Bufalo pizza. Heaven in a box.
    Emily S.

Get this pizza. Do it. Imagine for a moment the pillowy crust charred just right by the oven, the creamy Buffalo mozzarella melting on your tongue, the salty zip of the almost transparent prosciutto. It's Heaven. How this guy can achieve this Michelin-grade pizza sorcery from a truck, I have no idea. But it was just about the best pizza I've ever had. We ordered the bufalo. If I could, I'd go back and try every single pizza on the menu starting with the Calabrese. It took me a minute to recover from the sublime experience of eating this pizza, wiping the tears from my eyes and the grease from my mouth, but afterward I went back to the truck to tell the owner it was the best pizza I'd ever tasted. Five stars is not enough.

Friendly staff, quick service & delicious pizza! Not much more you can ask for from a food truck. Our apartment complex had them come & I hope they'll come back!

Best Food Truck Pizza Ever. Quick and delicious. Friendly service and really great price. Our go to when we are feeling glutinous. Highly recommend the Chicken Scarpiello pizza and the White Anchovy pizza.

Burrata pizza and we added roasted red peppers. Out of this world delicious!!

I was craving pizza tonight and wanted to try a new place. After looking through some Yelp reviews, I came across 900 Degrees. When I looked, they only had two reviews (maybe since they just opened in April 2018), and I was skeptical if the pizza would be edible despite their two five-star reviews. Spoiler alert, I was very, very wrong. I decided to give this place a try and drove out to Park Avenue, right after the Discovery Museum. I ordered the burrata pizza and added roasted red peppers, I highly recommend it this way. My BF and I kept raving about how good it was after every single bite. The second pie I ordered was the Calabrese, which was equally as good and we didn't add any additional toppings. This is seriously good pizza. From what I devoured tonight, this pizza rivals Brick and Wood in Fairfield, but it is totally unassuming and the price is better. In addition, it only took about five minutes for my pizzas to cook - not bad at all. The staff here is super friendly and I wish them well. I can't wait to try another pizza combination soon.

I have driven by this truck many times. Finally decide to stop. Very glad I did. Excellent pizza. Great crust. We ordered a regular pizza with meatballs and caramelized onions. D-licious!

My second time dining at 29 Markle Court yesterday! When…read morefirst I was introduced to this restaurant: an impromptu visit with a group, and we shared small plates, family style. It was delicious! This time, I reserved a table for four, including guests who were up to an adventurous evening. The place was hopping! A Friday evening fun atmosphere and a beautiful bar that reminded me of a Paris restaurant. We were seated at a great table with banquettes in a corner of the front dining room. Our waitperson was excellent- energetic, informed of the menu, friendly & interactive, I believe her name was Shamira. We received great recommendations for dishes on the menu accommodating certain preferences. Following Cocktails - from the usual order of Scotch, to the " Crimson" spicy, indeed. The "Wanderer" imbiber said she could sip them all night. I, being mostly just a wine drinker, ordered from the "unusual wines" - a delicious white wine from Languedoc named "Picpoul De Pinet, Feline Jourdan", which paired very well with both courses. Based on my enthusiasm we all shared a bottle with our Main Course! Total alignment. We shared Caesar salads, which were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their selection of a main course: Halibut with corn risotto, Shrimp & Grits with spicy red sauce (just right spicy), My dish was Mussels in ginger & lemongrass red Curry, paired with grilled bread for soaking up that sauce, Yum!; a Whole Red Snapper with Mole sauce for my husband - most adventurous diner of the evening! We stretched ourselves to order two desserts: Crème Brûlée and Goat Cheesecake! Sublime. On departing the Restaurant, we were thanked for dining by the Proprietor, Wesley. We had an inspiring conversation about Bridgeport's future. A memorable evening.

Drinks first: my slightly dirty martini was made exactly right. My friend went with cosmo and it was equally on point. Whoever is behind that bar has their act together. Then the food happened. We started with grilled bread with an EVOO, agave, and chile dip -- sounds simple, ate like a statement. The char on the bread, the heat and sweetness of that dip. Good sign of things to come. Main event: shrimp and grits. Guinea flint grits, spicy red sauce, sage, stock. I don't say this lightly -- this is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The grits were creamy and rich, the sauce had real depth and heat, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The whole bowl just worked on every level. Dessert: goat cheesecake with pistachio dust and berry compote. Tangy, creamy, not too sweet, and that pistachio dust on top was a perfect finish. We cleared the plate.

Should have been my first clue. The pizzas in the display case all looked enticing (although nothing labeled or priced) and I decided to get a Gramma slice along with the eggplant special listed for the day. I also got the ricotta/spinach bread showcased in the display case. I asked if the eggplant was a platter or a grinder/sandwich, and was told it was a sandwich. Great. Well, there was no grinder, no Italian bread, roll, but what looked to be either pizza or calzone dough made into bread like slices. Interesting. The taste wasn't great and it was difficult to pick up to eat without all falling apart, so I decided to remove the top piece of "bread" and eat it with a fork and knife. There was 1 piece of eggplant, 1 piece on each sandwich half. One. Eggplant Parm is cooked and then the slices layered, and usually there are at least 3-4 layers, but not this. The eggplant had many seeds in it indicating the eggplant is past its prime-not the freshest -and the seeds add a bitter taste. Not pleasing. Gobs of cheese atop the bread, but no Parmesan detected. The ricotta spinach was an inedible unappetizing mess of stringy cheese and overcooked spinach. The Gramma slice was ok but I would not return for this. The decor is great and the service was fine, but the food was not good and ended up in the garbage! Ugh! On street parking in downtown Bridgeport. I will not be returning nor recommending.

I am a mail carrier, who works in the area. Please note, that I had also delivered to them when the regular was out on vacation, this is how I became a customer. I would purchase their personal size cheese pizza almost everyday while doing the route, or if and when in the area. Before leaving, I would use the bathroom, because as mentioned before ... I am a mail carrier with very little access to restrooms on the routes. So today, although I did not make a purchase today, I stopped there this morning to use the restroom. I again then tried to use the bathroom just now 3/2 @ 5pm and the young lady who is the cashier had an attitude and said to me that I basically shouldn't think that I can just come there and use their bathroom, and that I have to be a customer. I explained to her that I am a customer, I just wasn't making a purchase today. She continues to tell me that she's being "nice," and if it were anyone else .. they would tell me no to my face (lmao). I wanted to curse her out so bad, but me being in my uniform didn't allow me to. Anyways, I reiterated myself about me being a customer ... and that I just wasn't making a purchase ... she calls a gentleman over and he's like don't take it personal ... but it was already personal ... I had been spending my money there for a long time, just for you to deny me bathroom access. I told them straight up that they just lost a customer.

Five Star Pizza was in the vicinity of where my son was getting his hair done so I decided to stop in. I been here before but I haven't been here for many years. I ordered a personal pizza which was six dollars but you have to order at least ten dollars of food to use your debit or credit card. The restaurant looked same as I knew it many years ago but with minor upgrades. The pizza was just okay. It wasn't really crispy but the crust was pretty good, and the flavor was there in the sauce. It wasn't bad for a quick meal and especially at that price. I wouldn't go out my way to visit this restaurant but it is a good place to stop if you're hungry and in the area.
