able to go recently. The course is still pretty much the same, each course has their own degree of difficulty; 1 being the easiest while 3 is the hardest. The "bonus" hole in the end is rigged in my opinion because I swear i made it in once, and nothing happened. But I digress. If you like playing arcade games, come here on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings! For around $6-$8, you get unlimited access on their arcades for several hours. The good thing is that it's easy to get your moneys worth; the bad thing is that the more popular games are always taken. However, there's nothing that a quarter can't fix! read more

Oh wow... I'm trying to remember the last time I stepped foot into a Golfland. Maybe it was when I was still in middle school? Haha. Anyway, my coworkers and I decided to change it up this year and play some mini golf. We chose the Milpitas location because it was bigger and more "scenic" (lol). We went on a Wednesday and it was dead, except for a small group of high school kids that were there. Worked out for us because there was no waiting involved at each putt! Going with a group of friends was so much fun. :) I also think they have a special going on after 5pm for mini golf and arcade, so check that out. I'm never coming here again. I was here back in October, and just forgot to post a review. Went to play mini golf with my husband and little sisters and were immediately disgusted after we started on the first hole. There were ants in almost every hole. EVERY ONE. One was even so covered that my husband didn't even want to get the golf ball out. Disgusting. If it weren't for the arcade, I'd give it just one star. I love this place. I've been going here since I was a kid. I used to come here a lot for the arcades when I was in middle school. I would spend at least $10 to 20 dollars every Saturday. During those young times of mine, double token Saturday still existed. (And it might be continued again with the new manager/management!) I grew older and times changed. They stopped double token Saturdays and had unlimited gaming Thursdays, Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. Which is also cool; unlimited gaming for $10 on Thursday all-day (which I think now is $12), and discounted price for Wednesday and Saturday due to the limited availability time for unlimited gaming. I was only going to MGL for the arcades. Maybe play a game or two during a year but it was all about the arcade. I'm an arcade nut! They have up to date or almost up to date games! The latest or best DDR machines and versions, In the Groove 2, MVC, Initial D, Maximum Tune, Beat Mania, Drum Mania, Guitar Freaks, Para Para and that new game where it's like DDR for your fingers... forgot what it was called... Anyways, great deals on gaming. Unlike Dave and Busters that charge a bunch of credits which is like almost a dollar per game, MGL is very reasonable. Prizes are still cool. They have game tournaments, too, as well as mini golf tournaments. They have special deals on mini golf, too. Check their website often! Food. I never ordered much food from here... I had pizza a couple times throughout the year. One time, it tasted like cardboard though, literally. Another time I had pizza, it was alright; not bad. I usually go to the pizza place around MGL (Pizza Box... but that's for another review). Anyways. I love this place. Very bad experience visiting this place(( The personnel is a team of very rude, not welcoming, and lazy young people. Came there Sunday afternoon 2/3/19 to play laser tag, paid for the game and were waiting 20 min for somebody to let us into the room even though it was empty. When my husband came to the cashier desk to ask an employee, girls after the desk started to argue who's turn to go and let people play. I would be ok more or less with all of that unless something worse happened. Before entering the laser tag room my kids left their jackets and backpacks in the small lobby on the chairs, they were excited and actually had fun playing the game itself, but when we came home, my older daughter find her money from the backpack gone, all that were given by friends and family for her birthday((. Like my SVGL review, this is just a review of the arcade, not their minigolf, which may be possibly lacking, but who knows? I live in San Francisco, and let me just say that their arcade is worth the 50 minute drive. They have WORKING(!) ITG2 (/w r21), PIU, DDR, etc and unlimited games on thursdays for $10. They have a ton of fighting games (mvc2, 3rd strike, cvs etc) and also initial d etc. Since good working ITG machines are becoming fewer and fewer in the bay area, make sure you go here and have some fun before it disappears to =P. read more

It's been awhile since JV had been mini golfing, but JQ comes here a few times a year. It's a great date place to kick it, chill and kill some time. For about $8 for each player, you can play a somewhat challenging 18 hole course. I wish the water was running to make the scenery beautiful! The second half of the arcade was pretty fun, but after 6 PM, you can have unlimited access for $6 per person. Most definitely would come back to improve our mini golf game! read more

I went here with my golf obsessed uncle and my sister. We went in and right away i was like, omg what a nice arcade! Can we play in here? and my sister was like NO WE CAME HERE TO PLAY MINI GOLF NOT PLAY IN THE ARCADE! So I was like fine. -_- Went in, we paid to get our golf equipment. The putter was pretty old but I don't think it really matters since golfland is for fun and not really serious. We chose the the middle course and played. The people infront of us had like 5 little kids so they really did make us and people behind us wait alot. I was good at some holes and pretty bad at others, for example, the volcano looking one with the blue turf. That one took over like 20 tries. O_O Overall it was fun, and it was also my first time playing golf! I wasn't as bad as I thought I would be. It was really hot though, and i got a flat tan :| Now my feet are unevenly tanned. For any mini-golf course, once you've been through all the holes, you've done it all. However, the arcade here is FUN and full of updated games. My friends and I had the $25 dollar combo. The pizza is greasy. When we came on a Tuesday, the ponds were green and almost empty. I bet this place is amazing at night since that's a great time to mini-golf. read more

Come here frequent as a family. Arcade is fun but the mini golfing is our thing. Years back they closed off the 2nd building for laser tag and you checkin at main building. Prices are ok (we don't get food) however usually can find some coupon deals locally around or use family plans. They update the course and keep it maintained. Went strictly for the arcade, and it was worth it. Good token deals, they don't overcharge for games like so many other arcades, and a wide selection. Fighting games hotbed which is why I went, but they have a little bit of everything: pinball, shooters, ddr types, racing, puzzles. It has been a while since I've been mini-golfing, but I came here with a group of friends after dinner at Liou's in the next plaza over. The entire place was decorated for Halloween, which was pretty cool. The only problem was some of the decorations blocked the light from the lamp posts, which made it hard to hit your golf ball when you were playing. We played an 18 hole game, but because were were so slow we only made it to the 17th hole before they started to kick us out because they were closing. It would have been nice if they were open past midnight, then maybe we could have finished our round or done a 36 hole game and seen the rest of the Halloween decorations. read more
