Very spacious inside with some seating on the edges, staff definitely like working with each other as they were engaged in conversation while making the orders. We ordered on the tap screen where the menu is easier to read. Modern clean look inside, clean bathroom, no music, no fans or a/c. We ordered a strawberry green tea with pearls and star jelly, and a passion fruit green tea with pearls (both too sweet at 100%, try 50 % next time). The fruit tea is what is sweet as the boba is satisfyingly chewy but has no sweetness and subtle flavor. (I've gone to places where it's the opposite.) Overall, a decent cup of boba tea.

Automated kiosk for ordering takes a little getting used to. They have a rewards program which is worth joining for free drinks. I like to try different things and always recommend checking out the seasonal menu. You can tailor the amount of ice and sugar and put any number of add-ins into your drink (for a charge).

Gong Cha is known and popular across the world and to see it here in WeHa, I was thrilled...I had to have it!! If it's good for an Emperor... it's good enough for me! Tea of the finest quality they say... sourced from Taiwan, fresh tea is brewed through out the day, pearls are made fresh too. The most popular flavors seems to be the "Brown Sugar Pearl Oreo Milk Foam Oolong Milk Tea"..phew!! try saying that in one breath.... I had the classic Taro tea with boba, if you are having Taro for the first time it might be a bit of getting used to.. I always have the feeling of I hate it but I want more of it ...which is absurd!! My kid prefers the fruity teas with jellies.. both were really good in my opinion. Tip: always ... always get the large.... They have parking on site (which is a big deal in WeHa).. I love that there are so many options for bubble tea here nowadays... will be back here for sure!!

Great spot for bubble tea in West Hartford! Free parking available right in front of the store! There is space inside to hangout with friends, study, or get some work done! They have many different drink options! The staff was friendly and provided great service! I ordered the cool mint milk tea! It tasted like milk tea with a slight mint flavor. I ordered less ice but the drink barely came with any. This didn't affect the taste much but some ice would have been nice. My sister and brother got the peach slush with star jelly and they both enjoyed it! Overall, would recommend checking this place out!

I'm not the biggest fan of Gong Cha's teas, but I HAD to go when I saw their gingerbread man cups all over social media. Definitely worth it. The cup was adorable and I was actually very pleasantly surprised by the taste of the gingerbread milk tea. You can't adjust the sweetness of this drink, and the sweetness was tolerable. The flavor was also very on point and tasted just like gingerbread. The drink itself was SO creamy, though, because of the milk foam. I would get this flavor again.

This place is modern an spacious. There is plenty of place to sit and work. Peach milk tea with coconut jelly, which was a summer special was my favorite. Coconut jelly compliments peach milk very well. Creme brulee strawberry latte was an excellent drink as well.

This is a nice bubble tea spot although I got it to go. I got this peach flavored frozen drink. It was refreshing for a summer day but a little too sweet. It was big so I drank it through the day. They forgot to add the pearls in my drink so she had to open it back up and add it, it was after I snapped this photo. The pearls cost additional. Overall it's pricey, too sweet. I'm not a huge fan. But I really love the bubble tea keychain!

West Hartford has quite a few places that make bubble tea, recently another one has opened. Gong Cha is on Farmington Avenue, a little separate from all the excitement of the area. Inside is spacious, with an area for sitting. On the menu there are several options of bubble tea, milk tea or fruit tea. Then you can choose the type of pearls you like. I decided on the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea. As I went to place my order, I was asked a variety of questions to customize my drink. Like, how much ice would I like, I said light on the ice. She also asked how sweet I'd like it to be on a scale 30 to 70, I said 30. I figured with a name like brown sugar, it has to be sweet already. I have to say I was not expecting to be impressed by my bubble tea, but it was really delicious. I love how they have the sweet scale, to customize the sweetness level to your liking. This was creamy, a bit sweet like caramel, and with a nice amount of chewy tapioca. I got it in medium and it was $8.00. It is a bit costly for a medium, hence my four star rating. This location also has a few parking spots right at the front.

Space is always clean, service always friendly. Love that they have both hot and cold drinks. Perfect for hot summer days and cold winters. Best part is free parking! The lot can get full and it's a wonky intersection.

I gave this place a few tries and have left a bit disappointed. I like a nice balance between tea and boba but found over half my drink to be just boba. Prices are also pretty steep considering the other bubble tea places nearby. You can easily spend almost $9-10 for just one drink.

Decided to come and give this place a try. What I like the most is that they have a parking lot that you can park into without having to pay for parking in west Hartford. When you walk in it has a comfy feel to the place. It's even big of an area that you can sit and drink some boba tea. Their menu is kind of big with so many different ways to make your boba to your liking. They have hot, cold and even slushies. I stuck to the normal boba which is my go to. Taro boba tea. You this place you can add pudding and other stuff. I very much recommend this place to those looking to have a taste of boba tea

Oh Gong cha, I've been waiting for you!! Do you know how happy I am that my favorite bubble tea spot is FINALLY within 10 minutes of my home?! Not only is the quality amazing, but the customer service is too! I've had VERY positive encounters everytime I've visited with special shoutout to the lovely person who always takes my order, Liv who gives great recommendations, and the sweet person who makes my creme brulee strawberry latte perfect EVERY TIME. I highly recommend the oolong milk tea with pudding and of course my favorite, the creme brulee strawberry latte! My partner and I love our boba run and he tends to go for the coffee or taro milk tea! I am so happy about this location! I am VERY pleased by the quality, how clean it is, and the amazing people who work here. Super excited to return back already!

Stopped in Gong Cha for a tea. This was my first time visiting this bubble tea shop. They offer an assortment of fresh brewed teas that can be blended with an assortment of fruit juices. To elevate your tea you can choose from a variety of toppings like milk foam, oreo crumbs, and basil seeds. They also have an extensive list of add-ins like pearls, jellies, and puddings. You can create your own tea or choose one from their popular combination menu. I ordered a Strawberry Green Tea with light ice and no sugar. It was yummy. The staff was super nice, friendly, and offered recommendations. While chatting with the employees I learned that the owner of this Gong Cha also owns Black Bamboo which I have never been to, but will be checking out. The shop has ample seating for you and friends to enjoy your tea. They have their own private parking lot.

Got the pink lady with whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and salted caramel. Delicious. Service was good. The air freshener is so strong that I'm legitimately concerned for the health and wellbeing of the employee. Also, I legit had to shower when I got home from being in the shop less than 5 min, because I could taste the air freshener in the back of my throat even after getting home, and it was so bad it was even giving my wife a headache from across the room. Later I licked some melted ice cream off the outer edge of the cup, and the air freshener scent that I inadvertently licked up was stronger than the ice cream taste. Please, please, please get rid of that air freshener. I would not be surprised if it's scaring away other customers. Still pricey but at least it was good. My fiancé ramen came out shortly after and we weren't too impressed. The beef broth was a muted color which looked more like miso. He said the noodles were sticky and pretty soft. I waited about 15 minutes until my chicken katsu came out (we were the only ones in there so it wasn't busy) and it looked promising... Good crunch but seems like chicken thighs were used as there was a good amount of fat in it. It quickly became kinda inedible because of how much sauce was covering the whole dish.
