Lukewarm and burnt fries, the lobster roll was overcooked. It was a bad meal and disappointing after high expectations

I asked for a surprise item and he made me their Jerk Chicken. It was super tender and so delicious! I had it with their rice and peas with Mac and cheese. We were told that Saturdays are their least busy days and glad I was able to come by and support on a slow day! There are two square tables nearby that could seat up to 8 each and kind of like a treehouse with a nice cozy bookshelf. Jerry was so nice to let us have a sample of their hibiscus tea. It's very rich and has a little bit of a kick thanks to the ginger. Yum!! It's absolutely refreshing and time well spent! There are a few parking spaces across for ease of access. They are also available for online ordering through Grubhub, Ubereats and Postmates. They are also on Seamless and Order Clover which I am not too familiar with.

I visited on a day where they were closing up early for an event so the menu was limited. Thankfully I was able to order the coffee salmon which immediately caught my eye because of its uniqueness. It came with rice and peas and mac & cheese. I did not like that mac at all. I even brought it back home with me to attempt to reheat, no. Everything else was fantastic!! The salmon is covered in a homemade specialty coffee glaze and pour over into the rice for an immaculate pairing. Behind the truck, there is a cute treehouse that'll make you forget where you are for a second. I'm excited to see what they continue to do as far as set up goes. The owner let us know that they'd have to design changes coming up soon to really make it feel like a great experience. I'd return for sure the next time I'm in the Bridgeport area.

I ordered Birria Tacos and a Sope with Steak. It took about fifteen minutes to prepare and the Sope with the Steak was delicious. It was my first time ever trying one and the Steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The Birria Tacos were okay. The meat was packed with flavor but the Birria Taco was on the dry side. The Consomé was lacking flavor and I didn't fill the love cooked in the Consomé. The customer service was great and the staff were very friendly.

My bill came out to $16.91 including tax. The steak tacos had plenty of meat-but the seasonings were lackluster at best but the fresh lime helped out to give it some taste/flavor. The corn tortillas were doubled up as per usual, heated on the grill and filled with steak & cilantro and they didn't break (surprisingly)! I was underwhelmed- the tacos were just tacos, nothing special, no flavor profile was evident: except the cilantro & lime. The steak (really beef meat) was chewy; very chewy... so sad & disappointing. The rice and beans is what really threw me off (please look at the pic). It had what looked like yellow rice stir fry vibes with frozen peas and carrots=sided with refried beans!!? There was literally a miniscule amout of taste, flavor and eye appeal. The rice seemed tasteless and I tried to mix the refried beans with the rice and made it worse! In my 35t years of Cheffing-it-up, I've NEVER seen Spanish, Mexican,Puerto Rican or ANY Latino rice and beans look and taste like that! ( I WANTED A KNIFE TO SCRAP MY TONGUE!!!) I do understand that different cultures prepare their rice & beans differently, but this was the first and last time I see and taste something like this and call it rice and beans! Oh my... I rate the rice and beans [negative]-2.25 out of 5 stars and the tacos 1.75 stars out of 5 stars. This was an interesting experience to say the least. Thanks Chef Clinton

We were going to get a grinder but the guy making the grinders was the same person taking the money. He had on his sanitation gloves but never took them off to collect the money. My question is, Why wear the gloves if your taking cash with them on? We order the meatballs because he used a spoon to serve them. As for the grinder, he would put the meatballs into the grinder roll and pick up a grinder with his hands covered with the gloves that he was taking cash with "YUCK" Sanitation is key that's why I gave it two stars.

They were serving the chicken Parmesan meatballs the classic meatballs and the honey BBQ meatballs. I ordered all of them to make sure I covered all the bases. Let me just say yummy! The balls were moist, tender and cooked perfectly. I'll list them based on my ranking. The chicken ones were covered in a light red sauce and some shredded Parmesan. I liked the flavors, they were spiced perfectly. The classic were as named. Classic. A great meatball with some nice red sauce. The BBQ ones were sweet and tangy. They served them in a bowl or with a roll as a sandwich. I could definitely see having these guys at my house if I were having a big enough gathering.
