It was served with a lime slice and diced cilantro, onions, and green peppers. In addition, you get a ton of corn tortillas on the side and a nice side of rice. For its price tag, it is a steal. It was fantastic and perfectly hit the spot when it was 30 degrees outside. There is plenty of seating, and they move pretty efficiently. I had been craving some birria recently, so I ordered a set of their birria tacos and then an order of plantains to go with it. The service was pretty efficient, and it wasn't long before the food came out hot. The plantains were fantastic. There was so much that I couldn't finish them myself, but they tasted pretty amazing. I recently discovered how fantastic plantains were, and Taqueria Jaguar's fried plantains were top notch. I highly recommend them. When it came to the birria, however, I was left disappointed. I fear maybe it was the experimental nature of my order instead of going for some al pastor tacos, but I felt the meat was not great. It was cooked well, but it had no flavor. I could best compare it to when my grandma made me chili and told me it was amazing, when I had to put so much cheese on it to hide its lack of flavor. As for ambiance, this is a taco counter with an open kitchen and a flat top grill inside a gas station (inside the Valero on Chris Kelley Blvd by the KFC) so I got what I feel most would've expected there.
