Genuinely OBSESSED with this lovely juice shop! I had never had sugar cane juice before, but when I walked by this cute little shop and their lovely cart outside displaying every type of fruit imaginable, I knew I had to give it a try. They have a huge selection of drinks, all based on their freshly made sugarcane juice. I just got the classic juice since it was my first time trying sugarcane, but I'll definitely be back to sample some of the other fruity combos. It was delightful -- not too sweet, with notes of honey and an almost floral-like flavor. At $7 a cup, it was definitely pricey, but pretty reasonable for the area as I've also seen plenty of cafes and boba shops charge similar prices for lower quality drinks. The staff was super friendly, and I love that they had one of their juicing machines right next to the register. It was really fun to watch them work, and the machine spit out all the extra sugar cane skins / peelings into a giant wooden bucket that you could take from. You can mix the fresh cane juice with a variety of fruits like kumquat, coconut, mango, or strawberry for a custom, refreshing drink. I originally stopped by just for the juice, but I noticed they also offer Vietnamese specialty entrées, which looked delicious. Great sugarcane juice! The location is pretty prominent and easy to spot in the middle of the shopping strip and the staff inside were friendly enough. Sugarcane juice isnt easy to come by where i live, so i always seize the chance to get some when i can. What i liked about this place that the juice came in different flavors. I enjoy this Vietnamese drinkery. I love drinking sugar cane juice, something I've enjoyed in my childhood in Latin America. Once you learn the Vietnamese name for sugar cane juice is nuoc mia, then the name of this place makes sense. And this place takes it to another level - offering a variety of combination you can have with your sugar cane juice - something I haven't quite seen elsewhere. Very smart - and it's nice to see this small national chain branch out to Falls Church's Eden Center for their first Northeast expansion, which makes sense as the largest Vietnamese community east of the Mississippi is here in the DC area. Service was quick, and they were able to identify what I wanted easily. Choosing is not that easy though with the plethora of options (which I'm happy about), including Vietnamese coffee and some Vietnamese-style boba smoothie (avocado anyone?). It just means I have to come back more often to sample the plethora of options here. The interior is that of a nice cafe, almost made for Instagram. The box where sugar cane remains go into is interesting to see too. Prices are a bit higher than what I am accustomed to though especially for the no ice option that gets an upcharge- but I would still return for refreshing drinks here. I tried nuoc mia (sugar cane juice) at other shops in Eden center but this one is definitely the closest to the real thing. I had mine with the rau muong (pennywort) and I really liked the refreshing taste. Wasn't too sugary and tasted great! Reminded me a lot of the fresh sugar cane juice that I would try on the side of the road in Vietnam! We also had the snails too. They were simmered in a creamy sauce and actually tasted good. The sauce was well balanced and not too overpowering. The snails were not slimy at all and tasted great with the thick creamy sauce. Love, love this place! We've come here twice now. We always get the traditional sugar cane but my husband likes to get the ones with other fruit flavors like the dragonfruit. My son's favorite are the ice candies and they come in strawberry and mango flavors with Greek yogurt. These ice candies are a nostalgia for me growing up. My son also enjoyed the quail. It's a good thing you can order from the electronic monitors they installed by the wall and just wait for your number to be called. We haven't tried the snacks they have on the shelves and the other snacks they have on the menu. Typically I get the regular sugarcane from vietnamese restaurants so I was surprised that flavors could be added to it! Definitely a must-try in this area!! The sugar cane drinks are well-worth the cost for a sweet and refreshing drink, especially in the summer. The dragonfruit drink is one of my favorites as it is so refreshing and tastes SOO fresh like if the fruit was directly cut into the drink (which I am actually unsure if it is but it tastes like it!). The kumquat drink is very popular and has a bit of a tart taste to it, which is unique from your typical drinks. The traditional sugar cane drink tasted like young coconut juice for some reason, which I was surprised about but was still delicious nonetheless. TRY THE TOFU The service was fast and it was fascinating to see the sugarcane being juiced right at the front of the counter. Sundays get very busy as you can tell from the picture -- when I walked in, the box was full of juiced sugarcane but when I walked out, they had made 2 trashcans full of the bagasse (the dry pulpy fibrous material that remains after crushing sugarcane). I grew up snacking on sugarcane, and unfortunately, I haven't had it for awhile. So when I heard there was a new sugarcane juice shop at Eden Center, I immediately went to go check it out. I love that there is a variety of sugarcane juices (traditional nuoc mia option and other sugarcane x fruit combos), coconut juices, and smoothies. There's also a few street food eats! M2 TRADITIONAL CANE/NUOC MIA - 7.25 + regular ice +1 for real coconut pulp Wow, the sugarcane juice was so good and just like how I remembered sugarcane to taste like. I thought it was a bit too sweet, but I was too eager to enjoy it, so I slurped the whole thing anyway. Each drink comes with a lot of ice, so the coconut pulp was basically impossible to get to since it was sitting below all the little ice cubes. Overall, this was an enjoyable drink, but it was majority ice. Sugarcane is expensive, so I'd recommend doing the half ice or no ice option if you want to get a whole cup of sugarcane juice. Personally, if I want toppings, I'd do +2 for no ice so I can actually enjoy the toppings without the ice getting in the way. Since the drink is so big, it might be optimal to do the no ice option and enjoy the drink for the next day if you have a limited sweet tooth like me. read more

The iced viet coffee was strong, balanced and hit the spot perfectly. We've tried a number of viet coffees and after we finished it, we were already craving a second one. We tried the pennywort sugarcane juice and it was very refreshing and not overly sweet (ultimate compliment from an asian). The sugarcane can be seen freshly pressed at the front. Along with the various drinks offered, they also offer desserts and packaged bottles of juice in a side fridge. I will definitely be returning to get another coffee and trying out the other drinks. New place in Eden Center in Falls Church, VA. They took over the spot that used to be Pho VA. This place is amazing and I love sugarcane drinks. Their smoothies are SO good, too. I got the "Smashed Durian/Avocado Smoothie". It was so delicious. The only thing is that there were still little chunks of ice in the drink. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be for the "Smashed" version but I wish they could've blended it a little more. A different concept amongst other stores that are similar - it costs extra to get less ice. It makes sense in a way because they would need to add more sugarcane. So understandable. My friend got the Durian sugarcane drink and barely tasted the durian - there was not enough of the durian, which was quite disappointing. Also, I guess because it's not in-season but they didn't have any pennywort. Very sad because I love pennywort. Guess I'll have to wait until summer.
