The rice is cooked well, I like how the grains are broken grain so broken rice. It has a fluffier texture. Nice tomato flavor to the rice. The beans are good. Silky and fresh. It was fantastic and perfectly hit the spot when it was 30 degrees outside. There is plenty of seating, and they move pretty efficiently. As for ambiance, this is a taco counter with an open kitchen and a flat top grill inside a gas station (inside the Valero on Chris Kelley Blvd by the KFC) so I got what I feel most would've expected there. Our server got pulled away after a couple of us paid, and when I went to the hostess stand - where two employees were standing, to request the rest of our bills - they acted like it was impossible for them to assist and decided to try and grab our very busy server!
