My dad got a quote from a different place for $5k for some work the said "needed to be done." He called around for other quotes and ended up at West Ave Auto because over the phone they said they would do the job for HALF the price! When my dad got there it turned out a plug just needed to be removed/drained which was causing the sensor on his truck to act up... Marvin was honest and just charged him the labor fee... Saving him thousands! I had water damage to my car and was scared I was going to pay thousands for repairs on my car too but my dad told me to drop my car off at West Ave Auto. They were honest right away. Didn't try to play off the fact my car could have needed huge repairs. Instead reassured me the damage was minor and they were even able to bend back a part instead of telling me to replace the whole thing. In addition, I knew I needed other work done so gladly gave my business to them. My car was also done the same day! Saving me the hassle of having to worry about paying for a rental and unnecessary stress. On top of it, Marvin remembered my dad, his name and truck. Which is very cool considering how many people I'm sure he probably sees on a day-to-day basis. Honesty and integrity go a long way! I ask her to hand her phone to an employee, and when I asked why this is so expensive the employee raised their voice at me. I was able to take my car in that afternoon and it was taken in right away. They showed me what my brakes currently looked like and made a recommendation for service. Once I agreed they called to get parts and began working on my vehicle. The staff was friendly and efficient. The price was fair for the work I needed done.
