If a Mexican restaurant can't make a vegetarian taco salad right, then you are off my list. It's the simplest most basic food to put together. And you mess that up? How? This vegetarian taco salad was basically a bowl of chopped lettuce and more lettuce and more lettuce, some cheese, tomato, sour cream and mashed avocado on top to hide the mountain of lettuce underneath. I live in Orange County, California, and recently moved to Texas to open a business I went to Taylor, Texas, where at first I was skeptical, and after eating her the first night I went back for three nights. The food was amazing. The quantities were large. The customer service was excellent not to mention the overall environment of everybody eating there I felt like I was eating with my neighbors. Do I recommend this place you bet I do knowing Mexican food better than anybody. This is the place to eat. read more

This location is a longer drive for us than the one in Round Rock, but this one has better service, better consistency of food, and just all around better. Nicole and Mario make every visit awesome. We bring all kinds of friends and family with us, and they all have been very satisfied. We have started going every Saturday, because it's that great. I love MasFajitas on Williams Drive in Georgetown so I had to give the Taylor location a try. The vibe in the restaurant was nice. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Our meals were delicious! My husband got chili relleños (his go to) while I got a 2-enchilada plate. The salsa was full of heat but not overbearingly so. The sweet tea was just sweet enough. The mas fajitas restaurant in Taylor has a new bartender that discriminated against us (black) she has in the past and we late it slide but, now we have had enough of her. she attends to everyone at the bar kindly and avoiding us. When we call her out to get service she tells us to wait a minute and continues to avoid us. We spend money at this place two times a week or more. We visited the new{er} location of MasFajitas and I will say compared to the old MasFajitas, this one is much better! The menu seemed completely different with a ton of selections. The queso blanco and original queso are both great, the birria tacos were really good but did have a few pieces of overly chewy meat. The rice and beans weren't great at all which was a bummer. The refried beans had a really strange flavor and the charro beans were nothing but bacon fat with no actual beans. Margaritas are some of the best in town though. The service was really good. Despite them being quite busy on a Friday afternoon, we only waited maybe 10 minutes for a table and received our food really quickly. There's nothing too special about the ambiance here but that's okay. It's a solid small town TexMex experience. read more

When we visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening, the place was crowded. The crowd, the smell of the food and the nicely decorated interior raised my expectations from the place. We got our table in 15 minutes. I asked for vegetarian options and the server was knowledgeable to point to all of the options. I placed an order for Veggie Fajita and then everything started going downhill from there. The order took some time to come to the table. It took another couple of minutes for the tortillas which was part of the dish. Other thing to mention is I got flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, which was my order. I did not want to wait anymore so I just ate what i got. For my order I chose black beans because that is vegetarian but the one I got had a chunk of meat in it. When told about it, the server apologized and got it replaced but consider this happening to a person who is allergic to meat. The fajitas were cooked well but were bland. Guacamole was just okay. Huge shout out to our server Isabella who made the experience better even after all of that. She is welcoming, friendly and empathetic. read more

Mas Fajita is doing a really great job. Wow I was blown away by their food. This is probably some of the best food I've had in Taylor Texas. Great food, great customer service, you cannot go wrong. Do yourself a favor and stop in and try them out. Food: I got the spicy Fajita combo. It came would be fajitas, chicken fajitas, and jalapeño cheese sausage. All of the meats were simply amazing. When you mix all three and makes for a quite the delight. I am not sure if the tortillas are homemade. But they were really good. You also get a side of rice and beans as well. I'm not a huge fan of salads but I have to admit the salads that my colleagues ordered look really good. I would definitely go back if I was in the area. They are doing a really good job with the food. Too bad how I didn't take any pictures because the food was simply savory. The prices were great as well. Great customer service, great food, great prices. What else could you ask for? I will definitely stop back here soon. read more

Yall already know I don't play about my food and this place is a hidden gem!!!! I'm over here stuffed already and still wanting to order more! I walked in to the greatest smiles and smells. I ended up getting booth. The server named Ana was AMAZING!!! She not only gave me recommendations but also made me feel like family. I'll be in town for a week and this will be my go to spot. I drive past this place often so I decided to give it a shot. I had the Shrimp Diablo with rice and charro beans. Service was tremendously fast and the food was fresh and smelled great....however, the shrimp lacked flavor and appeared a bit tough to chew. MasFajitas has long been a favorite for us. The fajitas are the best available locally, tender and tasty. We usually go for the beef and chicken combo for two. We also enjoy their Taco Tuesdays where tacos are 99 cents each with the purchase of a drink. My husband enjoys the Roadkill,which has a terrible name, but is actually a chicken dish with cheese. Very good lunch menu. Enjoyed a crispy chicken taco, chicken enchilada with charro beans and Spanish rice. All for under $10. Love that they don't cover their food with globs of cheese. This used to be our go to for Tex Mex but the last few visits have been disappointing. While the current staff is ok the cooks and waitstaff we went there for are gone. The food is average now. The place used to be spotless but now has some minor issues (bathrooms not as clean). I'd had to see this downward trend continue. Still an "ok" place, just not a great place. read more

The food is great, the cucumber margarita is always amazing, and the management is the best part by far. The manager always comes table to table to make sure you don't need anything, the food is tasting great, and to clear your table off clutter. Honestly, I love this place! read more

Staff is always taking up seating area in the bar because they use those tables to roll silverware, thus not allowing enough seating in the bar. Restaurant closes at least 15 - 30 min early. But yet if you get in "they are closed" as you see them serving a bear to a customer. Girl manager who used to bartend says they close early bc vents are being cleaned in kitchen. So we go elsewhere...40 minutes later we drive by...restaurant is completely closed...NOT one car in lot for cleaning crew. This is the 2nd time this location has done this...close early for no reason. Signs are not even posted on door. read more
