My family goes once a year and has a blast. We will keep going back and I have very few negative things to say. However, I looked for an email address on their website to directly send a suggestion, but didn't see one, so I'll place it here and hope it's seen by management. Yesterday my kids and I waited in line for awhile to ride the Thunderstorm. If you've ever been here you know it's a hike to the top with the massive 4-person tube. My heart broke for a teenage boy in front of us who got all the way to the top, just to be weighed and told he was over the limit. He had to make the sad walk down... shimmying past all of the other kids waiting to ride. I understand this is for safety BUT why not have the weight limits clearly posted at the bottom of the ride? Why not have limits posted (by ride) at the ticket counter with a discreet scale for someone to weigh themselves prior to purchasing their ticket or standing in a long line just to be publicly humiliated? I looked on the website and it's not listed there either. How are families with an obese child supposed to prepare? Please do better and save these kids from that kind of humiliation on a day that's supposed to be exciting and fun. Lastly, when standing in line to get our tickets (about 30 minutes in the AZ heat) I noticed there were actually fans above us but they weren't on. As I looked up, I couldn't believe how nasty they were (see pics). It's likely been years since these were cleaned. It would have been nice to have these blowing down on all the families as we waited (after being cleaned of course)! read more

It's a great place to spend the day, however, the place is very run down. The half the bumper cars do not work, 30 minute wait for laser tag (as they send a bday party in for a triple) and the race track is out of commission. Not worth $75 per day. Zero repeat zero stars for this place. Bought tickets the night before my sons birthday off a banner in front of the home page that announced a discount and hours of operation opening at 11 am. Arrived and while checking in was told the park didn't open until 3pm. As I questioned this, a very rude teenage female employee stated,"Show me where it says that". To my surprise the banner was gone. Normally I would believe that I had made the mistake, however 4 other families were there repotting the same thing. They refunded my money and I wrote 3 x's asking for a callback or email. Never heard from anyone; apparently customer service means nothing to this place, can't wait for another park in the east valley. read more

I do not recommend for kids younger than the age of 12. They have very big water tubes there and you have to carry them a very far distance to even get on the ride. I bought season passes for a family of seven and the I was the only person strong enough to carry the tubes to the top solo. When we purchased these tickets during covid it stated that there would only be a certain amount of people that would be allowed in but it seemed like that wasn't true. Pre-ordered Cabana Express Food is terrible. Do not do this. You have to show up at a certain time, everyone has to be together, and they treat you like you're the one with the problem. And I understand that the customer is not always right. And it should be that because many times the customer is wrong. That is not the case this time. Over $500 was spent on this food order. We were told to be there at 12:30. We were there and only half the orders were done. They lied at first about how many orders were prepared. It took almost an hour to gwt all our food. Now, in fairness, one the manager got involved, he took full responsibility, apologized, and devoted his full attention to resolving the issue. read more

This place was overly crowded but it is a water park and people want to go when it's over 100°. The price of the tickets are high but in the decent price range. The workers were horrible. They looked like they didn't want to be there. My dad order 3 drinks and it took 30 minutes. We also spent $100 on an arcade card. The prizes were ok but not ok. I tried to get my stuff but 4 workers ignored me and started talking for 5 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this place for the dry side of the park but the water park I would recommend. read more

I just wanted a refund for go karts because they might have been the slowest workers on the track it was pathetic. as someone who comes from a small town that has absolutely nothing in a 50 mile radius, this is great. my first time doing this. it was pretty fun. just be careful with your power haha. the course was beautiful on a sunny day, and the arcade was cool. not the best, but it was fun. the cost of the arcade games were a bit high if you ask me. time flies too! I will never have a birthday party here again!!! I had an ultimate golfland party package for my younger son that was a horrible experience. The staff is rude and very disorganized!!! The pizza is not even cooked and is sooo doughy. I was told by the manager when you have attractions for birthday parties your group is supposed to be in front of the line. Thats not true at all!!!! Went yesterday with my 2 older kids and bought the unlimited 3hr wristbands. We had a great time but could definitely tell the employees were miserable, even my kids could tell they needed a morale boost. My younger and I ended up with horrible headaches after the go carts and had to leave, the fumes were terrible and the area is far too enclosed for all those carts read more

I purchased three tickets at the end of 2019 on a special. They were to be used for the 2020 season. Unfortunately Sunsplash was not open for the 2020 season. So I asked if I could use these tickets now for the 2021 season. I was told by a young lady no you cannot use them. She asked if I wanted my money back I said no I just want three tickets for admission. She said no. I asked to speak to a manager she would not let me. Very unfair. read more

Didn't get to take pictures but this place is over priced for what they offer. The floor in the kids area has missing spots. The slides were black and there was mold growing in the corners... for the kids area! It smelled very bad. I would not recommend and if you go wear sandals or water shoes! read more

Recently visited and it was a great experience. It wasn't too busy and the staff was very helpful. I was worried a lot of the slides weren't open but they all ended up being open with not much of a wait. Be prepared to have a little workout while there lol all the stairs and having to carry some of the bigger tubes up were kinda tough but overall it was a great day. read more

Don't spend your money in the Goland Arcade..... they don't maintain their machines we took our son to Golfland for his 7th Birthday we went to play some game that dispense tickets to redeem for prizes long story short the first 5 machines we played all had issues either the machines would malfunction & shut down or they would not dispense tickets I spent more time in line waiting to talk to a manager each time to wait for corrections The manager only refund the credits. They don't correct the tickets that you should receive. This has happened a few times this season I reached out to their CEO through his email address scarlston@golfland.com he never responded he had Mark the castle manager call me about a week and a half later I returned Mark's call on 2 docent occasions and left voice mails he never called me back. I emailed the CEO again another week went by with no response so I emailed again a couple weeks later no response I even went multiple times in person to Golfland to try to talk to Mark every time the employees said he wasn't there they took my information and said he would call me Don't spend your money at Golfland they don't care about their customers read more

Golfland is the perfect place for a hot summer day/night in Phoenix! I'd driven past it multiple times in my few years of living out here but never actually stepped foot at the place. One of my guy friends organized a group outing for Night Splash recently- but no group pricing for Night Splash. Totally understandable since it's only $20 for 4 hours of wet entertainment! The old waterpark-only entrance is not used except as an exit. So we found out upon parking next to it.... gotta go thru the arcade maze. I definitely suggest getting one of the PIN# lockers instead of the key lockers, that way if you're with a group you're not having to share a key. It's quite easy to get separated from people with a group since the place is large and full of winding walkways. I recommend doing all the slides, even if heights and/or water rides aren't your thing. The best one is probably the half-pipe slide in the back because it's an almost literal 90-degree drop into the half-pipe. Even though most of the staff looked to be half my age, they were all friendly and confident in their work knowledge. Every staff member we spoke with loved the idea of an adults-only Night Splash- totally would pay a little more premium if this could happen. read more

We prepurchased our tickets and drove an hour to spend the afternoon here, only to find the park closed. Apparently they are only open two days a week but advertise otherwise online, and will still sell tickets for days closed. We spoke to management, who offered us the use of bumper cars and mini golf. I went here with my son recently and half of the slides were closed. It wasn't very busy because it was a weekday. We still had a fun time but I won't be going back because it's just not worth it. If they are going to close half of the slides down then should give customers a discount on their tickets. read more

Despite advertising on the website that attendance would be limited during Covid it was extremely crowded impossible to maintain social distancing. In addition there were many people not following the mask mandate and no staff were enforcing it either. Many people were very close together indoors not wearing masks. I have been here a couple of times, but I particularly loved the New Years celebration going into 2019! I don't drink, so I wanted to celebrate the new year somewhere that didn't involve a bar-scene. I searched online and found that Golfland was hosting a NYE celebration that included unlimited mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games (no tickets) as well as a countdown and DJ. I convinced my brother and my boyfriend (all of us are in our 20's) to buy tickets as well and we had a fantastic time! Not many people were playing mini golf due to it being pretty cold outside, so we had free reign to play around the courses as fast or slow as we felt like. I also loved their landscaping/roses.. hence the picture! I was in awe of how beautiful the roses looked in the late night dew! I highly suggest attending their event if you're in need of some NYE plans! As far as I remember, the price was pretty fair as well! read more

They should try and open the mini-golf course at 9am in the summer due to the intense heat. It doesn't open until 11AM and by that time the heat and sweat was really boiling over. Only one course was open, but luckily it was the pride and joy princess course. I believe they fixed the Volcano as well as it was roaring with fire at one point during our round. The prices have also increased and it's now cheaper to see a movie than play a round of golf. It is 10 bucks to play, but you get a buck off if your a senior or with a senior. If anybody cares, I did defeat dad on our annual visit, but this time it was by 15 strokes and that included four holes in one for yours truly. read more

Avoid going to Nightsplash on Saturdays. It took over 10 minutes for me to find a parking spot. I ended up parking on a side street away from the park. The walk took a good 5 mins to get there. My friends and I proceeded to wait another 10ish minutes in line to redeem our online tickets and receive our wristbands. We get to security and the wait isn't too long. We finally get inside to put our stuff in lockers and they are ALL FULL. With the amount of people they see at these parks, there should be hundreds of lockers. There are literally only like 50 lockers for the entire park. After trying to get a locker for 20 minutes, we decide to just hope for the best and put our stuff back in our cars and go in empty handed. To put this all into perspective, we met up at 5:30pm but did not get into the water until 6:30pm with the amount of traffic, people, and time spent waiting. We only got to experience the lazy river, the wave pool, double dare, and thunderfalls in just a couple hours. The price does not match the amount of time you have to wait in lines and all the old rickety rides that have been there since the 80s with no upgrades. They keep raising prices but nothing has changed. Not worth going again in my opinion unless it's on a weeknight when people have to work the next morning. I wish the tickets were still $20 for Nightsplash. It's not worth $40(online price). It's even more when you purchase at the door. read more

Kiana was wonderful and I'm so thankful we had her as the hostess for my son's birthday party! She had been in charge of my best friend's son's party last month. She is very attentive and really keeps on top of things such as refills, dishing out pizza, keeping track of time, and suggesting the next activity to keep things moving along. I love this place- and I'll tell you why. It's been around forever- and still has that special something. Honestly these scores don't reflect the awesomeness of Sunsplash. I've gone there since I was a kid, I learned how to be a bank robber getaway driver with the go-carts, and I've played goofy golf like a boss. The waterpark attractions are fun- they added that cool toilet flushing ride- which is a blast. I've also attended a few kids birthday parties- and everyone had a great time, even though I didn't get candy from the piñata- first world problems. Reading some of the other reviews doesn't give me much hope for humanity or our future. Kind of reminds me of the movie Idiocracy. For those of you new to AZ, during late summer- there are monsoons. For some reason God refuses to notify the waterpark when these storms will hit - so on occasion they have to clear the water so that guests don't die due to lightning. I know I live on the edge- but death by lightning is not my thing- so good lookin out Sunsplash. If for some reason they need to close for safety- they happily provide a rain check that's good for the rest of the season, which I think is rad. So, to recap- this place is legit- fun, and a great time to kill a day. Sunsplash was good enough to film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure- and it will be good enough for your excellent adventure.
