Visiting Dallas for the first time, and my cousins recommended this place as one of their go-to's for Korean chicken. I loved it! Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. We started with the cheese tteokbokki, which is a staple for me, and I was not disappointed. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the rice cakes had that ideal chewy texture. The spice level was just right, giving it a nice kick without being overwhelming. For the main entree, we got boneless chicken in both Soy Garlic and Galbi flavors. Both were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had bold, savory flavors. We added the cheese fondue on the side, which turned out to be a perfect pairing. The cheese stayed hot and melty throughout, making each bite of chicken better with cheese wrapped around. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in Dallas!

I loved the service here. We constantly had the owner or manager come up and talk to us. He gave us wonderful recommendations as he asked if it was our first time and we said yes. He constantly came around and made sure everything was good and told us about the restaurant. I loved how cool the layout on the place is and clean it is. I loved the food too! The pizza is new and absolutely delicious with some tobasco sauce. The chicken is so juicy and healthy since nothing here is fried and all oven made. It was very juicy and crispy and flavorful. The cheeseballs were also so delicious and chewy. LOVED THIS PLACE!!

We got pepper crispy chicken (bone in), and it was the blandest chicken ever. It also came with a sweet sauce, which I didn't use. My friends also ordered the soy garlic boneless chicken, and it tasted alright. I ate 2 pieces. The fried potato was yummy. I was in a group of 9 people and we shared 3 larges, with plenty of leftovers. The portions are really big

Best. "Fried." Chicken. Ever! We walked in on a Sunday night and the vibe inside is what you would expect in any restaurant inside a strip mall. It was quaint and clean. And our waiter, who I think was the manager, was patient in explaining their schtick about the chicken being oven fried and what makes it special. Everyone should try the snowy mountain beer. It's such a cool experience. It actually reminded me of the frozen Sapporo you can get in Japan at Epcot lol. The Cheese Tteeokbokki was not the best I ever had but it was pretty good. The texture on those rice cakes were supper addictive. I will say that if that hard boiled egg was cooked any longer, it might have exploded lol. I also really enjoyed the sauce. It was sweet, kinda ketchupy, but it worked. First rule of the crispy platter is that there are no substitutions. The second rule is, get it boneless! I was worried that it would be some crappy boneless wing you would get at a wing stop, but no no no. These were boneless thighs. And when I tell you this was some of the best chicken I've ever had, I do not exaggerate and there is no hyperbole here! Just phenomenal. The soy garlic was our favorite. We cannot wait to go back and try more! I hope this place stays a secret hidden gem forever!

FOOD Bread (complimentary) - hard and tastes sweet. Very yummy and good appetizer that contrasts well with the salty food. Crispy Platter (Boneless) and Galbi Chicken - It was more than enough to share with a group of five people. We also ordered another platter of chicken. It was very crispy and it feels a lot more healthier because the oven roast rather than deep fry the chicken. Good amount of sauce that gave it enough flavor without being overpowering. Definitely one of my more liked places to get chicken! VIBES The place is pretty spacious. We went around 1 PM and it was not that crowded. SERVICE The person taking our order was very good with giving suggestions on portion size. Also very quick to get our order. Food came out very quickly as well. Overall, very satisfied!

Came here with a large group of friends and was able to snag a table easily since they weren't extremely busy. This place has no-fried korean style wings and they were so good! The soy garlic was definitely my favorite, the flavor is comparable to other places without the extra breading. Couldn't tell the difference with the sweet and spicy though. The pepper crispy one was my least favorite just cause I was expecting more pepper flavor. Expect your fingers to be sticky eating the saucy ones!! We also got the rosé and classic tteokbokki. It was a mixed review on which was preferred but personally I liked both flavor wise! It just wasn't as chewy as I wanted nor was there a lot in the plate. The volcano chicken fingers were so good too! Super spicy but just the right amount. It was nice that it was de-boned too. Service was excellent, they handled our large group very well and food came out quickly. I'd come back here to try their other flavors!

No Fry Korean chicken wings!!! When we heard about this, we had to come and try it. Wow, I don't think I can go back to regular wings. These were amazing. The flavor and sauce was spot on. We got the spicy and sweet sauce + a spicy tteokboki to go with. The minute you sit down, you're served crunchy bread fries (??) with sugar on top. Our dishes came out pretty quickly. You definitely need napkins if you got the sticky saucy kind of chicken (or it can be finger licking type of wings, whatever you prefer) I loved the little bit of pickled turnip. It was refreshing in between eating spicy wings. The meat was super tender and juicy and the wings come out piping hot. Btw, the service was amazing, quick attentive and super friendly.

I love Korean fried chicken, so I was super excited that a healthier and very popular baked Korean chicken chain was coming to DFW! Between the 3 of us, we ordered the Crispy Platter ($45 for about 21 bone-in wings), and the medium size Volcano (for about 8-10 boneless wings). The portion sides are determined by the total weight of the wings. We were told the medium size was about a pound of chicken, and the large size was about a little over 1.5 pounds. The chicken platter was my favorite because you get to try out different flavors all at once! Between the 4 flavors, I enjoyed the sweet and spicy wings the most!! Between the boneless and bone-in wings, I felt like the bone in wings were tastier! The service was okay. I think since they're still new, they were working on a lot of the kinks. We had ordered our food, but were approached by multiple servers to place our order. We had to kindly remind them that we already placed our order. At one point I think they forgot our order again. Our food came out slower than the other tables. When the chicken arrived, it was kind of cold. Inside the restaurant was super bright, and clean.

We got the crispy platter which has about 45 wings with three wing flavors. The pepper (dry) was just okay but it was the best out of the garlic soy and the spicy flavor. The sauces that came with the dry were pretty yummy and flavorful! The other two flavors were wayyy too sweet for my liking (but that could just be Korean chicken sauces). It came with some fries but honestly I wanted more. We also had some radish and this sweet crotons which was good but a little odd. Service was great! Went on their grand opening and they were pretty attentive. Clean space that looks very modern too. Loved the cute chicken decor.

Food was pretty good. We ordered the cheese tteokboki which is so yummy, but spicy for kids. We also had the chicken wing platter with the sweet spicy (delicious), soy garlic (savory), and pepper crispy. (Meh) The pepper crispy tastes better when dipped in the sauce (you're given 2 sauces which are both spicy, but one is spicier than the other). The wings hit the spot though and it was enough to feed 3 adults for sure. The service is kind of lacking. They seem so busy, that they don't really come by unless you flag them down for water and what not. They also seated a family of 5, which had 2 young kids in a table with 4 seats, so my toddler had to sit on my lap. I would have rather sat at the booth tables. The atmosphere is nice, cozy. Super busy on a Saturday night. I would try and park in the back and walk in through the pickup side and then register for your party at the front after you walk through the restaurant. Parking on the front is terrible ! Overall food was pretty good and comparable to when I had it in HK several years ago. Will definitely come back!

What a lovely restaurant! This place serves a healthy alternative to KFC. I don't know that it is much healthier but it's very tasty. The ambiance is cozy and casual and invites patrons to rejoice with tasty food and a fresh selection of alcohol. I started the night off with an Asahi Snow Mountain and it did not disappoint- it's a draft Asahi topped with slushy of Asahi and soju. Not for everyone - depends on the flavor of the soju and whether you vibe with it. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Our table was split into three and my third enjoyed the pepper crispy chicken wings large. It was about 16-17 chicken wings, or enough for 4 people. They were very tasty - lightly crisp but with well-cooked meat. They're not spicy. Not at all. But they have perceived salt and pepper. We also enjoyed rose teokkbokki with added noodles for $1.50 - they're just regular ramyun noodles but drunk Reynu found this to be heavenly. We did, however, notice that we got fewer fish cakes than another group at our party, which sucks. It should have been the same amount of fish cake since the noodles were extra cost over the base price. The chicken feet are tasty but the tastiness depreciates significantly as it cools, so eat them up while they're piping hot. Also be careful for bones. There could be small bones since they were removed by hand. The service was great - our server, Kevin, was attentive and cheerful despite the crowd. I think this is a great establishment. It's definitely on the up. Based on this and the reasonable prices of the food, I'd love to return soon. Also do note - there is a blue button to call staff to the table

This place serves some very tasty dishes. The volcano chicken was absolutely delicious. The skin has rendered enough that it added to the enjoyment unlike typical typical oven baked chicken skin that is rubbery. I had been searching for a garlic baguette ball for years. This is the first I've found. It's deliciously tasty but does not travel well. It loses all of its crisp. If this is why you are ordering you might want to go to the restaurant to eat out fresh. The radish was fresh. The gizzards were delicious but this style of cooking them results in a cartilage like crunch that I'm not used to. They would be so much better tender. Service and ambiance are ignored as this was an Uber order.

I finally tried Goobne and it was so yummy!! We split the crispy platter between 4 people and barely finished the plate. It was a super filling meal that was very affordable and came out to about $12 a person. My favorite flavor was the soy garlic but the pepper and sweet and sour were also really yummy! The service was quick and the restaurant was spacious and clean. Although it's oven roasted chicken, it's so crispy and yummy that I'm adding Goobne to my fried chicken rotation. :)

Really not that great. The chicken was mediocre and lacked flavor. Very overhyped from what was being advertised.

Fortunately, our group of 20 had made reservations prior to our visit. After looking over the menu, we chose the "RonI One." It had pepperoni, bacon marmalade, tomato sauce and house made Mozzarella. Sounds yummy! I was also intrigued with their speciality cocktail menu. They had me at the "Limoncello Margarita." What's not to love about.Limoncello? John T, our server, took excellent care of our group. After a short wait, salad, pies, and pasta started arriving at our table. Our Roni One was a wonderful mix of sweet and spicy. What a great pie! We'll definitely have to check out one of our local Cane Rosso's in the future.

Food was excellent; drinks were excellent. We ate at the one that was in Deep Ellum (not sure if…read moreit's still there) a few years ago. I remembered the pizza was great. We ate at the Carrollton location last night because it was halfway between our house and my cousin's and his wife's house. Doubt we will purposely return to Carrollton anytime soon. I'm giving a rating of three because the food was a five and the service was a one. I actually don't write reviews very often, and I don't think I've done one in the last two years. But the guy who waited on us was rushing us out before we even got our drinks. We ordered our drinks, and he said, "it's going to take a while because the bar is backed up." (suggestion: That's not a great opening line.) "Do you want to go ahead and order your food?" (To which we said no.) He seemed put out from the get-go. Finally, I had to tell him directly, "We're not in a rush, even though you are." He's probably late 20s, dark hair, a beard, and overall a really poor performer. If he doesn't like his job, he should go do something else, though I doubt he's qualified to do much other than be on welfare. We bought four entrées, an appetizer, and two rounds of drinks. We probably would've bought more but for this really poor waiter. This is a good restaurant with very good food and a good concept. You (owner/manager) need to take much more care on the people side. It's hard to hire good talent these days but you need to do better than this. Good luck. But you need to realize there are way too many choices out there. And, if anything, this review is quite generous.

Back then, everything was a la carte. I could order one or two slices and a drink. Now, they have a combo pricing: a slice, a salad, and a drink. The salad options are House or Caesar. I chose the Caesar salad. At first glance, it seemed like a decent portion. But when I looked closer, I realized it was just a single layer of lettuce. I found it easier to scoop the leaves with the fork tines than to spike it. I would have preferred saving a few dollars and skipping the salad altogether. On the positive side, the time I spent eating the salad would have been spent drinking the fountain soda. When the pepperoni slice arrived, a generous amount of my favorite Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda was still remaining in my cup. The pizza slice was just as big as before. Unlike typical New York-style pizza, the crust was brittle and cracked when I folded it. Also, the cooking process prevented grease from seeping onto the paper lining. As a result, the slice itself was a bit dry, which is not my preferred style.
