Pretty clean and sleek shop. You order from the kiosks with one person working in the back. Very efficient. There were some online orders that kept printing, so our order took a while while people came in picked up and went. Got my usual boba milk tea. Tasted delicious and very similar to the many other similar shops and those in China and Taiwan. They added a lot of boba (pearls/tapioca balls). Depending on if you like those, you might ask for less. read more

Cute boba shop in the middle of Eden Center -- perfect sweet treat after some good Vietnamese food or grocery run. Love the mochi donuts and wide spread of drinks, especially their fruity options, and the very cute decor! The staff is super friendly and efficient, and the vibes are quite cozy (especially for a boba shop). It's a small space but I enjoy hanging out at the window counter and people watching, and if it's warm enough, it's fun to walk around the Center / pop into bakeries with my boba as well. read more

It is always fun to wander around Edens in search of new places to try. This day, after lunch, we went in search of dessert and found a great selection of mochi donuts and cold drinks at Gong Cha. Some of the ones we tried included the black sesame, mango, coffee, matcha, Oreo and chocolate - not all at once For drinks we chose the passion fruit smoothie which had a lot of flavor once it melted a bit and the danger of mega brain freeze had passed and the milk foam Vietnamese iced coffee. I would have liked a little stronger of a coffee taste but it was still good. The staff was very patient as we gazed at the posters depicting their most popular offerings and tried to choose. Consistent service and quality compared to other Gong Cha locations. Great variety of drinks, and in a great location amongst other boba shops--just difficult to compete with the sheer amount of boba in Eden Center, but the name recognition and loyalty program makes them strong. The interior decor is cute! Also, kudos to the social media team--I always see videos of this place on my TikTok FYP, haha. Would be nice if they had more interior seating options instead of the window bar. read more

It was definitely an interesting place, and it was very nicely decorated and very clean. The donuts were interesting. I didn't really like them, but that's because of my taste buds. They were well cooked and they were fresh and they were warm and they were really nice. I just didn't like the way they taste. The service was good. Nice bubble tea chain establishment with a selection of bubble teas, milk tea, smoothies, a few coffees, and more. I had a regular hot coffee with creme brulee foam as a topping, as well as a matcha donut to complement my drink. Both the coffee and tea met my expectations! Would you believe that the first location I ever went to was in the Northbridge neighborhood of Perth on a trip to Australia in 2017? I won't return. Well this is a very interesting concept. The donut things were good they were soft but not warm. The products are pretty pricey for what they are so the concept of value is kinda lost. (6 donuts $25) The service was mediocre as the servers who had no one in the shop made it feel like we imposing on them. I would describe the shop as bit of a dive. Make the donuts hot and fresh. Keep the good flavors. Better service would be key. read more

I absolutely love this bubble tea shop! The drinks here are always fresh and delicious, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I came here after dining in a nearby restaurant at Eden. They are famous for their bubble tea but I came here for the egg waffle. They have two self service kiosks for customers to order. It took 10-15 mins for the waffle to be made, it was fresh and delicious! I like the plain flavor without much add on though I added a little powdered sugar with the order. Highly recommend the egg waffle for dessert after lunch or dinner! read more

The sweet potato smoothie tasted really bad, I'm not going to lie. I feel like Gong Cha does really well with the basic drinks but anything more complicated, and it tastes like straight sugar. I usually go with the wintermelon, but I have tried other creations from other locations. Ultimately, I would just go with the basic drinks because they do the basics really well. read more

There are so many bubble tea options in Eden center but Gong cha has some unique offerings. They are higher priced than fellow options such as TeaDM but I do like some of their flavors better, especially for milk teas. Plus the first time you order from the app, it's 50% off so that's a good deal. My favorite teas are the Strawberry Taro, strawberry matcha latte, and dirty brown sugar tea with pearl. The strawberry matcha latte has strawberry pearls inside already but I usually add in boba or more jelly. Their fruit teas are decent too but I prefer Mr Wish for fruit teas since they use fresh fruit. If you are in the mood for a milk tea, Gong cha has some great options, just be prepared to pay a slight premium price-wise. read more

9/2/23 Today is Eden Garden Celebration. Today we see this store for the first time. Today my wife is trying a Honeydew Smoothie. Today I would have tried a Oreo Mochi. Donut, but they were $4.00 each. Today, I was let down gently...water under the bridge. The kiosk machines have really taken off at a number of businesses. The order machine takes away the ability to have a face to face experience with a human being. The staff doesn't look happy. The staff does seem to be in a good. This gives the staff more time to apparently make more drink, food or both. The drink my wife aquired had her talking about the place for a while. I am sure she will be back for another drink very soon. I might try this place out the next time we or I am here. I might try something good here. However, my friend's order had a longer wait time despite being the same drink with only the milk substituted. We eventually asked the staff if the order was still coming through--they were very sweet, apologized for the wait, and quickly prepared the order. Unsure if maybe the order got lost in the shuffle, or perhaps someone else accidentally grabbed it, but it was nice that they quickly resolved the issue once it became known to them. The drink was okay, which I was fine with because the main appeal was supposed to be the Halloween-themed design. I realized too late that my drink didn't come with the chocolate syrup drizzled on top that others' did, which was unfortunate. The cafe was beautifully decorated, and it's clear that there was a lot of thought and heart put into the design. The shop was also nice to check out, with a great collection of items with a nice mission and message behind each product. However, it is a bit tight to go through the aisles when it is busy. I hope to visit again during a less crowded time to check out other seasonal treats they may have in the future!
