Having grown up in Austin, school in San Marcos and working in San Antonio, breakfast tacos are 90% of my breakfast diet. I've had my share of good and bad breakfast tacos and the tacos here were really good. Especially the "migas all the way". I ordered the all the way and the migas all the way. Holy crap, I should have just done two migas all the way. That taco was amazing and the red salsa had the perfect flavor to top it off. This will easily become my breakfast stop when passing through Taylor. Don't expect anything fancy, it's a hole in the wall which is where all the best tacos come from! read more

These are the cheapest breakfast tacos I've seen anywhere. The basic breakfast taco can be had for $1. As in, you give them a dollar bill, you get a taco... that means its base price is something like 93 cents. The tacos are greasy. I ruined a good shirt with taco grease here before I even got to my chorizo. The bag when I was done had a grease-coated bottom, and I was lucky to avoid leaving a greasy spot in my car seat. For comparison, even Torchy's fried-sausage tacos are not as greasy as the two that I had here. (Of course, I did get one with Bacon and one with Chorizo... the two greasiest ingredients possible.) The tacos are chunky. The bacon was thick-cut, about the width of my pinky. (This may have contributed to the grease.) You might even say it crossed the line from bacon into pork-belly. This may require further research to confirm, but the breakfast tacos had a sort of thick, flat-folded style that to me was reminiscent of Michael's Tacos, the on-again off-again place in Round Rock. I like that style and haven't found it elsewhere... except maybe here. And that would be cool. read more

Today was my first time trying this place. It is in a small building but the tacos are wonderful! I got bacon, potato and cheese. My husband and son got beans and cheese, sausage egg cheese. They loved their food as well. A must stop in Taylor for breakfast tacos. Great prices too. read more

I know it looks rough, but the interior is clean and I saw a current health dept license....LOL Just simple, healthy food, at a great price, definitely worth the stop, but only opened for breakfast and lunch so be early. What a sweet little gem this is! Was in Taylor to switch my DL over but I don't live here. Came to yelp to find some breakfast tacos and this was one of the only places that still existed. I must say we are impressed and will be back! All breakfast tacos were amazing including the egg bacon, egg sausage and the everything taco which had egg cheese bacon sausage and potato! Gonzales tacos is AMAZING!! I have been eating Fajitas on wheels for 11 years and they have always been hit or miss. I would get a huge stuffed taco or a small hardly anything in there taco.
