Goldie wanted to get some writing done and we both wanted to try out a new coffee spot. As always, I headed to Yelp to get some recommendations and decided to give Gong Cha a try. It's a really cute location. It sits in the strip next to Wendys and has easy access on and off the main road. The establishment is super spacious and very clean. The environment is very neutral and provides for a great multi-optional coffee and date/work/catch up with friends kind of vibe. The menu has soooooooooo many things to choose from. It's hard to even figure out what flavor profile to try. As this was my first time I cheated and listened to what the lady I. Front of me ordered. LoL! Based on her order I asked her for a recommendation and she told me her fave and her daughters fave. I decided to give the daughters fave a try. Before I tell you about the taste, let me just say, the visual appeal is AhhhhhMazing! Brown Sugar Coffee Milk Tea Cold Large Reg Ice Half Brown Sugar (50%) No Topping I'll be honest! I have no idea what I ordered but I am glad I ordered it. It puts you in the mindset of Chocolate Milk married to Coffee with a Brown Sugar almost Caramel-ish flavor additive. It was truly a good drink. It wasn't too simple or too complex. The flavor blends matched well and nothing overpowered anything. There are a few more options on the menu that I have to try. I will certainly be back!

TL;DR If you want an authentic Bobba tea south of Atlanta, this is one of the few options you have. Interior - Plenty of seating. The place is actually a combination of Kremo Ice Cream and Gong Cha. The owner probably tried to capture two trendy snacks. There are two checkout/order lines. However, the same group of employees works on both sides. You can see them jumping from one side to another to help out during busy times. Most of the time, there is not much of a wait. Most of the times that I have stopped by, there have never been more than 1/2 parties ahead of me. I stopped by on Halloween, and the place was packed with people. I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes. Drinks - I have been trying their Brown Sugar Series. Strongly recommend the Oolong tea and adding boba to it. Make sure you shake it well before drinking. The boba on the bottom can be very sweet. I asked for 30 percent sugar and made the mistake of not shaking my drink. You know the ending... Service - Not the best service. I always feel rushed when I tried to look at the menu or while ordering. Overall, if you are craving boba tea, and you are on the Southside, go for it. Otherwise, wait it out.

Cute lil boba tea spot. They had a lot of options to choose from from both drinks and toppings. There is both Gong Cha the Hubble tea and Kremo a rolled ice cream company in the same space. They share the work space and employees manage both stations. It was clean and plenty of seating. The prices we're affordable and it's a great option for the family. It wasn't busy at all when we went, but I'm sure things pick up during the warmer months. I'll definitely be back again with my son to try out some of the other drink options.

The service was great the staff helped me pick it a tasty drink. It was a tea with fruit and those jelly ball things. Although the drink was tasty it wasn't for me. I enjoyed my time sitting and conversing with my friend. They have so much space for you to sit and dine out use the Wi-Fi.

I had called ahead for pickup, because Gong Cha can be busy sometimes between making drinks and rolled ice cream for the Kremo side. I made the call 30 minutes before arriving, hoping the order will be ready by the time I arrived. When I walked up to the counter, they had not made it yet. Luckily there were a handful of customers in the store, so they were able to make it relatively quickly. If you call ahead, do not expect your order to be ready right away. The drinks were delicious. I haven't had a problem with flavor from this Gong Cha. They can be slow at times, especially when an order is placed for rolled ice cream. There are a few parking spots in front and much more in back. If you park in the back, they have closed off the back entrance, so you will need to walk back to the front to enter.

Not friendly nor are they socially aware. If you like being treated like a number you'll enjoy their service.

Finally, the bubble tea spot this area has been waiting for has arrived. Gong Cha has many locations North of this area, getting there always has to do deal with some traffic. I was surprised to hear when they announced that a location would opening up, I'm so glad it's open for business. Like many of its other locations, Gong Cha always has a nice aesthic feel to its interior. From the lighting to the furniture, everything feels welcoming and inviting. Bubble tea paired up with Kremo rolled ice cream is a great way to escape the summer heat. Oolong milk tea is a standard recommendation I make to most people who haven't had a chance to try bubble tea before, but the menu is pretty extensive in its selections. Slushes are a good choice, and don't forget to add some toppings as well. Parking in the rear helps with the limited availability of spaces in the front. It'll be on the right side of the building. Now I won't have to make as many trips up North when I need a good bubble tea drink. Thanks for bringing Gong Cha to this area!

So you no me I will try anything. Drove by her twice decided to stop. First no one acknowledged me and when he finally did I ordered. The guy making the ice cream started playing with his hair to put it under his hat. I asked him to change his gloves and he did. The other lady played with her hair and put it in a ponytail no gloves and fixes peoples drinks did not wash her hands

I ordered the milk tea with black tea and tapioca and my friend ordered the same with an addition of lychee boba in her's. The drink was definitely just right; I got regular sugar and it was not too sweet which I like. The interior is super cute but of course no indoor seating. The staff was friendly and they got our drinks out quickly.

New place with nice decoration. Their milk foam green is good with less 70% sugar. I give them 5 stars for motivation.

Had the grapefruit tea, it wasn't bad, except they added sugar when I told them not to. Boba is too mushy for me, but overcooked.

We've been going to this location Store #23316 in Morrow for several years due its close proximity…read more Initially we thought we had the wrong address because it is connected to a gas station and convenience store. We only visited this Cold Stone Creamery location, which was not only close but had always provided a great experience along with good customer services to get our favorite ice dessert, but lately things have drastically changed at this location. Within the past few years we've noticed a shift in everything from the energy of the store to the customer service. First, we started to notice the sewage or dirty mop type smell which is definitely a turnoff but we wanted to patronize the establishment anyway yet made a note of this matter to see if this would be a normal occurrence or a one off. Next we noticed the uneasiness of the employee but didn't understand until the franchisee employer came into view, stood next to the employee and began to hover over the employee as they made our treat. On another occasion this same employer instead of hovering stood behind the employee and watched them and continued to correct the employee. This type of action made us uneasy as we watched the employer interact with the employee and we made a note of this. Another time we were greeted by the employee and not the employer, the same lady. After several attempts to patronize this place the smell got better and the employees were able to operate freely without the employer hovering over them. On different occasions we noticed that this location would be closed frequently, we assumed that it was due to their inability to keep employees. After a while, we stopped patronizing this place and went to the Conyers location instead. Today, we were in the area and decided to go visit the Morrow location again and what we experienced was once again very unsettling. As we were trying to pay for our dessert, a line began to form because the franchisee employer was online remotely doing something pertaining to the employees payroll which impacted the cash register. This disruption caused us to have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. The employee continued to service other customers, of which 10 more minutes had passed, and had to call the employer to let them know that they were unable to cash out the customers because of this online remote disruption. Finally after a total of 20-30 minutes we were able to pay for our dessert. But while waiting we found out some other unsettling things about this employer 1) during our wait they were changing employers hours despite having worked additional hours than noted on the screen 2) employees were not paid OT worked and 3) tips given by customers add to our credit cards are not fully passed on to them. I've been noticing a precedent on tipping where employees are not FULLY getting their tips when working for various companies from UBER and fast food to restaurants, this practice is happening everywhere frequently. We will no longer be going back to this establishment. We have had enough of poor services. This is why cash is king. Please give those that you tip CASH.

Pulling up to this location, I was enlightened by the fact that it's connected to the gas station. This is the first I have ever seen structured like this. However, though it's connected to the gas station, it still has the cozy feel and awesome smells of the stand alone locations. Walking in, the space has the traditional tan and maroons. The space is small yet they have made great use of it. The staff was very inviting as they welcomed us in. It was his first time at Cold Stone so I had the pleasure of introducing him to the flow of how to order and the abundance of flavor options. He decided on the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor crafted by Cold Stone in a Waffle Bowl where I chose a Sweet Cream base with Oreos. After placing our order, we headed down the line to watch it be made before paying and departing. The process flow is set up with efficiency as well as the 3 staff setup is spot on for the traffic. There are not any seats so be prepared to eat your ice cream on the go. We got in the car and went to town. lol. The ice cream was rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. The fixings were blended in perfectly as well and everything had its moment to shine. I'm talking about a well crafted soul cooling, sweet tooth pleasing moment of reset, release, and renewal. If you are in the area and need a fix, get you some Cold Stoneeeeeeeeee.

I found Lupita's about three years ago, and it has quickly become our favorite ice cream place…read more There is literally something for everyone here. Regardless of whether you have adventurous eaters in your family or traditional eaters, everyone will find something that they love. I had a friend in town who wanted to meet up with us, so of course I suggested Lupita's. We went in with three small children one teenager and two adults. The smallest of the crew all got one scoop of ice cream and the teenager got a fruit cup (which is topped with chamoy, lime and tajin). The adults had a milkshake and a fruit pop. The fruit pops are made in house from fresh fruit. Everyone enjoyed their treat. Inside Lupitas are three small tables that each have two stools. Most people come in in order to go. This day, however, we decided to dine in to catch up with our friend. It's a small space, but comfortable. One of the cool things about Lupitas is that they have Mexican snacks and candies for sale. Before leaving, I decided to try a Nugs candy bar. From the rapper, I assumed that it was similar to a Snickers bar. I didn't eat it until a couple of days later, but the taste is very different from Snickers. I think it may be because Snickers has milk chocolate in this may have more dark chocolate involved, plus I do not believe the Nugs has nougat. I still prefer a Snickers, but that's probably because my pallet is trained that way. Long story short: Lupita's is a 10 out of 10 experience. I fully recommend it.
